A modular interchangeable vessel system is disclosed, which comprises a flexible and flat-foldable waterproof vessel having a sealed end and an unsealed end disposed distal from the sealed end, the unsealed end having a kayak shaped endpiece sealingly coupled thereto.

Provided is an appliance including a receptacle for a capsule that contains a food substance; a processing unit for processing the food substance into an edible food product; an adapter unit configured for coupling to the capsule and drawing the food substance therefrom; wherein said adapter unit includes an adapter being at an end of a conduit and being configured for coupling with a tube that extends from the capsule's interior, the conduit leading to the processing unit and being linked to a vacuum source for emptying the content of the capsule by drawing the food substance out of the capsule through the tube into the conduit and transferring it through said conduit into the processing unit.

A liquid dispenser (10) for a container of liquid, comprises a spout (12) and a liquid uptake structure (18) aligned to provide liquid to the spout from a container. The liquid uptake structure has first openings (20) radially distributed at the spout end, second openings radially distributed around the container end and a third opening centrally located at the container end. The liquid uptake structure provides an airflow path through the second openings and a principle liquid flow path separate from the airflow path through the third opening, thus separating the two flow paths and providing a smooth pour.

A water bottle is disclosed. The water bottle has a reservoir that defines a space for holding a liquid, wherein the reservoir comprises an open top and a closed bottom. The water bottle also has a lid that is configured to engage with the reservoir over the open top. The water bottle also has a straw, and a pivotable mouthpiece that is attached to the lid and that comprises a fluid conduit that is fluidly connected to the straw.

A container tapping device for use with a container containing liquid contents. The device comprises a proximal end portion, a middle portion, a distal portion and a distal end portion. The proximal portion comprises a proximal surface, a distal surface, and a central bore capable of being in fluid communication with the liquid contents of the container. The middle portion comprises a locking chamber and one or more middle portion orifices, the orifice(s) capable of being in fluid communication with the central bore as well as the liquid contents of the container when the device is engaged with the container. The distal portion comprises a recess in one or more of the faces of the distal portion. The distal end portion comprises a point portion formed by an apex area of the distal portion, the point portion capable of puncturing the container and protruding therein.

The present invention is directed to a straw (1) for the consumption of a liquid or semi-liquid edible product from a package (2) wherein said edible product is contained, said straw comprising a hollow elongated channel (3) having two extremities (4), characterized in that it comprises a coating (6) comprising at least one volatile aromatic product, said coating (6) being adapted to release said volatile aromatic product with the air that is mixed to said liquid or semi-liquid edible product, at the time the latter is sipped through said hollow channel (3).

A dispense surface (12) for a nitrogen containing fluid, e.g. as incorporated into a beverage can (11) containing stout beer. The surface includes a stagnation zone of low pressure regions; and a nanostructured zone to lower the energy to nucleation and promote bubble nucleation out of the nitrogen containing fluid.

A lid for a disposable coffee cup is provided which permits a user to drink from a beverage can, such as a beer or pop can, suspended within the interior of the disposable coffee cup. The lid has an outer rim which engages with the rim of the disposable cup. It also has an inner circular attachment ring attached to the inner surface of the lid which has tabs to grasp the rim of the beverage can and form an upper chamber through which the beverage can flow from the beverage can opening to the lid's drinking aperture. The beverage flows from the beverage can through the lid aperture when the cup is tipped. The user can thereby drink from the beverage can without the user's lips touching the can surface. Also it appears to an observer that the user is drinking from the disposable cup, not the beverage can, and also the beverage can is insulated to keep it cold.

An improved multi-positional lid for a beverage can includes an outer layer and an inner layer, one of which is rotatable around a central point, thus providing various changeable modes for the can. One mode enables the user to drink the beverage through an opening designed for a straw, a second mode provides a larger opening designed for direct consumption, and a third mode enables closure of the lid to protect the contents inside. The multi-positional lid can also include a removable tamper resistant sealing layer for keeping the top of the can clean and providing a tamper resistant mechanism.
