INSPECTION SYSTEM
An inspection system having a conveyor which conveys a plurality of articles; a feed screw which is disposed along the conveyor and which sets the interval between the plurality of articles to be greater than or equal to a predetermined interval; and an inspection device which inspects each of the plurality of articles spaced apart from each other at a constant interval by the feed screw.
Sorting system and corresponding method
The present disclosure concerns a method for sorting items transported along a conveyance direction on an item carrier of a sorting system, the item carrier comprising a charging zone, a first detection zone, an item orientation-changing zone, a second detection zone and a sorting zone, the method comprising sequentially: loading the items on the item carrier in the charging zone; capturing a first image of the items in the first detection zone; changing an orientation of the items in the item orientation-changing zone, located downstream of the first detection zone; capturing a second image of the items in the second detection zone, located downstream of the first detection zone; identifying nonstandard items amongst the items from information derived from the first and second images; and isolating the identified nonstandard items in the sorting zone. It also concerns a corresponding sorting system.

DEVICE FOR ALIGNING PRODUCTS, MORE PARTICULARLY FOR FORMING ROWS AND/OR GROUPS OF THE PRODUCTS
The invention is based on a device for aligning products (14), more particularly products moved by means of a transport device (12), more particularly to form rows and/or groups of the products (14) running transverse to a main transport direction (16) of the transport device (12), having at least one aligning unit (18) having at least one alignment element (20, 22, 24) that can be introduced into a gap that exists, more particularly along the main transport direction (16), between at least two of the products (14) in order to align the products (14), and having at least one straightening drive unit (26), more particularly a linear drive unit, at least to drive the at least one alignment element (20, 22, 24), said straightening drive unit having at least one movement element (28, 30, 32) that can be driven in an individually speed—and/or position-controlled manner, on which movement element the at least one alignment element (20, 22, 24; 20, 22, 24) is arranged. The invention proposes that the at least one alignment unit (20, 22, 24) can be actively moved relative to the at least one movement element (28, 30, 32) by means of an interaction with an activation unit (40) of the alignment unit (18), said activation unit more particularly having a different design from a further movement element (34, 36, 38) of the alignment drive unit (26), or that the alignment unit is arranged in an at least substantially non-movable manner on the at least one movement element (28, 30, 32).

Vibration separator system for conveying and separating meat pieces
The present invention relates to a method and a vibration separator system for conveying and separating meat pieces and comprising a frame assembly having support columns, a supporting screen box being supported by the frame assembly on elastic suspension elements mounted between the frame assembly and the supporting screen box, a supply trough having an outlet and serving to receive the meat pieces, a vibration motor and a controller. The vibration motor is supported by and connected to the supporting screen box for reciprocating the supporting screen box. The controller is connected to the vibration motor for controlling the reciprocating movement of the supporting screen box. The supporting screen box comprises a first conveying sector for alignment of the meat pieces into a single row and a second conveying sector comprising a chicane for elongating the conveying path of travel as compared to the first conveying sector.

SINGULATION CONVEYOR SYSTEM WITH ROLLERS OF DIFFERENT ROLLER CROSS-SECTIONAL PROFILES
A singulation conveyor is described. The singulation conveyor includes multiple rollers, for example, a first roller and a second roller. In some example embodiments, the first roller can be of a first roller cross-sectional profile and the second roller can be of a second roller cross-sectional profile. The first roller cross-sectional profile can be defined by a sleeve mounted around a circumference of the first roller and a dowel positioned between the sleeve and the first roller. Further, in some examples, the first roller cross-sectional profile can be different from the second roller cross-sectional profile. Furthermore, according to some examples, the first roller and the second roller can be configured to be rotated based on a first rotation pattern and a second rotation pattern respectively, to cause singulation of a shingled item.

ALIGNMENT DEVICE FOR A CONVEYOR
An article conveying system includes an alignment guide that allows larger packages to be spaced inwards from an aligning edge of a conveyor. The alignment guide provides at least two different registration points for packages, depending on the height of the packages. High profile packages, such as large boxes, are inset from an alignment edge of the conveyor, while low profile articles, such as envelopes, are registered against the alignment edge.
