LIQUID POURING MEMBER AND CONTAINER
A liquid pouring member capable of effectively preventing the liquid from spouting upon opening. An inner plug includes a nozzle, a base to be engaged with an opening of a container, and a hollow cylindrical skirt. The nozzle includes a nozzle upper part extending from an upper surface of the base and a nozzle lower part extending from a lower surface of the base. The nozzle upper part includes an outlet port, and the nozzle lower part includes an inlet port. An inner passage is formed from the inlet port to the outlet port while penetrating therethrough. The nozzle lower part is formed in a radial inner side of the hollow cylindrical skirt, and includes an end portion with an inclined surface. The inlet port is formed in the inclined surface.
CONTAINER FOR PACKAGING
A container (10) for packaging a product is described, comprising: a glass-shaped body (15) made of a paper-based material and defining an accommodation volume inside which the product is adapted to be contained, wherein said glass-shaped body (15) is closed at the bottom by a bottom wall (20) and it is provided with a circular upper opening (30) delimited by a top edge (35), and a containment body (55) made of paper-based material, fixed at the top edge (35) of the glass-shaped body (15) and having an outlet hole (60) for the product, wherein said containment body (55) has a concave shape having concavity directed towards the accommodation volume of the glass-shaped body (15) and tapered from the top edge (35) of the glass-shaped body (15) towards the outlet hole (60).
Shaker top with freshness seal and method of making same
A shaker top for dispensing products in a container, including a top unit having a peelable protective cover affixed upon a dispensing liner having at least one perforation, the top unit affixed to a mouth of a container. A method of manufacturing a shaker top with a peelable protective cover, including the steps of affixing a peelable protective cover upon a dispensing liner, assembling a top unit including the peelable protective cover and the dispensing liner, affixing the top unit to a mouth of a container, and covering the container with a cap. A shaker top with a peelable protective cover attached to a container, manufactured by the method of manufacture. A method of using a container having a shaker top with a freshness seal.
Closure
A closure comprising a base body with a circumferential recess foreseen to receive a tamper band connected to a top cover. The circumferential recess comprises at least one circumferential protrusion extending in a radial direction into the recess which comprises at least one pillar extending in the radial direction into the recess, tamper band comprises at least one circumferential undercut foreseen to interact in a mounted position with the circumferential protrusion of the circumferential recess. The tamper band comprises at least one notch foreseen to receive at least one pillar arranged in the circumferential recess.
Blender system
A blender for blending ingredients from a container with a fluid includes a bottle including a chamber with an opening to receive the fluid and a shoulder about the opening. The blender further includes a lid configured to couple with the bottle that includes a container receiver. The container receiver is configured to receive the container containing the ingredients and position the container against the shoulder when the lid is coupled to the bottle, wherein the shoulder is configured to have a shape and size to receive and seat the container. The container receiver is further configured to apply pressure to the container while the shoulder holds the container stationary to discharge the ingredients from the container into the chamber.
Blender system
A blender system includes a blender including a bottle having a chamber, and a lid configured to couple with the bottle, the lid having a container receiver. The blender system also includes a container having a nutrient receptacle to receive contents with a closed end, a receptacle opening opposite the closed end, and at least one flap coupled to the nutrient receptacle via a flap hinge and positioned in a closed position to cover a portion of the receptacle opening. The container receiver is configured to position the container such that coupling the lid to the bottle with the container in the container receiver causes the at least one flap to rotate on the flap hinge to an open position to discharge the contents into the blending chamber.
Lid For Container
An insulating container may include an opening, which can be sealed by a closure. The closure may have an upper portion with a handle that has a circular curvature equal to the cylindrical portion of the closure. The closure may also have a lower portion that is joined to the upper portion by an injection molded polymer element. The closure may also be in the form of flip type of closure such that the lid can be selectably opened or closed by the user by rotating a flip closure into either the opened or closed position. The closure may also be a two-part lid having a lower cap that may be configured to be removably-coupled to the container and an upper cap that may be configured to be removably-coupled to the lower cap
Beverage pod
A container includes a receptacle to hold nutrients and other food contents for a smoothie. The container is used with a larger vessel such as a blender into which the capsule is inserted and into which water or other fluid is poured. When the blender is closed, the container opens to release its contents for blending with the fluid into a delicious, healthful smoothie. The container may have a cover with opening flaps and relatively movable elements that pivot the flaps open when opposite forces are applied to the container by the larger vessel.
CLOSURE WITH COVER CAP
The closure (1) has a cover cap (2), which is retractably formed on the closure (1) by means of a hinge (3). On the sides of the closure (1) and the cover cap (2), barbs (12, 27) are formed that yield outwardly, when shutting the cover cap (2) due to bulging of the cover cap (2) transversely to the closing direction. The barbs (12) on the closure (1) thus slide over their outer edge and then engage by elastic reversal of the bulge. The cover cap (2) is then fixed onto the closure (1) in a sealing and secure manner. The cover cap (2), using its front region, rests with its edge (11) on a step (9) on the closure (1). This edge (9) is slidable onto the plane of the step (9) by pressing on the front region in the direction of the hinge (3). This creates a bilateral bulge of the lateral edges (10) of the cover cap (2) so that the barbs (26) on the cover cap (2) disengage from those (12) on the closure (1). Thereafter, the cover cap (10) can then be pivoted open about the hinge (3), by means of persistent pressure on its front region, under elastic reversal of the bulges after releasing the pressure.
Processes for making and using closures having container orifice reducer with tamper evident seal
Containers with closures are disclosed. A closure may include at least a polymer orifice reducer configured to be permanently secured to a rim of an opening of a container and a flexible tamper evident seal disposed on the topside of the orifice reducer. The flexible tamper evident seal, optionally foil, covers one or more openings in the orifice reducer. Processes for permanently securing a closure to a container, optionally by forming a heat seal between the orifice reducer and container rim, are also disclosed.
