Safety grain bin door latch system

A safety door latch system is presented for a grain bin having a door frame. An inner door is connected to the door frame that is configured to move between an open position and a closed position. An outer door is connected to the door frame and is configured to move between an open position and a closed position. A safety mechanism is connected to the door frame and is configured to move between an open position and a closed position. When the inner door frame is moved to a closed position, a portion of the inner door engages the safety mechanism thereby causing the safety mechanism to move to the closed position. When the safety mechanism is in the closed position, the outer door may be latched to the safety mechanism. When the safety mechanism is in the open position, the outer door cannot latch to the safety mechanism.

A storage container for storing quantities of acids and other volatile liquids is described having a recirculation system that can include a recirculation pump and a recirculation line that goes from a bottom end of the container toward a top end of the container, where the recirculation line has a plurality of pressure relief valves spaced along its length. The storage container may also include a leak detection system and a high level warning system.

TANK AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING DIKE

In an LNG tank, a dike is formed by arranging precast blocks in the circumferential direction and layering the precast blocks in the vertical direction. Each of the precast blocks has loop joints on the top, bottom, left, and right side faces, and concrete is deposited between each two precast blocks adjacent in the circumferential direction and the vertical direction, whereby masonry joints are formed in the vertical direction and the circumferential direction. Prestress is imparted to the dike by PC steel members. The PC steel members are provided in the circumferential direction and the vertical direction of the dike, and are arranged so as to avoid the masonry joints in the circumferential direction and the vertical direction. Therefore, it is possible to construct the dike in a short time, and it is possible to provide a tank or the like that can reduce the construction period.

As construction entrances, a first construction opening is opened in an outer tank side plate, a second construction opening is opened in an inner tank side plate, and a third construction opening is opened in an intermediate tank side plate, each during the installation of the corresponding side plate. The construction openings are opened so as to partially overlap with one another in a circumferential direction and a height direction of the triple shell tank. The first construction opening and the second construction opening are opened so as to satisfy a relationship AR1AR2, where AR1 is an opening area of the first construction opening and AR2 is an opening area of the second construction opening.
