LOCKABLE BEVERAGE CONTAINER CLOSURE
A beverage container closure or lid that is adapted for closing an open end of a beverage container is provided. The lid is selectively couplable to the beverage container and includes a selectively openable cover that, when closed, creates a fluid-tight seal between the beverage container and the environment. The lid is provided with a dual-locking mechanism including an actuation disk locking mechanism and a press-button locking mechanism. Each locking mechanism is operable to transition between a locking position and an unlocking position and opening the cover to permit the passage of fluid requires that both locking mechanism be in their respective unlocking positions.
Drink lid for a cup
A recloseable lid for closing an open top of a cup terminating in an annular upper edge includes a cup mount defining an annular channel configured to receive the annular upper edge of the cup and a cap having an annular side wall extending upwardly from the cup mount and terminating in a top having an annular floor spaced above the cup mount. A drink opening is disposed in the top and a plug assembly having a drink opening plug is provided. The drink opening plug can be selectively moveable between a closed position in which the drink opening plug is received within the drink opening for closing the drink opening and an open position in which the drink opening plug is not disposed within the drink opening. The lid can also include a plug retainer disposed in the cap and configured to retain the drink opening plug in the open position.

The drink container lid is preferably designed to allow a user to locate the opening in the drink container lid using their sense of feel with their bottom lip, allowing a user to drink liquid from a drink container with a lid more easily and potentially without having to look at the drink container, while at the same time allowing the user to properly align the opening in the drink container lid with their mouth to avoid spilling any of the contents of the container. The drink container lid may, however, be used for any suitable purpose.
LID FOR A CUP
A lid for a cup for beverages may include an annular lid bottom part, which can be placed on an upper cup edge, and a substantially circular lid disk. The lid bottom part and lid disk may be made of paper and may be connected in a liquid-tight manner along an edge groove pointing downwards in the direction of the cup and along an edge flange. The edge flange may point upwards in the opposite direction and may be inserted in the edge groove.
