IMPROVED ROW CLEANER AND ROW CLOSER ASSEMBLIES FOR STRIP TILL PLANTERS
A row cleaner connected to a strip till machine and adapted to clear mulch and other debris encountered in strip or low till planting. A row cleaner frame assembly comprising: a pair of row cleaner arms and a pair of clearing wheels configured to have a toe-in alignment; wherein the pair of row cleaner arms share a common plane and are pivotally connected at a pair of pivot points common or close to the rotational axis of a cutting disc; wherein the cutting disc is disposed intermediate the pair of row cleaner arms; and wherein the row cleaner arms are configured to maintain the clearing wheels in a close-proximity to the cutting disc to provide stretch and cut row clearing operation with a biasing actuator for adjustability. An actuator pivotally adjusts the row cleaner assembly relative to the cutting disc. A pivot limiter restricts pivotal travel of the row cleaner to avoid damage to the actuator. A row closing section is provided and includes a lever adapted to adjust toe and/or camber of a closing wheel.

Mulching machine
A mulching machine comprising a machine body that includes a tilling unit performing tilling, a ridge forming unit forming a ridge with the tilled soil, a mulch film laying unit drawing a mulch film from a film roll and laying it over the ridge, and ground wheels supporting the machine body. The tilling unit and the ridge forming unit are arranged in this order from the front in the traveling direction of the mulching machine, and the film roll is positioned such that its center of gravity does not overlap the ground wheels and is located forward of the ground wheels in the traveling direction.

Rolling harrow
The present invention relates to a rolling harrow, and in particular to a rolling harrow with replaceable attachments. The harrow has a shaft upon which several spindles are supported. Central spindles have two flanges, one of which is on either end of the spindle. Each flange preferably has sixteen holes equally spaced about the perimeter. A lip protruded beyond each flange. Two end spindles are provided, one on each end of the shaft. The end spindles have one flange with sixteen equally spaced perimeter holes and an end spindle lip that protrude beyond the flange. Junctions are formed where two lips abut each other. At each junction, attachments are removably connected to two spaced flanges. The attachments connect to two of the perimeter holes. Attachments, between successive junctions, can be rotationally offset.
System and method for residue detection and implement control
A residue detection and implement control system and method are disclosed for an agricultural implement. The system includes a source of environment data and image data of an imaged area of a crop field containing residue. The system includes a data store containing a plurality of image processing methods and at least one controller that processes the image data according to one or more image processing instruction sets. The controller selects one or more of the image processing methods based on the environment data, and processes the image data using the selected image processing instruction(s) to determine a value corresponding to residue coverage in the imaged area of the field. The controller adjusts the configuration of the agricultural implement to respond to the amount and type of residue detected.
System and method for automatically estimating and adjusting crop residue parameters as a tillage operation is being performed
A method for estimating and adjusting crop residue parameters may include controlling an operation of a tillage implement as the implement is being towed by a work vehicle across the field to perform a tillage operation and receiving a pre-tilled image of an imaged portion of the field located to one side of a first section of the field as the implement is being towed across the first section of the field. The method may also include receiving a post-tilled image of the imaged portion of the field as the implement is being towed across the field, analyzing the pre-tilled and post-tilled images of the imaged portion of the field to estimate a crop residue parameter for the field, and, when the estimated parameter differs from a target associated with such parameter, actively adjusting the operation of the tillage implement in a manner designed to adjust the crop residue parameter.
Mollusc farming machine
A mollusc farming machine deploys a tillage assembly connected by a support frame to a vehicle platform. The vehicle platform enables the user to mechanically traverse the tillage assembly across an aquaculture harvesting area, digging into the earth of the harvesting area in order to harvest clams and other molluscs. An agitating mechanism causes reciprocal motion of the tillage assembly in order to break up the aquaculture earth as a tilling section of the tillage assembly is displaced at an angle through the earth, forcing the earth and any buried molluscs onto the tillage section. The agitating motion further serves to sift the earth by causing dirt, plant matter and other debris to fall through spaces between a plurality of sifting rods of the tilling section, leaving behind any molluscs previously buried within the earth to be collected by workers.

Articulated component braking system
An air seeder cart has a fill auger pivotally mounted to the frame of the air seeder cart and moveable to position the fill auger for filling seed hoppers. The swivel joint for the air seeder has a brake assembly biased by a spring to prevent movement in the absence of an input. A remotely positioned lever and cable assembly unlock the brake assembly for movement to a new position upon an operator input to the lever.
