FISHING LURE TROLLING SPREADER BAR
20180360013 · 2018-12-20 ·

A keel attached to a central body of trolling spreader bar is configurable with a plurality of fishing lures as an assembly to mimic a small school of fish or a dredge/umbrella rig. The keel is angled to urge the lure assembly continually to one side or the other from what would be the normal straight line of travel of a trolling vessel. By attaching an angled keel directly to the lure/spreader bar one is able to easily set lines behind the vessel at varying angles and distances which greatly increase the width of the full trolling lure spread.

Inline deep sea fishing teaser apparatus

An inline deep sea fishing teaser apparatus, having a winch assembly with at least one handle assembly and teaser line. Also having a holder assembly, a teaser assembly, and a rod holder assembly. The winch assembly has a gear assembly allowing for a free spool mode for ease in deploying a teaser secured to the teaser line, and a return mode for retrieving the teaser. The teaser assembly has a depth gauge with an indicator and at least one depth guide to approximate a depth the teaser secured to the teaser line is deployed to by measuring an angle of the teaser line. The holder assembly is inserted into a fishing rod holder positioned on a stern or gunwales of a vessel. The fishing line is approximately inline with the teaser line when both the fishing line and the teaser line are deployed while trolling the vessel.

Fixed bar dredge with improved core assembly
10130086 · 2018-11-20 ·

A fixed bar luring dredge comprising a high-strength core member tubular in form and assembled to hold a plurality of spreader bars extending through and attached to the core member in a fixed radial pattern with each spreader bar being disposed in a separate and distinct plane to enhance the strength and support of the spreader bar members in trolling. Each spreader bar is sized to pass transversely through a pair of opposed openings in the wall of the tubular core member and is secured therein with a respective crimp sleeve at each opening. Separate swivel fittings with rotatable sections formed to fit longitudinally within of the core member are positioned partially inside the chamber of the core member at opposite ends thereof, each of the swivel fittings having a respective transverse opening formed therein that serves to engage one of the spreader bars passing through the core member and thereby hold the respective swivel fitting in place. The spreader bars are each provided with a plurality of dropper fasteners fitted along the outer length of each bar for suspending a respective number of luring strips bearing selected baitfish images designed to attract game fish while trolling.

Trolling diver
10117425 · 2018-11-06 ·

A trolling diver has a release arm which is hingedly connected to a plate. Mounted to the plate is a catch assembly. The catch assembly secures the release arm in a loose manner, between a first panel and a second panel, until triggered by a fish bite. A thru-hole of the release arm receives a first and second retaining member. The retaining members are loosely positioned into the thru-hole, allowing for the plate to realistically flop about within the catch assembly. The release arm is released from the catch assembly when a lure is triggered by a fish strike, resulting in the release arm rotating away from the catch assembly. The outboard lure attachment hole increases leverage and decreases the requisite force to trigger the release arm. Once released, the entire diver pulls thru the water with very little friction, allowing for easy retrieval of a hooked fish.
