An egg grasp device is provided. Such a device includes a body and a plurality of elongated members extending from the body. The elongated members are interlaced to form a sheath capable of retaining an egg. The sheath has a distal end and a proximal end at which the elongated members are operably engaged with the body. The elongated members cooperate to define an opening at the distal end through which an egg is received when the elongated members engage and deflect about an egg such that the egg is seated within the sheath. Associated systems and methods are also provided.

A method for operating a gripper includes determining a first transport attachment of a plurality of transport attachments to use for moving a piece good and determining whether the first transport attachment is fixed in a first gripping jaw of the gripper, wherein the gripper includes a drop table having at least one storage and dispensing end face; the first gripping jaw and a second gripping jaw each arranged above the drop table and fastened to a gripping jaw guide arrangement, wherein the first gripping jaw has a gripper coupler at an end portion opposite the gripping jaw guide arrangement; and a transport attachment of the plurality of transport attachments with an attachment coupler, wherein the gripper coupler and the attachment coupler interact with one another so that the transport attachment is releasably fixed at the end portion of the first gripping jaw. Robotic method for loading cases
The invention relates to a robotic method for loading cases on a packaging line from cases contained in a closed parallelepiped container and wherein it is proceeded with the loading of the packaging line, after opening of the container (Ca) by: /d/ insertion of a first jaw (30) of the clamp between the first face (F1) of the container and the first case (Et1) of the row of cases and, insertion of a second jaw (31) of the clamp between the last case (Etd) of the row of cases and the second face (F2) of the container, and approach of the jaws until seizing up the row of cases, /e/ piloting of the robotic arm so as to extract the row of cases from the container grasped by the motor-driven clamp (3) and load the packaging line (Lg) with the row of cases.
CONTAINER PALLETIZING SYSTEM
A system and method for automated palletization of totes and cuboid containers includes an end effector having fingers projecting outwardly. The fingers may engage recesses in the totes. Alternatively, actuators on fixed fingers can move gripping surfaces into engagement with the totes or containers. Or actuators on a body of the end effector can move the fingers, which include gripping surfaces.
WORKPIECE TRANSFERRING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE SAME
A workpiece transferring device is a device to transfer a workpiece from a first placement surface to a second placement surface. The device includes a first arm including, at a tip thereof, a first fork having a first branch part extending sideward, and configured to move the first fork, and a second arm including, at a tip thereof, a second fork having a second branch part extending downward, and configured to move the second fork. When the first branch part passes in between the workpiece and the first placement surface, the second branch part is located ahead of the workpiece in a moving direction of the first branch part. When the first branch part passes in between the workpiece and the second placement surface, the second branch part is located ahead of the workpiece in the moving direction of the first branch part.

A transport vehicle for transporting a transportation-target object to a placement location that is provided at a lower position, includes: a supporting portion configured to support the transportation-target object; a lifting/lowering portion configured to lift and lower the transportation-target object in a suspended state; and a weight detecting portion configured to detect a weight of the transportation-target object, wherein a lowering speed of the transportation-target object is increased after a detection value that is detected by the weight detecting portion while the transportation-target object is being lowered by the lifting/lowering portion in a state where the transportation-target object is supported by the supporting portion has become smaller than or equal to a first set value, and thereafter, the supporting of the transportation-target object by the supporting portion is canceled after the suspending of the transportation-target object by the lifting/lowering portion has been canceled.
