BEVERAGE CONTAINER CLOSURE
A beverage container closure or lid that is adapted for closing an open end of a beverage container. The lid is selectively couplable to the beverage container and includes a selectively openable stopper that when closed, creates a fluid-tight seal between the beverage container and the environment. The stopper may be selectively opened by a user by the user pressing a button disposed on a side of the beverage container closure. The stopper is subsequently automatically closed when the user releases the button. Thus, a user may open and close the beverage container closure using a single hand without the need to remove the beverage container closure from the beverage container.
Closure and lid and method of forming closure and lid
An example lid assembly can include a lid and a slider. The lid can include a wall defining a recess. The slider can be configured to slide in the recess and can be configured to move between a closed position where the slider covers the opening to aid in preventing spilling of contents of the container and an opened position where the slider uncovers the opening such that the contents of the container can be consumed. The slider can be configured to be removable from the lid and can be replaced back on the lid. Additionally, the slider can be configured to lock into place on the recess in both the closed position and the opened position.
Lid having circumferential rim with plurality of ribs
A lid for securing to the brim of a container, the lid including a container closure having a disk shaped member with a periphery for mating with the brim of the container. The periphery includes annular inner and outer side walls with at least one annular rib disposed on each of the inner and outer side walls. The ribs of the annular walls form a gripping area to secure the lid to the container for preventing leaks and accidental spillage. A top wall interconnects the inner and outer side walls and includes visual cues for viewing the brim of the container when the lid is affixed to the brim. The lid additionally includes a pronounced wedge shaped sipping spout projecting upwards from the container closure. The container closure includes a circular indented channel for stacking one lid covered cup over another with additional stability provided by the sipping spout.
Pressurized Beverage Container with a Portion Having a Function Associated with Immersion in a Beverage
A pressurized beverage container comprising a receptacle with an internal area, an opening and a lid covering said opening, in which said lid comprises a releasable section which is manually movable from a sealed position in which it forms a functional covering part of said lid, to an open position in which it is displaced from a remainder of said lid such that an aperture is formed in said lid, in which said lid comprises a tail part, in which said tail position is movably associated with said releasable section such that during at least part of said manual movement of said releasable section from said sealed position to said open position said tail part travels inwardly into said internal area, and in which said tail part comprises a function associated with immersion in a beverage.
Cups and containers with a living hinge and sleeves
The present invention is directed to containers for holding non-food items having a living hinge and a quad or multi seal structure on the lid such that the seal created by the contact of the lid with the inside of the cup or container ensures a secure, friction fit orientation to prevent spillage or leakage of the contents therein. The quad or multi directional seal is created by multiple ribs on the lid that securably fit within the base of the container and indentations oriented in the bases, or by multiple ribs on the lid that securably fit within a channel structure in the top of the base of the container, the channel structure having the indentations in order to create a secure fit.
Lid and method of using a lid
The present disclosure relates to a lid and a method of using a lid. The lid includes a body having a top surface, a bottom surface, and a perimeter. The lid also includes a sealing member carried by the perimeter of the body. The sealing member is configured to move between a first position and a second position. The method of using the lid includes the step of positioning the lid with the sealing member in a second position above an open end of a container. The method further includes the step of securing the lid and the container together by moving the sealing member from the second position to a first position to cause engagement of the sealing member with the container thereby forming a removable attachment and a substantial seal between the lid and the container.
BEVERAGE FILTERING SYSTEM
A beverage filtering device wherein flavoring solids, such as coffee, tea, or herbs, are infused or brewed with fluids and then a finished beverage is filtered from the flavoring solids using a system of nested cups. The nested cups are pressed together during filtration to create a compact form that can then also serve as a beverage cup or beverage serving device.
Improvements for Containers and Covers
A device and system that can perform bi-directional gas and fluid communication, thereby preventing the accidental spill and splash of sloshing liquids through the sip-hole orifice of a liquid container and/or the sip-hole orifice of its lid, but that still allows liquid to flow through the sip-hole. This is achieved by cutting into the sip-hole, extending the sip-hole and creating a tubular flow-path or labyrinth flow-path that can channel and direct the flow of liquid into a controlled and desired flow and rate via an inlet configured to do so, and by adding a removable plug. These elements help to buffer and deflect sloshing liquid thereby minimizing or preventing the accidental release of liquid, and in many cases improving the purposeful flow of liquid back into the container.
Lid For Container
A lid for covering a container has a lid body having a peripheral connection for connecting to the container, a first hole in the lid body, the first body having a first shape, a second hole in the lid body, the second hole having a second shape that is different from the first shape, and a slidable cover member that slides in a groove formed in the lid body between a covered position and an uncovered position to selectively cover and uncover the first hole. The lid includes a pivoting plug that pivots in a space between the ramps between a plugged position and an unplugged position to selectively plug the second hole.
Liquid cooling container lid assembly
A liquid container orifice assembly, lid assembly, and unibody lid construction enable a user to outfit particularized liquid containers for enabling lid-based liquid-pooling or compartmentalization and heat transfer from lid-pooled or lid-compartmentalized liquid prior to liquid egression from a lid-outfitted liquid container prior to liquid consumption. All embodiments provide liquid re-directing or damming structures that operate to control the delivery of hot liquid for promoting heat loss from re-directed liquid flows. Certain structures cooperate with existing art to minimize leakage problems associated therewith. Other structures operate to particularly shape parceled liquid volumes for effecting rapid heat transfers therefrom. Still other structures harness material-philic properties of liquids for further effecting rapid heat transfers and liquid directional control mechanisms. Combinations of the various structural features here noted are also contemplated throughout the following specifications.
