A paper post-processing device includes: a base tray 112 configured to stack paper transferred from an image-forming device; a paper transferring unit including a paper gripper configured to grip a rear end of a paper bundle stacked on the base tray 112, a paper transferring unit configured to transfer the paper gripper; and a stacker tray 103 configured to stack paper transferred from the paper transferring unit, wherein the paper gripper includes an ejector 202 to be fixed, and a gripper 106 rotatably configured about a predetermined angle to the ejector 202, and the paper gripper is configured to grip the several sheets of paper by the ejector 202 and the gripper 106, further including a grip release unit configured to release a grip by the ejector 202 and the gripper 106.
PAPER SHEET HANDLING APPARATUS
A paper sheet handling apparatus (banknote handling apparatus 100) includes: a housing 12; a transport path forming member 711 disposed inside the housing and configured to form a transport path that transports paper sheets while sandwiching each paper sheet in a direction of the thickness of the paper sheet; and a handing unit (non-bundling stacker module 54) disposed at a predetermined position inside the housing. When jamming of paper sheets occurs in the middle of the transport path, the transport path forming member is displaced so as to open the transport path, in a state where the inside of the housing is opened by an opening and closing unit being opened. The handling unit disposed adjacent to the transport path is movable from the predetermined position so as to form a space that allows the transport path forming member to be displaced.
System and apparatus for print media manufacturing buffering and sorting, and corresponding method thereof
Apparatuses, systems, and methods are described for providing a multiple process workflow. The system includes a first process device configured to convey at least a portion of a printed element and an apparatus. The apparatus includes a storage section, an input section configured to receive the at least a portion of the printed element, a gripper configured to selectively transport the at least a portion of the printed element from the input section to the storage section and to selectively transport the at least a portion of the printed element from the storage section, and an output section configured to selectively transfer the at least a portion of the printed element from the storage section. The system further includes a second process device configured to perform at least one operation on the at least a portion of the printed element.
SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
To enable highly accurate fold processing by properly moving a sheet that has been subjected to fold processing. In a sheet processing apparatus that that performs fold processing in such a manner as to apply first fold processing to a sheet and then apply second fold processing at a position different from a fold line formed in the first fold processing so as to make one end of the sheet folded in the first fold processing lie inside the folded sheet, the first fold processing is applied to a sheet conveyed to an intermediate tray by a fold roller pair and, when a regulating stopper is moved to move the folded sheet that has been subjected to the first fold processing to a predetermined position of the intermediate tray, the folded sheet is gripped by a grip unit.
Paper sheet processing apparatus
A paper sheet S is intermittently transported by a transport mechanism 6 and each processing unit 7, 8 operates while the transport mechanism pauses the transport operation. An information acquisition unit 9 obtains paper information from the paper sheet. A control unit 10 stores the paper information of the paper sheet to be processed for each processing unit, updates the data of the memory in a manner such that the paper information of the paper sheet associated with the previous processing unit is associated with the next processing unit every time the transport mechanism transports, and configures the settings of each processing unit for the next processing operation based on the paper information every time the processing operation of the processing unit is completed.

Device for moving a stack of products using a robot equipped gripper
A device for moving a stack of products using a robot. The robot has an articulated arm and a first gripper for the stack of products. The first gripper is disposed on the articulated arm. A gripping device is disposed on the articulated arm, the gripping device contains the first gripper and a second gripper, the first and second grippers are positionable relative to one another. Robot advantageously provides a method of moving stacks of products in an automated way and in particular of depositing them in a turned or unturned arrangement.
Medium aligning apparatus, medium processing apparatus, and recording system
A medium aligning apparatus includes a load tray including a load surface on which a medium discharged from a discharge member that discharges a medium is loaded, a first aligning surface that aligns a plurality of mediums loaded on the load tray by positioning rear ends of the mediums, and a second aligning surface that aligns the mediums by positioning the rear ends of the mediums loaded on the load tray. In the medium aligning apparatus, the first aligning surface and the second aligning surface are switchable, and an angle formed between a wall surface in the discharge tray that receives the mediums discharged from the load tray, the wall surface having the rear ends of the mediums come in contact therewith, and the second aligning surface is smaller than an angle formed between the wall surface and the first aligning surface.
SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS
A sheet processing apparatus for processing sheets includes: a stack tray on which a sheet is stacked; a discharge roller pair composed of first and second rollers and configured to discharge a sheet onto the stack tray, the second roller being configured to be movable between a pressure contact position to contact with the first roller and a retracting position to separate from the first roller; and a pressure contact/separation mechanism for moving the second roller from the retracting position to the pressure contact position. The pressure contact/separation mechanism changes the timing at which the second roller reaches the pressure contact position according to the type of a sheet to be discharged.
Carton stack divider and method for dividing a stack
A divider for dividing a pack of flat-folded cartons into a plurality of stacks of flat-folded cartons, the divider comprising a magazine adapted to hold the carton pack, where the magazine includes a stop member, and where the divider includes a pusher member and a holder foot, where the magazine is arranged in an inclined position, where the pusher member is adapted to compress the carton pack between the pusher member and the stop member, where the holder foot is adapted to bear on the upper side of the compressed carton pack, and where the pusher member is adapted to release the pressure on the carton pack when the holder foot bears on the upper side of the carton pack, thereby creating a low density area adjacent a first carton stack.
