CONTAINER AND STRUCTURE
A container capable of suppressing the unexpected opening of a pair of upper walls including a first side wall and a second side wall facing each other; a third side wall provided therebetween; a first upper wall and a second upper wall; and a locking member. The first side wall and the second side wall face each other. The first upper wall and the second upper wall are configured to be rotatable with respect to the first side wall and the second side wall, respectively. The locking member includes a fixed portion and an engagement portion, the fixed portion being fixed to the third side wall, the engagement portion being engaged with at least one of the first upper wall and the second upper wall to prevent the first upper wall and the second upper wall from opening.
Spigot and Spigot Guard for an Insulating Container
An insulating container having a base and a lid is provided. The lid may be rotatable about a hinge from a closed configuration to an open configuration and may be secured, via one or more latching devices, in either the closed configuration or the open configuration. In some examples, the rotatable lid may be non-destructively removable from the base. Some example arrangements include a removable lid that, when removed, may be secured to the base via an additional portion of the latching device. Additional features of the insulating container include handles that are integrally formed with the base, a recess formed in the base and housing a spigot, and/or a spigot guard.
Insulating transport and storage container
An insulating transport/storage container for transporting/storing temperature sensitive materials, with a generally tubular wall element defining a load volume between first and second apertures at either end thereof, the tubular wall element having an axis. First and second closures operate to close first and second apertures and fastening means operable to secure said first and second closures. The tubular wall element comprises a multiple-layer winding of single-sided corrugated sheet, with the layers coupled together whereby to define a high level of thermal resistance.
Vacuum Insulation Element, Vacuum Insulated Packaging, and Vacuum Insulated Case
The invention concerns a vacuum insulation element in which a core in a vacuum-tight enclosure is evacuated, as well as vacuum insulated packaging and a vacuum insulated case, wherein the core is composed of one or more elements that have a shape-giving structure, which forms an insulation volume, which is evacuated in the enclosure. Where appropriate, a single step can also include vacuum-sealing the contents in the effective volume.
Configurable container
A configurable container includes a first divider and a container body. The divider has a divider body and a first projection extending from the divider body, wherein the first projection has a length having a first dimension and a width having a second dimension different than the first dimension. The container body includes a first wall that includes a first groove facing inward toward the internal cavity, wherein the first groove has a width configured to receive the width of the first projection of the first divider in a first orientation. At least one of the first wall and a second wall includes a second groove also facing inward toward the internal cavity, wherein the second groove has a width configured to receive the length of the first projection in a second orientation, wherein the width of the second groove is different than the width of the first groove.
Ozone Adhesion Process for Insulating Container Manufacture
Systems and methods for improving adhesion of an insulating foam to a molded polymeric insulating structure through use of ozone gas for functionalization of molded polymeric surfaces of an internal cavity of the insulating structure.
INSULATED PACKAGING AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
Insulated packaging is provided including an inner substrate and an outer substrate attached to the inner substrate to form an air gap therebetween. An expandable material including expandable microspheres is provided with the expandable material disposed between the inner substrate and the outer substrate. An adhesive material different than the expandable material is disposed between the inner substrate and the outer substrate to attach the inner substrate to the outer substrate. A method for forming the insulated packaging is also provided.
THERMALLY INSULATED TRANSPORT CONTAINER COMPRISING THERMAL INSULATION RESTING AGAINST THE WALLS, AND WALL STRUCTURE OF A CONTAINER OF SAID TYPE
The invention relates to a thermally insulated transport container with a housing for forming a space for goods, with walls and a thermal insulation abutting the walls as well as a wall structure of such a container. In particular, the invention relates to such a container as an air cargo container. According to the invention, sandwich plastic plates are provided as walls, with a honeycomb core welded on both sides to one covering ply, respectively, the honeycomb core and the covering plies consisting of a thermoplastic material, preferably PP. In this case, the walls are, in particular, a thermoplastic sandwich panel, consisting substantially of a PP (polypropylene) honeycomb core and PP covering layers, in particular glass-fiber reinforced, which are, with regard to the materials, homogenously connected to each other by thermally fused connection. Such plates are offered, for example, by Wihag Composites GmbH & Co. KG under the trademark MonoPan®, which are preferred in this case. The use of thermoplastic material makes it possible for adjacent sandwich plastic plates to be attached to each other by welding, particularly in the region of the edges. In particular, it is thus possible to produce largely frameless and thus lighter transport containers.
Insulating device
An insulating device can include a body assembly and a lid assembly where an insulating layer is connected to both the body assembly and the lid assembly. An aperture with a closure is formed between the body assembly and lid assembly to form a storage compartment. An insulating tab may be formed from a portion of the insulating layer and an inner liner of the body assembly to help insulate the closure region. In addition, a first magnetic element may be secured within the insulating tab that may engage a second magnetic element secured within the lid assembly.
REPULPABLE CONTAINER
A repulpable insulated container assembly having a container formed of paper such as corrugated cardboard or varying paper materials and defining an interior; and a repulpable insert placed within the interior of the container and formed of a first paper layer; and a paper fiber pad coupled to the first paper layer.
