NATURE NET
Various indoor/outdoor nature net configurations are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, an indoor/outdoor nature net enclosure may include an upper section, a lower section, and a middle section. The middle section may extend between the upper section and the lower section to define an interior space. The middle section may include a two-way zipper that extends from the upper section to the lower section. Some net enclosures disclosed herein may be used in connection with a wire frame. The wire frame may be configured to be positioned in the interior space and to support the net enclosure. In some embodiments, the wire frame may include a plurality of vertical members and a plurality of horizontal members.
Systems and methods for automated control of animal training and discrimination learning
Monitoring systems and methods for tracking movement of one or more animals in an enclosure, such as a fish tank, include introducing various stimuli, such as food, light, and auditory stimuli, and tracking the movement of the animals in response to these stimuli. Movement patterns of the animals can be determined and analyzed from data obtain from cameras that record images/videos of the relevant portions of the enclosure.
Electronic gas dispenser control system having backflow and pressure sensors
An electronic gas dispenser control system having backflow and pressure sensors is described.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING A HABITAT ENVIRONMENT
A system is provided for controlling an aquatic habitat. The system for includes a server, a bridge, and a habitat component. The server includes a database containing information associated with a habitat component. The server also includes a communication interface for transmitting operating data for the habitat component. The bridge has a first communication unit configured to communicate with the server communication interface and transmit the operating data received from the server to the habitat component. The habitat component has a second communication unit for receiving operating data from the bridge.
Aquarium device
A device for keeping jellyfish and other plankton in an aquarium having a drain and a pump, the device having a panel; a first sprayer connectable to the pump and coupled to the panel at a first position, the first sprayer having a plurality of channels or holes for generating a plurality of water streams; and a second sprayer connectable to the pump and coupled to the panel at a second position, the second sprayer having a plurality of channels or holes for generating a plurality of water streams; wherein the insert is configured so that the first sprayer and the second sprayer create a rotating current within the aquarium.
TERRARIUM AND RELATED METHOD OF USE
A terrarium including a base, a support column, a top, and one or more panels with a closure is provided. The base can include a base channel, and the top can include a top channel. The top can be supported by the support column above the base. A panel can extend between the top and the base, being disposed in the top channel and the base channel, and forming an opening. Another panel can form a closure over the opening, with that panel optionally slidable to selectively access an internal compartment of the terrarium. A floater projection can be included on the closure panel and can engage a support rim on the base channel so as to support the panel and reduce friction of the panel moving relative to the base channel, for example, by supporting the panel above a channel bottom wall. Related methods of use are provided.
SYSTEMS, APPARATUSES, AND METHODS FOR HIGH-THROUGHPUT SCREENING OF DROSOPHILA ADDICTION PHENOTYPES
Systems, apparatuses, and methods for analyzing conditioned cue preference in an animal such as a fruit fly are described.
Beverage Dispensing System
Embodiments are described of a beverage dispensing system configured to give the illusion it dispenses aquarium water.
Decorative Stand Assembly
A decorative stand assembly for combining a terrarium, an aquarium and a waterfall includes a terrarium for housing plant life. The terrarium has a plurality of first windows therein for viewing an interior of the terrarium. A waterfall housing is positioned on the terrarium and the waterfall housing has a plurality of second windows for viewing an interior of the waterfall housing. A pump is positioned within the waterfall housing to pump a fluid into the waterfall housing for simulating a waterfall. An aquarium is coupled to the waterfall housing to house fish.
AN AQUAPONICS SYSTEM
A self-contained closed aquaponics system comprises an aquarium tank attached side-by-side to a water container for growing plants, having a shared side. An electrically powered water pump streams the water from the aquarium tank via a pipe to the bottom of a compartment in the water container. When the water in the water tank exceeds a pre-set water level, the water are poured back to the aquarium tank via a recess or slit in the shared side. The compartment may comprise a bio-filter that is a sponge filter, a foam cartridge filter and the undergravel filter. The aquarium tank or the water container may be rectangular or cuboid shaped. A cover adapted to cover the water container may include multiple openings for mounting plants in pot nets therein, where roots of the plants are fed from the fish excretions in the aquarium tank after being filtered by the bio-filter.
