Lid for Container
A lid can include a lid body having an opening and locking projection and a flip cover may include a flip cover flange where the flip cover can be configured to cover the opening. A release mechanism can include a latching mechanism for receiving the flange of the flip cover to secure the flip cover in the closed position. A locking slider may include an arm having a distal end that can be configured to interfere with the locking projection of the lid body to prevent the release mechanism from rotating and releasing the flip cover. The locking slider can be displaced such that the distal end of the arm moves away from the locking projection of the lid body and the release mechanism is permitted to move the latching mechanism away from the flip cover flange and the flip cover can be moved into an open position.
TAMPER-EVIDENT PACKAGING STRUCTURE INCORPORATED INTO A CONTAINER COVER AND AN ASSEMBLY
A container cover comprises two halves that are integrally-molded. The two halves are connected by a common pivot point or hinge that is disposed to one side of each half which allows the halves to be folded over and onto one another. One half is a solid cover or lid structure (the lid) and one half is a ring-like base structure (the base), both of which are intended to be disposed atop a container, with the base in direct contact with the container although the lid and base could be modified the include other engaging structure. The lid is configured to fit with and engage the base via the common hinge or pivot point. Opposite the hinge point of each structure is part of a lock structure that provides the tamper-evident functionality when the lid is folded over and attached to the base.
Flexible Membrane With Valve
The present disclosure pertains to a laminate membrane for sealing an inner compartment in a packaging container comprising a top member and a bottom member. The top and bottom members are laminated sheet materials. The top member has a thickness, a top member first surface and a top member second surface facing the bottom member. The bottom member has a bottom member first surface facing the top member second surface and a bottom member second surface. The laminate membrane is provided with a valve for allowing gas in the inner compartment of the packaging container to exit therefrom. The valve has a valve outer edge and is arranged on the bottom member first surface. The valve is arranged within an opening in the top member such that an opening edge encircles the valve. A surface area of the opening is greater than a surface area of the valve.
Storage container with stopper structure
A storage container includes a container body and a lid that has a first lid portion, a second lid portion, and a hinge portion between the first and second lid portions. Two sides of the hinge portion are formed with a first inclined surface connected to the first lid portion and a second inclined surface connected to the second lid portion, respectively. The first inclined surface is provided with at least one first engaging unit. An outer wall surface of the first engaging unit has a first stopper. The first stopper is parallel to or perpendicular to a horizontal plane of the lid. The second inclined surface is provided with at least one second engaging unit. An inner wall surface of the second engaging unit has a second stopper. The second stopper is perpendicular to or parallel to the horizontal plane, and is perpendicular to the first stopper.
Child resistant container and method of opening same
A child resistant container is for containing at least one product, such as medicine. The child resistant container includes a body, a lid, and a directing portion. The body has an end portion defining an opening leading to an interior of the body. The lid is connected to the body via a hinge, and includes a cover portion and a protrusion extending outwardly therefrom. The cover portion is configured to move between a FIRST position corresponding to the cover portion covering the opening, and a SECOND position corresponding to the cover portion not covering the opening. The directing portion extends from one of the body and the cover portion, and at least partially encloses the protrusion when the cover portion is in the FIRST position. When the cover portion moves from the FIRST position to the SECOND position, the protrusion moves away from the directing portion.
LOW PROFILE LATCH
This invention relates to a latch for selectively binding lower and upper portions of a container. The latch includes a base having a front face, a rear face, a connected end, and a selectively engageable binding end. The rear face further includes an upward hook, a downward hook, and a binding tooth. The latch is characterized in that the upward hook and the downward hook are configured to engage the lower portion of the container and permit both axial and pivotal movement of latch. The axial movement is between an upward position and a low profile position The pivotal movement is about the connected end such that binding end can move between a disengaged and an engaged position.
Sealing Arrangement For Packaging Container
The present disclosure relates to a paperboard packaging container comprising a sealing arrangement comprising a lid and a sealing rim. The packaging container comprises a circumferential lid sealing member applied in the lid. The sealing rim forms a closed loop extending around the container opening. The sealing rim further comprises a first sealing surface arranged at an upper end edge of the sealing rim and is arranged to seal against a second sealing surface constituted by the circumferential lid sealing member when the lid is in a closed position. The sealing arrangement furthermore comprises a frame structure forming a closed loop extending around a periphery of said container opening and is connected to the sealing rim. The lid is connected to the frame structure by a hinge member and a locking arrangement.
CLOSURE FOR A CONTAINER
A closure (40) includes a closure body (54) defining a first latch portion (60) and a lid (56) connected to the body (54) movable between (i) a closed position, and (ii) an open position. The lid includes a flexible, recessed press portion (58) defining a second latch portion (64). The closure body (54) and the lid (56) have (i) a latched configuration with the lid (56) in the closed position wherein the first latch portion (60) and the second latch portion (64) are oriented in a confronting relationship to prevent the lid (56) from moving into its open position, and (ii) an unlatched configuration with the lid (56) in the closed position wherein the recessed press portion (58) is deflected inwardly to move the second latch portion (64) out of the confronting relationship with the first latch portion (60) to permit the lid (56) to move from its closed position.
STORAGE CONTAINER WITH ACCESS PANEL
A storage container has a base with a wall defining an extra opening into an interior volume of the base, and a hinged access panel that is translucent to provide visual access into the interior volume. The hinged access panel is movable between an open position and a closed position, wherein the open position provides physical access into the interior volume through the extra opening and the closed position covers the extra opening.
Drinking container with pivoting closure
A drinking container comprises a vessel; a cap, atop the vessel; a lid; and a hinge located proximate a rear of the lid and interconnecting the cap to the lid, to allow the lid to pivot on the cap between a closed and open position. A locking tab is at the front of the lid that engages with an inner surface of the cap, to retain the lid in the closed position. A first abutment surface is on the cap and a second abutment surface is on the lid. The first and second abutment surfaces are arranged to contact with each other as the lid is pivoted from the open position to the closed position. Contact of the first and second abutment surfaces urges the lid and the tab forward as the lid is pivoted to the closed position.
