Vacuum Insulation Element, Vacuum Insulated Packaging, and Vacuum Insulated Case
The invention concerns a vacuum insulation element in which a core in a vacuum-tight enclosure is evacuated, as well as vacuum insulated packaging and a vacuum insulated case, wherein the core is composed of one or more elements that have a shape-giving structure, which forms an insulation volume, which is evacuated in the enclosure. Where appropriate, a single step can also include vacuum-sealing the contents in the effective volume.
HIGH-STRENGTH FLUTING FROM NSSC PULP
There is provided a method of producing a containerboard, comprising the step of pressing a web formed from a pulp comprising NSSC pulp in an extended nip press, such as a shoe press, wherein the line load in the extended nip press is above 1200 kN/m. Further, there is provided a corrugated board comprising a liner and a fluting, wherein the fluting is formed from a pulp comprising NSSC pulp, the density of the fluting is above 725 kg/m3 and the geometric SCT index (ISO 9895) of the fluting is above 37 Nm/g.
Insulated box assembly with overlapping panels
A box assembly includes an exterior piece including a middle portion; a connecting segment coupled to the middle portion by a fold line; and a end segment coupled to the connecting segment by a fold line, the connecting segment positioned substantially perpendicular to the middle portion and the end segment; an interior piece positioned within the exterior piece, the interior piece including a side panel, a space defined between the middle portion and the side panel, the interior piece defining a cavity, the end segment extending into the cavity, the end segment coupled to the side panel; and an insulator positioned at least partially within the space.
METHOD AND CONTAINER FOR SHIPPING A FROZEN FOOD PRODUCT
This disclosure relates to a method and container for shipping a frozen food product, normally in the form of an uncooked fruit pie, with a decorative container for holding the food product such that the decorative container is adjacent to the frozen food product which in turn is positioned adjacent to a refrigeration component to maintain the frozen product frozen during shipment. The combination provides an unusual gifting opportunity providing a reusable laser engraved commemorative and reusable memorabilia for celebrating life's important events. Preferably the food product is uncooked and is conventionally baked by the recipient or by another prior to presentation to the intended recipient.
Box insert with vertical rails
A registration system including an insert including a center segment and a rail, the rail extending upwards from the center segment; and a register defining a cutout, the rail sized to fit within the cutout of the register, the cutout receiving the rail, the register configured to slidably move along the rail while maintaining a position parallel to the center segment.
Box insert with vertical rails
A method for using a register system, the method including engaging a cutout of a register with a rail of an insert, the rail connected to a center segment of the register, the register positioned substantially parallel to the center segment; and sliding the register along the rail while maintaining the register substantially parallel to the center segment.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INSERTING THERMAL INSULATING BOX LINERS
Apparatus and methods for assembling thermally insulated containers are disclosed. In one example, an apparatus for inserting a first insulating liner panel and a second insulating liner panel into a rectangular box to form a thermally insulated container includes a first station with a flap opening assembly, a second station with a first liner panel insertion assembly for inserting a first liner panel within the box, and a third station with a second liner panel insertion assembly for inserting a second liner panel within the box. A box transfer system is configured to transfer the box between the first station, the second station, and the third station. A flap guide system maintains the at least two of the lid flaps of the box in the open configuration as the box is transferred from the first station to the third station.
Containers for transporting items and methods of arranging such containers
Containers for storing and transporting items such as but not limited to traditional disposable aluminum pans, and methods of arranging such containers. A first container includes a base panel, four side panels coupled to the base panel, two cover panels pivotally coupled to two of the side panels, and two top panels pivotally coupled to the other two side panels. A second container includes a base panel, four side panels coupled to the base panel, two cover panels pivotally coupled to two of the side panels, a top panel pivotally coupled to another of the side panels, a front panel pivotally coupled to the top panel, and a separation panel pivotally coupled to the last of the side panels. The containers are configured to be arranged in assembled configurations that define enclosed compartments suitable for storing items.
Temperature insulated packaging systems and related methods
A temperature insulated packaging system includes a container having interior surface bounding an interior volume and a liner disposed within the interior volume and at least partially bounding a compartment configured to receive an item for temperature insulated shipping. The liner includes a first sleeve made of cellulose material and at least partially bounds a channel. The first sleeve has an outside wall disposed adjacent to the container and an opposing inside wall disposed adjacent to the compartment configured to receive the item for shipping, the channel being disposed between the inside wall and the outside wall. At least one insulation sheet is disposed within the channel of the first sleeve, the at least one insulation sheet being made of a cellulose material and having a plurality of recesses formed thereon.
INSULATED BOX ASSEMBLY WITH OVERLAPPING PANELS
A box assembly can include an exterior piece including a first middle portion, a second middle portion, a third middle portion, and a fourth middle portion; the first middle portion and the third middle portion positioned perpendicular to the second middle portion and the fourth middle portion; a plurality of insulator pads including a first side insulator pad, a second side insulator pad, and a third side insulator pad; the first side insulator pad contacting the first middle portion; the second side insulator pad contacting the first middle portion, the second middle portion, and the third middle portion; the third side insulator pad contacting the third middle portion; and an interior piece positioned within the exterior piece, the interior piece including a first side panel and a second side panel; the first side insulator pad positioned between the first side panel and the first middle portion.
