Snap cap in multi-component injection molding technology
A cover includes a bistable flap mechanism made of a plastic with at least two material components. The cover can be produced in one piece in a multi-component injection molding technique. At a transitional area between a front wall and an edge portion, the plastic is sufficiently stiff (preferably due to greater material thickness) to ensure that an angle enclosed in the transitional area from the side wall to the edge portion remains constant in both bistable states. Expansion portions provided in the edge portion ensure that the outer circumference of the edge portion can increase/decrease from one bistable state to the other bistable state. A closing system including the cover is also provided.
Container for produce storage, packing and transport
A tamper evident food container is provided. The container comprises a base hingedly connected to a lid. The lid includes an outer raised portion having an integrally connected inner recessed portion formed therein, wherein the inner recessed portion includes a peelable flap portion partially detachable from the inner recessed portion for lifting the peelable flap upwardly from the inner recessed portion; an upper flange extending perpendicularly outward from a perimeter of the lid and having a connecting member located between extending latching portions extending outwardly from the upper flange and adapted for being received in the two latch receiving openings; and a tab connected to the peelable flap portion on a first end and detachably connected to the connecting member on a second end, where the tab is configured for pushing inward to detach the second end from the connecting member allowing the peelable flap portion to be lifted upwardly.
Cup lid
A cup lid may comprise a main body having a cup edge at an outer periphery thereof. An upper surface of the main body has a cover comprising a concave upper surface, and a first end and a second end are respectively formed at two opposed edges of the concave upper surface at corresponding positions. A concave sip portion formed adjacent to the first end, and a plane surface is formed at a bottom portion of the sip portion. A flippable sealing member extends from the plane surface, and a sip-through opening is formed overlapped with the sealing member. A month-contact portion is formed adjacent to the first end, and a height difference formed between the month-contact portion and the sip-through opening is configured to prevent the overflow of beverage when drinking.
Stackable display containers
Disclosed are display containers (e.g., for packaging food items). Certain embodiments of the container are stackable and include a cover portion of the container having a non-flat presentation surface, and one or more stacking recesses defined between the non-flat presentation surface and at least one of the one or more cover body sides. A base portion of the container can include a mating surface shaped to mate with a portion of the non-flat presentation surface when stacked on a corresponding bottom container such that an inside of the corresponding bottom container can be viewed through the non-flat presentation surface of the bottom container. The base body can include one or more stacking feet extending from the base body and configured to insert into the one or more stacking recesses when stacked on the cover portion of the corresponding bottom container such that the one or more stacking feet engage the cover portion.
Locking lid and container assembly
A container assembly maximizes lid-to-container retention or prevents inadvertent removal of a lid from a container, and includes a container and a lid. The container includes an upper rim and a container wall. The container wall includes a seam and a primary indentation. The indentation traverses the seam at an inner container surface in parallel relation to the rim. The lid comprising a rim-receiving groove, a lid wall, and a wall-to-groove resilient portion. The resilient portion extends intermediate the lid wall and the rim-receiving groove and is resiliently actuable intermediate a relaxed configuration and an actuated configuration. The resilient portion has at least one indentation-engaging portion. The rim-receiving groove receives the upper container rim, and the indentation-engaging portion engages indentation when in the actuated configuration. The rim-receiving groove and the indentation-engaging portion together lock the container lid to the container when in the actuated configuration for cooperatively maximizing lid-to-container retention.
SMOKING DEVICE
A smoking device comprising: a drinking mug, the drinking mug comprising: an inner wall; an internal chamber abutting the inner wall; an outer wall abutting the internal chamber; a volume configured to hold liquids for drinking by a user, the volume defined by the inner wall; a reservoir member located on the outer wall, extending away from the outer wall and extending away from the volume, where the internal chamber extends into the reservoir member, and where the reservoir member forms a reservoir on the reservoir member top surface, the reservoir configured to hold a product to be smoked; a mug handle attached to the side of the drinking mug, where the internal chamber extends into the mug handle; an intake hole located in the reservoir, and in fluid communication with the internal chamber; an outlet hole located on the mug handle, and in fluid communication with the internal chamber. A smoking device comprising: a drinking mug, the drinking mug comprising: an inner wall; an internal chamber abutting the inner wall; an outer wall abutting the internal chamber; a volume configured to hold liquids for drinking by a user, the volume defined by the inner wall; a reservoir member located on the outer wall, extending away from the outer wall and extending away from the volume, where the internal chamber extends into the reservoir member, and where the reservoir member forms a reservoir on the reservoir member top surface, the reservoir configured to hold a product to be smoked; an intake hole located in the reservoir, and in fluid communication with the internal chamber; an outlet hole located on the drinking mug, and in fluid communication with the internal chamber.
One piece container and lid
A one piece container including a body defining a receptacle and a lid connected to the body with a hinge. The lid includes a flange extending from an inner surface of the lid. The lid is movable between an open position thereby permitting access to the receptacle, and a closed position thereby restricting access to the receptacle. In the closed position, the flange of the lid extends into the receptacle to form a seal between a curved outer surface of the flange and a smooth inner surface of the body. The one piece container is formed as a single unit and may include a desiccant in the body or lid.
Packaging container with rim and lid
A paperboard packaging container for bulk solids includes a container body having a container wall extending from a container bottom edge to a container body opening and having an inner surface facing an inner compartment in the packaging container, and a lid for closing the container body opening. An upper reinforcing rim is applied at the container body opening and extends along the opening edge, defining a perimeter of a container access opening and is joined to the inner surface of the container wall by means of a weld seal which extends around the container body opening and has an upper edge including a first abutment surface arranged to abut against a second abutment surface on an inner lid surface with the lid in a closed position on the container access opening and form a tight seal between the rim and the lid with the lid in the closed position.
