Multipurpose compostable absorption mat
A multipurpose compostable absorption mat serves to receive and encapsulate organic matter for compostable disintegration of the mat and organic matter simultaneously. The mat comprises at least three portions: a first portion facing the organic matter defined by a parchment paper or parchment-like material having multiple pinholes or other openings or porosity sized and dimensioned to enable passage of greases and/or liquids; a second portion outboard of the first portion defined by a deliquescent material, and is able to absorb the greases and/or liquids from the first portion through a capillary mechanism; and a third portion outboard of the second portion defined by an impermeable plant/corn starch-based plastic-like material. The third portion looks and feels like plastic film. The at least three portions of the mat may be formed as at least three discrete layers, with the three discrete layers attached to one another so as to form the mat, with the mat having a thickness in the range from about that of a sheet of paper or a paper towel or a napkin to about ? or more.
Smart livewell system
A livewell system comprises a tank for holding water and aquatic life. A scale measures a weight of the tank and any contents of the tank. At least one sensor determines a property of the water in the tank. A pump pumps water into the tank. A controller is provided in signal communication with the scale, the at least one sensor, and the pump. The controller controls the pump based on information from the scale and the at least one sensor. A kit for a livewell system on a marine vessel, including a scale and a measurement module in signal communication with a controller, is also provided.

Method of controlling culture water temperature in a water tank for aquarium fish and a culture water thermostat using a plurality of peltier elements
A peltier device comprises peltier elements specified in cooling or heating temperature, a heating heat sink connected in contact on one side surface of the peltier element, a chilling heat sink connected in contact on the other side surface of the peltier element, and a cooling fan. Using peltier elements each of which is specified in a cooling or a heating activity, a heat exchange efficiency is enhanced thank to a plurality of functions of a single peltier element; thermal radiation is separated by bringing the peltier element into contact with a heating heat sink and a cooling heat sink independently from each other; the surface area in contact with the fluid is maximized through the X shaped aperture formed with four wings protruding from the inner surface of the aperture towards the center part, directly transferring the endothermic and exothermic effects from the Peltier element to the fluid.
Well and service vessel for transport and storage of aquatic organisms
An arrangement, a system and a method relating to a well boat- and service vessel (1) for transporting or storing fish or other aquatic organisms. There are provided, inter alia, a well boat- and service vessel (1) that includes a self-floating, exchangeable well unit (2), a propulsion unit (3), wherein the propulsion unit includes propulsion elements (4), steering and positioning elements, a dock (5) for the well unit, positioning and attachment elements for positioning and securing the well unit (2) in the dock (5).

Livewell system and methods of use
Disclosed are livewell systems and methods of operating livewell systems. A livewell system may include a livewell tank having a chamber formed therein, a fill sensor configured to detect a fill level of the chamber, an intake pump configured to selectively convey water into the chamber, and a control unit including a processor and a memory storing instructions. The processor may be configured to execute the instructions to receive a fill signal, determine whether the chamber is filled to a predetermined fill level; and in response to the fill signal and a determination that the chamber is not filled to the predetermined fill level, cause the intake pump to convey water into the chamber.

Bait container insert, bait bucket divider
A device that is inserted within a bait container or typical five (5) gallon bucket to subdivide said container or bucket into two (2) compartments. Additionally, the insert will allow water to flow through it and provide any bait oxygenated water in the newly created compartments from one (1) oxygen source (aerator).
