Continuous production system and continuous production method
A continuous production system continuously produces a product from a raw material powder. The system includes a first processor that performs a first process on the raw material powder, a second processor that performs a second process on the powder on which the first process has been performed by the first processor, and a test chamber through which the powder being sent from the first processor to the second processor passes. A cleaner blows gas from an inlet side opening formed in the inner face of a channel connected to the test chamber from the first processor on the downstream side of an inlet side gate valve for opening and closing the channel toward a direction to form a swirling flow along the inner face of the channel.
Feeding membrane for gravel blower
A deformable feeding membrane for an apparatus that pneumatically conveys solid or semi-solid materials, e.g., gravel or crushed rock. The deformable feeding membrane includes a tubular portion adjacent an inlet feed auger. The sidewalls of the tubular portion includes sidewalls that are outwardly deformable, so that gravel or rocks that might otherwise become pinched or stuck between an inner sidewall of the feeding membrane tube and a flyte of a screw auger can pass through the membrane tube, with sufficient space provided by the deflection of the feeding membrane tube wall. In an embodiment, the tubular portion may be provided sufficiently elastic so that the flexible tubular sidewall may be operably displaced a distance delta (), wherein the distance delta () may be at least as large as the thickness of the sidewalls of the tubular portion.
Feed hose for feeding connecting elements to a processing unit
In order to ensure a reliable automated feed of connecting elements to a processing unit, an apparatus, in particular an industrial robot, is provided. The apparatus has a hose pack, in which a feed hose for connecting elements is contained as a supply line. In order to ensure reliable operation and kink protection of the feed hose, the latter is formed from an inner hose which is embedded in a over-molded hose jacket. This measure permits the integration of the feed hose into the hose pack without problems. In addition, the risk of the feed hose kinking is kept small.

A powder supply device 1 includes a powder feed pipe, at least part of which is an expansion/contraction part, a load cell, a pressure indicator, and a controller, wherein the controller obtains a powder weight or a rate of change in powder weight in the feed tank by using a value obtained by subtracting a value proportional to the pressure in the expansion/contraction part from the load applied by the feed tank to the load cell and adding a value proportional to a rate of change in pressure in the expansion/contraction part, and controls the flow rate of the powder to be fed to the outside of the feed tank by using the powder weight or the rate of change in powder weight.
