Egg grasp device having interlaced members, and associated systems and methods
An egg grasp device is provided. Such a device includes a body and a plurality of elongated members extending from the body. The elongated members are interlaced to form a sheath capable of retaining an egg. The sheath has a distal end and a proximal end at which the elongated members are operably engaged with the body. The elongated members cooperate to define an opening at the distal end through which an egg is received when the elongated members engage and deflect about an egg such that the egg is seated within the sheath. Associated systems and methods are also provided.
PACKAGING EQUIPMENT AND SYSTEMS
A packaging system includes a first transfer station to receive a plurality of products thereon, a staging station comprising a track and a plurality of shuttle members configured to move along a path defined by the track, and a second transfer station comprising a robotic arm coupled to a plurality of gripping members. The plurality of gripping members can be configured to pick up the plurality of products from one or more of the plurality of shuttle members.
MANIPULATION HEAD FOR OBJECTS
A seizing head (125) for objects (P) is described, comprising: a support frame (130) adapted to be coupled to a manipulator robot (115), and a plurality of picking apparatuses (215) arranged mutually flanked according to a predefined flanking direction and individually adapted to take and withhold at least one object (P), wherein each picking apparatus (215) is installed on a respective mobile frame (165), which is slidably coupled to the support frame (130) according to a sliding direction (B) parallel to the flanking direction, and wherein the seizing head (125) further comprises a plurality of functionally independent activation devices (195), each of which is adapted to activate a respective mobile frame (165) along said sliding direction (B).
Equipment front end modules including multiple aligners, assemblies, and methods
An equipment front end module may include an equipment front end module body forming an equipment front end module chamber. The equipment front end module body may include plurality of walls. One or more load locks or process chambers may be coupled to one or more first walls. One or more load ports may be provided in one or more second walls, wherein each of the one or more load ports are configured to dock a substrate carrier. A plurality of alignment pedestals may be housed within the equipment front end module chamber. A load/unload robot may be at least partially housed within the equipment front end module chamber, wherein the load/unload robot may include a plurality of blades. Other apparatus and methods are disclosed.

Method and apparatus used to handle non-upright articles of an article stream under prevention of disturbances
The invention includes a method (100) and an apparatus to handle irregularly conveyed and/or irregularly aligned and/or non-upright articles of an article stream under prevention of disturbances. The method (100) comprises the following steps: identifying at least one non-upright article in an article stream as an error; performing a correction step to resolve the error, the correction step comprising removal from the article stream of the at least one irregularly aligned article, or transfer to an upright orientation of the at least one irregularly aligned article, with a defined action being exerted temporally before and/or in temporal overlap with the correction step upon the at least one irregularly aligned article or upon regularly conveyed articles of the article stream.
Apparatus And Methods For Transferring Continuously Moving Articles To Continuously Moving Packages With Intervening Article Grouping And Group Pitch Adjustment
Packaging apparatus and methods include a plurality of article grippers driven by independently controlled motors in an end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), for picking articles, grouping articles, adjusting group pitch and placing article groups in packages where incoming articles and packages are continuously or intermittently moving and without motion of the entire EOAT in the direction in which articles and packages are picked and moved. Hole healing and incoming product registration apparatus and methods are disclosed.
METHOD FOR TRANSPORTING A BLISTER STRIP OF OPHTHALMIC LENSES INTO AN AUTOCLAVE MAGAZINE
A method for transporting a blister strip of ophthalmic lenses: only one single blister strip is provided at a start location and one magazine compartment of two magazine compartments contains n blister strips while the other magazine compartment contains n+1 blister strips, the single buster strip is picked up at the start location by one of the gripper units of a first gripper and is transported into that magazine compartment containing the n blister strips, by moving the first gripper to that magazine compartment containing the n blister strips and releasing the single blister strip from the first gripper into that magazine compartment, or by moving the first gripper to a hand-over station and releasing the single blister strip from the first gripper into the hand-over station, transporting the single blister strip from the hand-over station into that magazine compartment containing the n blister strips using a second gripper.
Substrate processing apparatus, transfer module, and coupling module
A first processing module includes a first specified processing unit and a first delivery part. A substrate supply part is on a first direction side of the first processing module. A transfer module is on a second direction side on the opposite of the first processing module from the first direction. The transfer module includes a frame, a first floor, a second floor, and a gateway. The frame defines a placement space in which a first transfer apparatus of the transfer module is placed. A first transfer apparatus is installed on the first floor. The second floor is on a third direction side, which is a horizontal direction orthogonal to the first direction, with respect to the first floor inside the placement space. The gateway is provided on the third direction side with respect to the second floor and communicates the placement space to the outside of the frame.
VEHICLE SERVICING APPARATUS AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
Apparatus for use in robotic servicing of a vehicle has a frame defining a bay for receiving a laterally positioned vehicle and a hallway longitudinally adjacent the bay, the hallway accommodating a mobile robotic servicing sub-system. A wheeled chassis underlies and supports the frame with the top of the chassis providing a floor of the bay and the hallway. A deck is located above the bay and an automated robotic system is used to pick the component from the deck, move a component along the frame, and to lower the component into the hallway for release to and pickup by the mobile robotic servicing sub-system to enable servicing with the component of the vehicle by the mobile robotic servicing sub-system.
