Modular storage tank with secondary containment
A modular storage tank has a secondary containment receptacle defined by a plurality of rigid floor panels which are joined to one another to form a continuous floor and a plurality of rigid, upright wall panels joined to one another to form a continuous perimeter wall extending upwardly from the continuous floor, and a primary containment receptacle defined by a flexible line membrane within the secondary containment receptacle. The wall panels are joined to one another using a gasket and threaded fasteners such that the wall panels are readily separable from one another for reuse at different site after disassembly. The floor panels are joined to one another and to the perimeter wall by welded seams.
STORAGE SYSTEM FOR VOLATILE LIQUIDS
A storage container for storing quantities of acids and other volatile liquids is described having a recirculation system that can include a recirculation pump and a recirculation line that goes from a bottom end of the container toward a top end of the container, where the recirculation line has a plurality of pressure relief valves spaced along its length. The storage container may also include a leak detection system and a high level warning system.
Large-capacity modular holding container and related methods
A holding container includes a plurality of pre-formed, releasably interlocking, load-bearing panels configured to form an at least partially curved, load-bearing wall extending around the perimeter of at least one storage area capable of containing at least 100,000 gallons of liquids, solids or a combination thereof. At least one among the width and length of each panel is less than 102 inches in a non-load-bearing state.
Grain storage bin with aeration system
A grain storage bin includes a cylindrical wall formed by a plurality of panels arranged in rows with a bottom edge of a first row bolted to a top edge of a second lower row. At each joint the bottom edge of the first upper row is overlapped with and outside of the outer surface of top edge of the second lower row and the bottom edge is fastened to the top edge by bolts carrying spacers as to define a first channel along the joint for passage of air. A central air injection duct is formed of a series of generally frustoconical duct pieces arranged in a row suspended on a cable from the roof with a tube portion into which the air is injected fixed on legs at a hopper bottom standing upwardly therefrom. The cable is connected by a spring at the bottom to maintain tension.
TANK AND METHOD
A tank for the storage of liquid or gaseous substances with a fiber-reinforced plastic sheathing, which limits at least one interior space for holding the materials to be stored. At least one circumferential section of the fiber-reinforced plastic sheathing comprises an evacuable sandwich structure, which completely encloses the circumferential section. As a result, the tank has a low weight with a high thermal insulation capacity. Furthermore, a reliable explosion protection of the tank is provided. Furthermore, a method for manufacturing a tank for the storage of liquid or gaseous substances is provided.
PARTS ASSEMBLY, PANEL, AND TANK
A parts assembly, a tank, and a panel discussed, including a first wall; a second wall, a first edge of the first wall facing a second edge of the second wall; a first flange connected to and extending outward from the first wall; a second flange connected to and extending outward from the second wall, the second flange being spaced from and disposed opposite the first flange; at least one fastener extending through and connecting the first flange and the second flange, the at least one fastener being pre-tensioned; and at least one rigid spacing member disposed between the first flange and the second flange, the rigid spacing member being spaced from the at least one fastener, the rigid spacing member being in contact with the first and second flanges, the at least one fastener being disposed between the rigid spacing member and the first and second walls.
Fluid containment structure and system
A modular fluid containment system has wall segments that are joined at angled corners to form a closed wall. A membrane spans the closed wall and is connected to the closed wall with membrane attachment members. In some embodiments, a truss may span the closed wall and support a second membrane that protects impounded liquids from the environment.
Quasi-Cylindrical Cargo Container and Construction
A quasi-cylindrical cargo container is formed of a plurality of rigid, curved panels together forming first and second semi-cylindrical shells, and a plurality of rigid, flat extension panels bridging the first and second semi-cylindrical shells. A method of manufacturing the container includes forming the first and second semi-cylindrical shell from the curved panels, forming the quasi-cylindrical shell from the first and second semi-cylindrical shells and the flat extension panels, forming collars conformably encompassing the quasi-cylindrical shell, constricting the collars to compress joints formed at abutting edges of pairs of adjacent panels, rolling the shell and collars sequentially to bring the joints to a lower position, welding inside seams of the joints when at the lower position, removing the collars, rolling the shell sequentially to bring the joints to an upper position, and welding outside seams of the joints when at the upper position.
PROPPANT DELIVERY SYSTEM COMPRISING SILOS AND SMALLER RECTANGULOID STORAGE CONTAINERS CARRIED ON A SUPPORT STAND AND RELATED METHOD
A proppant delivery system for use at a hydraulic fracturing site to prepare a proppant mixture for subsequent delivery to a wellbore at the hydraulic fracturing site comprises two types of proppant storage containers, including silo type and box-like container type each of which normally has a dedicated system to dispense proppant, arranged in an array usually employed in a silo-only delivery system where parallel rows are formed and interrupted by a feed conveyor extending parallel to and disposed between the rows. A support stand carries the box-like container to one side of the feed conveyor with a bottom discharge of this container held at a spaced height above a ground surface.
Head module, large-scale container and method for manufacturing the both
A head module for a large-scale container, a large-scale container having the head module, and methods for manufacturing the head module and the large-scale container. The method for manufacturing a head module comprises providing a head having an annular opening, the head being composed of a plurality of petals, providing a plurality of cylinder plates, and forming a head cylindrical ring, connecting in order the plurality of cylinder plates to the end surface of the annular opening and joining facing sides of all adjacent cylinder plates. Based on the unfitness of the petals at the annular opening of the head, gaps between adjacent cylinder plates may be adjusted, and/or the positions of the cylinder plates on the end surface of the annular opening of the head may be adjusted radially inwards or outwards.
