SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND COMPONENTS ASSOCIATED WITH ELECTROCHROMIC PREFORMS
A system for containing electrochromic preforms comprising: a rigid structure defining a compartment; and a vapor barrier disposed within the compartment and adapted to define a selectively sealable internal volume, wherein a plurality of electrochromic preforms are receivable in the internal volume, and wherein the internal volume defines a reference tool for aligning at least one of the plurality of electrochromic preforms. A component adapted to couple with an edge of an electrochromic preform comprising: a body defining an electrochromic preform engagement portion and a tool engagement portion pivotally coupled with the electrochromic preform engagement portion, wherein reducing a dimension of the tool engagement portion increases a corresponding dimension in the electrochromic preform engagement portion.
Transport Containers for Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers
A transport container for transporting a hub and vanes of a fan prior to assembly of the fan includes a body having a floor and defining an interior having a top opening. The transport container also includes a lid that removably covers the top opening. A divider wall is positioned within the interior so that the interior is divided into first and second internal compartments that hold the vanes of the fan. A hub post is positioned within the interior of the body. The hub post has a bottom end portion attached to the floor and a top end portion that is inserted into a central opening of the hub of the fan.
TRANSPORT PALLET AND MESH
It is known to bind items to transport pallets by wrapping them in plastic film. However, this practice is time consuming, expensive and wasteful. It is an object of a preferred form of the invention to go at least some way towards addressing this. In the preferred embodiment there is a pallet containment mesh 2 wrapped around items stacked on a pallet 1, the mesh 2 comprising an upper entrance 4, a tightening mechanism 9 and elasticated ribs 8 extending from the entrance 4 to the pallet 1. The entrance can be tightened by the tightening mechanism to a substantially closed disposition so that items cannot be removed from the pallet and the elasticated ribs provide the stack with a stabilising tension.
Container having multiple layers of dunnage, at least one layer having at least one lockable crossbar assembly
A container for holding product therein during shipment and for reuse has multiple levels of tracks supported by each side of the container. At least one of the tracks on each side may be linear, generally U-shaped and/or L-shaped. Dunnage supports and at least one lockable crossbar assembly travel along corresponding tracks at the same level. At least one lockable crossbar assembly has locking assemblies to fix the position of the lockable crossbar assembly relative to the tracks. Dunnage hangs from at least some of the dunnage supports for supporting products.
Container having at least one lockable crossbar assembly movable along tracks
A container for holding product therein during shipment and being returned for reuse has at least one track supported by each side of the container. The container has dunnage supports extending between corresponding tracks at the same level. At least one lockable crossbar assembly has one or more locking assemblies to fix the position of the lockable crossbar assembly relative to the tracks. Dunnage may hang from the dunnage supports for supporting products during storage or shipment.
CONTAINER FOR METALLIC SCRAP, PARTICULARLY FOR SAFELY STORING AND TRANSPORTING SCRAP OF TITANIUM AND ALLOYS THEREOF
A container for metallic scrap, particularly for safely storing and transporting scrap of titanium and alloys thereof, includes an external container body and a lid. The external container body can be closed hermetically using the lid, defining and delimiting a vacuum chamber. The container includes a vacuum pump, which is adapted to create vacuum in the vacuum chamber.
STORAGE CHEST WITH SECONDARY STORAGE COMPARTMENT
An example storage chest is provided. The example storage chest may include a box portion and a lid. The box portion may include a front wall, a rear wall, and a floor attached to the front and rear walls to form a primary compartment for storage of items. The lid may include a front panel, a rear panel, and a top panel attached to the front a rear panels. The rear panel may be pivotably coupled to the rear wall of the box portion. The front panel, the rear panel, and the top panel may define a secondary compartment within the lid for storage of items. The secondary compartment may include a lid storage compartment comprising a hingedly affixed door.
Offshore Cargo Rack For Use In Transferring Palletized Loads Between A Marine Vessel And An Offshore Platform
A cargo rack for transferring loads between a marine vessel and an offshore marine platform (for example, oil and gas well drilling or production platform) provides a frame having a front, a rear, and upper and lower end portions. The lower end of the frame has a perimeter beam base, a raised floor and a pair of open-ended parallel fork tine tubes or sockets that communicate with the perimeter beam at the front and rear of the frame, preferably being structurally connected (e.g., welded) thereto. Openings in the perimeter beam base align with the forklift tine tubes or sockets. The frame includes a plurality of fixed side walls extending upwardly from the perimeter beam that include at least left and right side walls. A plurality of gates are movably mounted on the frame including a gate at least at the front and at least at the rear of the frame, each gate being movable between open and closed positions, the gates enabling a forklift to place loads on the floor by accessing either the front of the frame or the rear of the frame. Each gate can be pivotally attached to a fixed side wall. The frame has vertically extending positioning beams or lugs that segment the raised floor into a plurality of load-holding positions. Each load holding position has a plurality of positioning beams or lugs that laterally hold a load module (e.g., palletized load) in position once a load is placed on the raised floor.
Clasp for tethering
A clasp or clamp secures a string or rope, such as made from stretch wrap, to an object such as in securing an object to a pallet for shipping. The clasp or clamping device readily secures one end of the string and allows for tightening of the string through pulling a second end of the string through a second portion of the clasp or clamping device. The second end of the string can be tied off or secured on the second portion of the clasp or claiming device. The clasp or clamping device further includes at least two protrusions extending from one of the first end and the second end, the at least two protrusions defining a space there-between. The space between the at least two protrusions includes a narrow portion to impede slippage of the string.
Crating arrangement
A crating arrangement has a pallet, a sleeve, a top board, and a plurality of fastening belts. The pallet has a rectangular shape in a plan view, and has a bottom board, a support board arranged opposite the bottom board across a predetermined distance, and a plurality of beams fixed to the support board and the bottom board. The sleeve is made of a cardboard sheet in a cornered-column shape, and is placed over the pallet to wrap a side surface of a crated object placed on the support board. The top board has a rectangular shape, and is placed on a top end part of the sleeve. With the fastening belts, the pallet and the crated object are fastened together and the pallet, the sleeve, and the top board are fastened together.
