Packaging product with thermal and mechanical insulation features
A packaging product taking the form of a thermally insulating packaging material includes a first multi-layer film bonded to a second layer of multi-layer film. Each multi-layer film can include one or more polymer layers and one or more metallized layers. The multi-layer films are bonded to each other with a pattern that leaves a number of inflatable cells dispersed across a surface of the sheet. At least one end of the sheet can be left unbonded. The uninflated packaging product can be stored and distributed in its uninflated state prior to it being used as a packaging material. Once ready for use, the cells can be inflated through the unbonded ends and the unbonded ends of the sheets can then be sealed to form a robust sheet of thermally insulating packaging material.

The insulated packing system may include a base layer, an insulating layer disposed on the base layer in one or more areas and a sealing layer. The insulating layer may be a plurality of block-shaped pockets having a substantially rectangular or cube form in each of the one or more areas. Alternatively, a reflective layer may be included. The base layer may be folded to join the substantially rectangular forms and align with the inner surface of all or part of a shipping container, e.g., a box. In an alternate embodiment, the insulating packing system may be in the form of a bag/pliable pouch.
Softside Cooler with External LED Lighting
An insulated container including a plurality of flexible layers coupled together to form a body of the insulated container. The plurality of flexible layers includes an outer shell. The insulated container includes a plurality of segments coupled to an exterior surface of the outer shell. Each of the plurality of segments forms a loop. The insulated container includes a plurality of flexible straps coupled to the exterior surface of the outer shell. Each of the flexible straps provides a channel along a longitudinal axis of the insulated container. The insulated container includes a lighting strip passing through the loop formed by each of the plurality of segments and through the channel provided by each of the flexible straps to secure the lighting strip to the insulated container. The insulated container may also include a removable lighted speaker configured to be coupled to, and temporarily decoupled from, the outer shell.
PACKAGING MATERIALS WITH SEALED EDGES AND PACKAGING SYSTEMS
The present disclosure is directed to an insulating sheet material including a first metallized layer, a second layer including a plurality of air pockets on the first layer, and a third layer on the second layer. The first metallized layer includes a metallic layer on a polymeric layer, and the second and third layers are polymeric layers as well. In some embodiments, the polymeric layer of the first layer, the second polymeric layer, and the third polymeric layer are melted and fused together at edges of the first, second, and third layers forming an insulating sheet material. A package liner is made of a first insulating sheet material, a second insulating sheet material, and a third insulating sheet material having edges that are melted and fused together. A package includes a first insulating sheet material and a second insulating sheet material having edges that are melted and fused together.
DELIVERY POUCH AND DELIVERY BOX CONTAINING SAID DELIVERY POUCH
A delivery pouch, in particular for perishable goods, includes a front wall comprising an inner layer having opposing first and second side edges and an outer layer having opposing first and second side edges that are connected to each other. The inner layer of the front wall of the pouch comprises a foamed polymer layer and the outer layer of the front wall of the pouch comprises a foamed or non-foamed polymer layer. The rear wall of the pouch comprises, at least in that section of the rear wall of the pouch that does not protrude over the front wall of the pouch, an inner layer having opposing first and second side edges and an outer layer having opposing first and second side edges that are connected to each other. The inner layer of the rear wall of the pouch comprises a foamed polymer layer and the outer layer of the rear wall of the pouch comprises a foamed or non-foamed polymer layer. The front wall of the pouch or the rear wall of the pouch comprises at least one fastening component on the upper end of the pouch, wherein the fastening component is designed to close the closable opening on the upper end of the pouch after the protruding section of the rear wall of the pouch is folded over the front wall of the pouch. Also disclosed is a delivery box comprising a delivery container and a lid and containing a multitude of delivery pouches, and a method of transporting goods for delivery, in particular for perishable goods, by use of the delivery pouches or by use of the delivery box described herein.
INFLATABLE PROTECTIVE PACKAGING FOR THE COLD CHAIN MARKETPLACE
An insulative packaging for cold chain marketplace. The insulative packaging includes a base unit, a wall unit, and a top unit, which together form an enclosure. Each the base unit, the wall unit, and the top unit has an inflatable liner, one or more insulative sheets, and a radiant barrier. The inflatable liner can be folded and the one or more insulative sheets can be sandwiched between the two folds of the inflatable liner. An article to be protective can be placed within the enclosure and insulative packaging can provide 360-degree insulation and protection.
FILM DEPOSITION DELIVERY CONTAINER
A container includes a pair of opposing side panels; and a pair of opposing main panels, each side panel of the pair of opposing side panels attached to each main panel of the pair of opposing main panels, the pair of opposing main panels and the pair of opposing side panels together at least partially defining a cavity within the container; wherein the pair of opposing side panels and the pair of opposing main panels are defined by a blank, the blank including a base layer and a film, the film coupled to the base layer, the film positioned facing the cavity, the film defining the cavity.
MULTIPACK BEVERAGE CONTAINER INSULATION SYSTEM.
An insulation system for beverage containers comprising: an inner container surrounding a plurality of cylindrical beverage containers contained in an inner container; a handle included in an inner container top panel; an outer container having a cavity defined in the outer container for receiving the inner container; a pair of lateral spacers disposed lengthwise along corresponding inner upper corners of the out container; an airspace defined between an inner container side panel and an external container side panel having a polygon cross-section; and, a handle access opening centrally defined in an outer container top panel allowing access to the handle of the inner container so that the beverage containers, inner container and out container can be transported using the handle wherein the width of the handle access opening is about one third the length of the outer panel top opening.
