LID ENCLOSING ONE OR MORE SUBSTANCES WHICH CAN BE EASILY INTRODUCED INTO A CUP TO WHICH THE LID MAY BE CONNECTED
Disclosed is a lid which can be reversibly connected to a cup's upper edge, including three openings shaped nearly as circular sectors closed on top by three respective protrusions. Each protrusion includes a flat top section having a surface extension smaller than that of the opening underneath and a side portion shaped to converge towards the top portion starting from the first wall. A second wall is hermetically sealed to the first wall at the three prominences to delimit together with the latter three hermetically closed chambers and in each of which a substance, which can be introduced into the cup when the lid is connected to it, can be preliminarily housed. Alternatively, the lid includes a further opening at its side edge, close on top by a further protrusion higher than the other ones and ends with a through hole to release a beverage in the cup.
DRINK CUP LID
A container includes a cup and a lid. The lid is adapted to mate with a brim included in the cup to close a top aperture opening into an interior liquid-storage region formed in the cup.
METHOD OF INSTALLING SELF-DRILLING, SELF-TAPPING BONE SCREW FOR BICORTICAL PURCHASE
A self-drilling, self-tapping bone screw is described in which the bone screw has a drill tip free of threads and having a length at least as great as about the thickness of a proximal cortical bone layer, with the drill tip having opposed lands and a helical flute between each of the lands with each of the lands having a cutting edge configured to cut bone as the drill tip is rotated into the bone with the flutes conveying the bone debris away from the drill tip, where a lead thread begins to self-tap internal threads in the proximal cortical bone layer after the drill tip has drilled through the proximal cortical bone layer so as to avoid stripping the threads formed in the bone layer. A method of installation is also disclosed.
Stackable tote and lid combination
A stackable tote and lid combination has a lid with a main body and a rim. The rim has a wall with corner bodies, where the wall is spaced apart from a major surface. Each corner body has an upper surface with three outer side surfaces. Each first outer side surface is attached to a respective second outer side surface and each second outer side surface is attached to a respective third outer side surface. Each first, second, and third outer side surface is positioned between and connected to the upper surface of the respective corner body and the major surface of the main body. As a result, each first, second, and third outer side surface of respective corner bodies is configured to abut a hollow body of the stackable tote at three respective internal contact areas, and to removably hold the stackable tote.
CONTAINER AND CAP HAVING TAMPER-EVIDENT MEMBER
A container includes a container body with a projection and a cap with a cover member, an inner member, and an outer member. The inner member is threadably engaged to the neck of the container body and is supported for movement between a first threaded position and a second threaded position relative to the container body. The outer member depends from the cover member and extends at least partly about the inner member and an axis. The outer member includes a tamper-evident member that includes an abutment member configured to engage with the projection to limit movement of the cap from the first threaded position to the second threaded position. Also, the tamper-evident member is permanently deformable to disengage the projection and allow movement of the cap from the first threaded position to the second threaded position.
STORAGE CONTAINER SYSTEMS INCLUDING CONTAINERS AND CORRESPONDING LIDS
A container system includes a container having a plurality of sidewalls and a rim extending from the sidewalls at a top of the container. The rim of the container includes a first sealing part and a second sealing part. Parts of the rim extend along arcs as viewed from above the container. The container system also includes a lid for sealing the container, with the lid having a rim that includes a first sealing part that is configured to contact the first sealing part of the rim of the container to form a first sealing area, and a second sealing part that is configured to contact the second sealing part of the rim of the container to form a second sealing area. Parts of the rim of the lid extend along arcs as viewed from above the lid. The container may be tightly sealed by the lid.
Disposable Cup Lid
A two-part disposable, stackable and recloseable lid for a container holding a beverage. The lid has a dome configuration for higher volume beverages. The lid has a drinking aperture and an a moveable arm with a plug to seal the drinking aperture. The lid has a recess for storing the plug end of the arm when the drinking aperture is being used.
Lid for beverage containers
Lids for a container having an external peripheral rim at the upper end thereof, the lid comprising a top wall; a peripheral skirt depending downward from the top wall and having a bottom-most edge larger in diameter than the rim of the container and an inside surface with a locking mechanism disposed between the bottom-most edge and the top wall and being adapted to receive and engage the rim; and a plurality of slots defined in skirt extending upward from the bottom-most edge to divide the skirt into individually resiliently flexible skirt portions.
Magnetic food storage system
The magnetic food storage is formed from a container and a lid, each with one or more embedded magnets. The magnets interact with each other to hold the containers to each other, hold lids to containers, and hold lids to lids. The magnets are preferably molded inside of the lid and inside the container, the magnets being surrounded by material. This avoids any contact between stored food and the magnets, thus preventing contamination.
