APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SECURING WHEELED SHIPPING CARTS WITHIN A SHIPPING CONTAINER
An apparatus, system and method for securing wheeled shipping carts within a shipping container. The apparatus, system and method for securing wheeled shipping carts within a shipping container secures the shipping racks across the width of the container and vertically, and then end-to-end inside the length of the container from the fixed end of the container to the doors as the container is loaded. In addition, the system and method secures wheeled shipping carts within a shipping container using a securing apparatus installed within the shipping container to constrain the wheeled shipping carts both vertically and horizontally in location during transport.
Storage and Transport of Hygroscopic Products
The techniques described herein relate to an apparatus that includes an ISO shipping container with a steel frame and a corrugated profile, a removable reflective material covering at least 75% of at least one surface of the ISO shipping container, and adhesive to connect the reflective material to the ISO shipping container. A method for shipping hygroscopic products is also described, where the method includes loading the hygroscopic products into an ISO shipping container, sealing the ISO shipping container, covering a roof of the ISO shipping container with a reflective material by pushing the ISO shipping container under a roller rolling out the reflective material onto the ISO shipping container, adhering the reflective material to the ISO shipping container with an adhesive, transporting the ISO shipping container to a destination, removing the reflective material from the ISO shipping container, unsealing the ISO shipping container, unloading the hygroscopic products from the ISO shipping container, and providing to the recipient of the hygroscopic products with the physical and chemical time series of the measurements captured during the storage and the transport of the ISO shipping container.
CARGO SHIPPING PLATFORM FOR LIGHTWEIGHT CARGO CONTAINERS
The low-weight design cargo shipping platform as an alternative to the conventional steel container for transportation of e-commerce cargo is provided which uses low-weight container modules enclosed within the cargo shipping platform. According to present embodiment, the cargo shipping platform of present invention is made of four corner upright members and a plurality of horizontal long and short members connected to form a rectangular cage like platform to accommodate and enclose any light weight container module. The shipping platform further includes a pair of central upright members to provide additional support to the platform and a plurality of side gate arms configured between top ends of the corner upright and bottom ends of the central upright member at an angle of 45 degree to form a zigzag wall at the sides of the platform to prevent displacement of the container module during shipping.
CONTAINER ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM
A container energy storage system is provided in this disclosure. The system includes a container and a plurality of functional assemblies. The container includes a container frame and a bottom plate. The container frame is formed with a plurality of openings and a hollow main body. The bottom plate is disposed at a bottom of the container frame and is fixedly connected to the container frame. The functional assemblies are disposed in the hollow main body and located above the bottom plate.
Methods of using modified shipping containers
Methods and apparatuses for shipping of fabricated rectangular wooden modules used for construction of a wood frame structure and for shipping of other bulky items are described. In particular, the disclosure features a modified shipping container for shipping the fabricated rectangular wooden modules and methods of loading, transporting, and unloading the fabricated rectangular wooden modules. The modified shipping container features a removable header system and a removable cover. The fabricated rectangular wooden modules include a module length axis, a module width axis, a bounded wood perimeter, and joists or rafters oriented perpendicularly to the module length axis, and are stacked as cargo in the interior of the container such that joists or rafters of the fabricated rectangular wooden modules are substantially vertical and the length axes of the modules are substantially parallel to a length axis of the container.
Foldable container and apparatus for folding and unfolding the same
A foldable container according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a lower panel; an upper panel provided in parallel with the lower panel; first and second lateral panels of which upper and lower ends are respectively connected to the upper panel and the lower panel to be rotatable along a longitudinal direction of the upper panel and the lower panel and which are configured to be folded toward the inside of the foldable container; and front and rear panels connected to the lower panel to be rotatable along a transverse direction of the lower panel.
Multipurpose relocatable structure and lifting systems and methods
A multipurpose relocatable structure includes a floor system, a framework secured to the floor system, and walls coupled to the framework. The walls include a number of panels that are secured along adjacent vertical edges. The multipurpose relocatable structure may include a preconfigured interior, one or more doors having an emergency escape hatch, a protected electrical connector, an environmental control system that is configurable between operational and transport configurations, and lifting corners having securement apertures.
Spline joints and container having same
A container including a first panel with a first edge having a first protrusion with a first contoured profile with at least one projection, a second panel with a second edge having a second protrusion with a second contoured profile with at least one projection, and a spline with a first channel that defines a recess with an interior profile, and a second channel separate from the first channel that defines a recess with an interior profile. The first and second channels receive the first and second protrusions, respectively, such that the first contoured profile is complementary to a portion of the interior profile and the second contoured profile is complementary to a portion of the interior profile. The first and second panel include a mid-section extending from the first and second edges, respectively. The first and second edges have a greater thickness than the thickness of the mid-sections.
