BOTTLE WITH HANDLE
The present invention is a bottle with a handle which includes a bottle in which a mouth portion, a shoulder portion, a body portion, and a bottom portion are configured continuously in this order from top to bottom; and a handle. The body portion is provided with a mounting recess which is recessed forward and opened rearward, in a radial direction. The handle is mounted to the mounting recess. An upper peripheral groove extending continuously over an entire length in a circumferential direction is formed in a connecting portion between the shoulder portion and the body portion. A portion of the upper peripheral groove which is located at the same position in the circumferential direction as at least a part of the mounting recess is a shallow groove portion having a groove depth shallower than other portion.
Resin made container
A resin made container includes a spout portion to/from which a cap can be attached/detached, a shoulder portion continuous with the spout portion, a body portion continuous with the shoulder portion and a bottom portion continuous with the body portion and disposed at a lowermost part. A decompression absorption portion provided in form of a recess in the body portion includes a bulging area protruding to the outer side of the container.
PLASTIC CONTAINER HAVING A DEEP-SET INVERTIBLE BASE AND RELATED METHODS
A plastic container comprises an upper portion including a finish defining an opening into the container, a lower portion including a base defining a standing surface, a sidewall extending between the upper portion and the lower portion, the sidewall defining a longitudinal axis, and at least one substantially transversely-oriented pressure panel located in the lower portion. The pressure panel is movable between an outwardly-inclined position and an inwardly-inclined position to compensate for a change of pressure inside the container. The standing surface defines a standing plane, and the entire pressure panel is located between the standing plane and the upper portion of the container when the pressure panel is in the outwardly-inclined position.
SYNTHETIC RESIN BOTTLE
A synthetic resin bottle prevents a trunk from undergoing unsightly deformation in response to reduced pressure inside the bottle and also increases flexibility in terms of container design and secures a label attachment area sufficiently. A synthetic resin bottle includes a mouth, a trunk, and a bottom, with a reduced pressure absorbing region configured to be displaced toward the inside of the bottle in response to reduced pressure inside the bottle. The trunk includes a cylindrical-shaped straight region, which has a length of not less than 100 mm in an axis direction extending along a center axis of the trunk and in which no irregularities are provided. The straight region has a weight of not less than 11 times a weight of the reduced pressure absorbing region.
Lightweight Container Base
A container defining a longitudinal axis and a transverse direction that is transverse with respect to the longitudinal axis. The container includes a finish and a sidewall portion extending from the finish. A plurality of ribs are defined by the sidewall. A base portion extends from the sidewall portion and encloses the sidewall portion to form a volume therein for retaining a commodity. The base portion has a contact surface for supporting the container. A plurality of straps extend radially along the base portion away from the longitudinal axis in the transverse direction, each one of the straps defines a strap surface that is closer to the finish than the contact surface. The plurality of ribs and the base portion are configured to place the container in a state of hydraulic charge-up when top load is applied to the container after the container is filled.
CONTAINER SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A plastic, hot-fillable container is provided. The container comprises a blow molded body defining a longitudinal axis. The body including a base and a neck having at least one rib disposed about at least a portion of a circumference of the neck and transverse to the axis, and at least one angled thread. The at least one rib defining a cross section having a first portion and a second angled portion. Container systems and methods of manufacturing containers are disclosed.
Vacuum absorbing bases for hot-fill containers
A polymeric container including an upper portion defining an opening to an interior volume of the container. A base is movable to accommodate vacuum forces generated within the container, thereby decreasing the volume of the container. A substantially cylindrical sidewall extends between the upper portion and the base. A rigid, central pushup portion of the base is at an axial center of the base. A central longitudinal axis of the container extends through a center of the central pushup portion. A flexible diaphragm of the base extends outward from the central pushup portion.
Container having a mini-petal-shaped bottom with transverse grooves
Container made of plastic material includes a body and a petal-shaped bottom (3) extending the body, the bottom (3) having a bottom wall (4) of general convex shape toward the outside of the container, from which feet (7) formed by protrusions project, separated two by two by portions of the bottom wall (4) forming recessed valleys (12) that extend radially to a periphery (8) of the bottom (3), the bottom (3) also including, in each valley (12), in the vicinity of the periphery (8) of the bottom (3), at least one groove (17, 18) that extends transversely relative to the radial direction of extension of the valley (12).
Container with a collapsible portion
A container has a body portion, a collapsible portion, and an outlet aperture arranged on the collapsible portion, in which the collapsible portion is collapsible from a start configuration in which the outlet aperture is aligned with an axis, to a collapsed configuration in which the outlet aperture is rotated from the axis, in which the collapsible portion has a bracing section which is shaped and configured to support the collapsible portion against collapse when the outlet aperture is subjected to a first force applied in line with the axis, and in which the collapsible portion has a structurally weakened section which is shaped and configured to fail in a non-resilient manner when subjected to a second force applied from an offset angle to the axis.
Method for handling a hot-filled plastic bottle having a deep-set invertible base
