Mobile Cooling Box with Latch Handle Opening
A mobile cooling box has a box main body and at least one lid for providing access to the inside of the mobile cooling box. At one side edge the lid is hinged to the box main body so that the lid is pivotable from a closed position to an open position. The mobile cooling box further has a latch handle module for manually locking and unlocking the lid. The latch handle module is integrated in the lid and located at another side edge of the lid. The latch handle module comprises an actuating element that is manually operable by the user, a locking element that is engageable with a corresponding counterpart located at the box main body in order to lock the lid from being opened and a casing, and the latch handle module provides a mechanism for locking and unlocking the lid. According to the mechanism for locking and unlocking the lid the actuating element and the locking element are mechanically connected to each other and, by operating the actuating element by the user, the locking element disengages with the corresponding counterpart located at the box main body and allows opening the lid.
DELIVERED PACKAGE SECURMENT SYSTEM
A secure package delivery system comprises a lockable container configured for securement to a movable door or exterior wall of a building structure. The container includes a walled body and openable lid. A vertically and horizontally adjustable dolly handle assembly is slideably coupled to a rear of the body and operable to form an adjustable gap for receiving a portion of the door to trap and secure the container in place. The handle assembly is lockable in place to the container and in vertical position by a crank mechanism operated via a lever. The container further includes a movable securement aperture in the handle assembly and wall pin which permits securing the container to a wall via operation of handle assembly and crank mechanism. A movable latch operated by the crank mechanism secures the wall pin in the securement aperture to prevent removal of the container.
CONTAINER LID WITH PUSH BUTTON AND LINEARLY TRANSLATING LOCKING MECHANISM
A container lid can include: a body having an opening formed therethrough and a thread pattern formed thereon for mating the container lid to a container; a cap rotatably coupled to the body, the cap configured to rotate between a sealed position in which the cap seals the opening and a released position in which the cap does not seal the opening; a button disposed on the body, the button configured to release the cap from the sealed position, causing rotation of the cap to the released position, upon activation of the button; and a locking mechanism operably coupled to the button, the locking mechanism configured to linearly translate in a horizontal direction with respect to the body between a locked position in which the locking mechanism prevents the activation of the button and an unlocked position in which the locking mechanism allows the activation of the button.
CLOSURE FOR A CONTAINER
A closure (40) for use with a container of a fluent substance includes a body (54) defining an orifice (84) to accommodate flow of a fluent substance from the container. The closure (40) has a lid (56) connected to the body (54) and movable between (i) a closed position occluding the orifice (84), and (ii) an open position spaced from the orifice (84). The closure (40) includes a retainer (60) having a locked position wherein the retainer (60) is engaged with both of the closure body (54) and the lid (56) to prevent the lid (56) from moving into the open position. The retainer 60) has an unlocked position rotated away from the locked position wherein the retainer (60) is disengaged from at least one of the closure body (54) and the lid (56) to permit the lid (56) to move into the open position.
Storage Container with Sealable Opening in Base
A storage container or storage vessel is provided that includes an opening at its bottom or base. A lid element is provided at the bottom or base of the container/vessel that is movably mounted relative to an opening into the enclosed volume of the container/vessel. A clamping mechanism is associated with the body and lid of the container/vessel so as to releasably lock/secure the lid relative to the body. The body of the container/vessel features an aesthetically and/or artistically desirable shape or design that enhances the appeal and uniqueness of the container/vessel. The lid element of the container/vessel functions as the base of the container/vessel, thereby allowing the entirety of the body of the container/vessel (or such percentage as may be selected in a specific embodiment) to be incorporated into the aesthetically/artistically pleasing body design. A child-proof securement mechanism may be provided between the container and the lid element.
Closure device for a screw top vessel
A closure device includes a stopper assembly that provides swing-top closure of a vessel, plus an adaptor so the device can be used with screw-top vessels. The stopper assembly is connected to the adaptor by two connected wires: a bail wire that connects to the stopper assembly, and a lever wire that connects to the adaptor. The inner circumference of the adaptor defines a plurality of vessel threads that engage with the threads defined by the neck of a screw-top vessel. The lever wire is readily removable from the adaptor in order to secure the protruding portions of the lever wire beneath the stop ring of the vessel.
CHILD-RESISTANT CONTAINERS AND PACKAGING
The child-resistant container includes a receptacle having an inner cavity, a lid that selectively couples with the receptacle to enclose the inner cavity when in a locked position, and a lock movable between the locked position securing the lid to the receptacle to substantially prevent access to the inner cavity and an unlocked position permitting the lid to move relative to the receptacle to expose access to the inner cavity. The receptacle and lid combination may include a lid that pivots relative to a container about a hinge and locks thereto by locking catches in the container sidewalls; or may include an outer housing enclosing an inner storage container in slide-in relation, wherein a pair of safety tabs extend from the inner storage container and through the outer housing into a respective pair of locking channels formed therein.
DRINKING CONTAINER WITH PIVOTING CLOSURE
A drinking container comprises a vessel; a cap, atop the vessel; a lid; and a hinge located proximate a rear of the lid and interconnecting the cap to the lid, to allow the lid to pivot on the cap between a closed and open position. A locking tab is at the front of the lid that engages with an inner surface of the cap, to retain the lid in the closed position. A first abutment surface is on the cap and a second abutment surface is on the lid. The first and second abutment surfaces are arranged to contact with each other as the lid is pivoted from the open position to the closed position. Contact of the first and second abutment surfaces urges the lid and the tab forward as the lid is pivoted to the closed position.
