Fluid transport using inductive heating
Aspects and embodiments of systems for fluid transportation using inductive heating are described. In one embodiment, the system includes a first transportation pipe having a first diameter and a second transportation pipe having a second diameter. The first diameter is greater than the second diameter. An augur that causes a fluid flow is within the first transportation pipe. A control circuit is electrically coupled to the first inductive element and the second inductive element, and to a power supply to inductively heat the first transportation pipe and the second transportation pipe.
Metering system for solid particulate
An improved particulate handling system is provided. The system includes a plurality of particulate storage areas and a plurality of types of particulate. Each type of particulate can be housed in a separate particulate storage area. Separate particulate conveyors are in operable communication with each of the particulate storage areas. Separate drive systems can be in operable control of the each of the particulate conveyors. The particulate conveyors convey particulate into an air flow path. The separate drive systems can be operated independently and/or at varied speeds.

Method for operating a delivery apparatus, and delivery apparatus
The invention relates to a method and to a delivery apparatus for carrying out the method, wherein the delivery apparatus comprises an eccentric screw pump having a rotor-stator unit with an outlet, a drive unit, a control device and a delivery section, and wherein the delivery apparatus comprises at least one pressure sensor and a characteristic-variable detection device.
SYSTEM FOR CONVEYING PASTY MATERIAL
A system for conveying pasty material through a conduit has an eccentric screw pump having a stator, a rotor that rotates in the stator, a housing with an intake port, and an output port connected to the conduit. A drive rotates the rotor and thereby draws the pasty material in through the intake port and expels the drawn-in material as a compressed-material strand into the conduit. A valve supplies gas pulses to the conduit at time intervals for separating the compressed-material strand into material plugs of limited length traveling through the conduit.

Systems and methods for providing feed material to a pressurized system
Methods and systems for transferring feed materials between zones having substantially different pressures, where the transfer can be continuous or semi-continuous. The methods and systems include a plurality of lock hoppers to receive feed material from a low pressure zone and pressurize it with fluid to a pressure of a high pressure zone. The pressurized material can be discharged to a circulation loop, which carries the pressurized material to one or more receiving unit(s) of a pressurized system. At least some feed material remains in the receiving unit(s) and at least a portion of the fluid exits to become part of the circulation loop. After discharge, the lock hoppers can be depressurized so the next pressurization cycle can begin with additional feed material. The lock hoppers can be operated in a time-staggered manner to provide continuous or semi-continuous transfer of material.
U reclaimer utility device apparatus
The present invention is a new apparatus to efficiently reclaim cement from a horizontal warehouse. This new reclaiming apparatus combines a mechanical cement reclaiming machine, a U Reclaimer Utility Device Apparatus, together with a reduced amount of open air slides, cement is pushed by a rotating chain with rakes on said reclaiming machine, cement is further fluidized through a porous media with low pressure air, cement flow is achieved by sloping said air slides to match the fluidized angle of repose of the powdered material. Further, the present invention introduces a conveying system, composed by a cascade of enclosed air slides and elevator machines, to convey the cement from the reclaiming area to the dispatch hopper. The introduction of these components, together with traditional cement stacking methods and dispatch systems, provides for a highly efficient manner of storing and reclaiming material from a horizontal storage facility.

Rapid pretreatment
Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and compositions for the pretreatment of biomass within seconds with low inhibitor formation. The pretreatment process is used to convert biomass to a fuel or other useful chemicals by subjecting the feedstock to a rapid retention time under pressure and temperature and/or chemical reactant. The system includes a continuously-operating valve discharge apparatus to discharge pretreated feedstock while maintaining uniform pressure on the pretreatment system.
