SHEET SAFEKEEPING APPARATUS AND IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS
A sheet safekeeping apparatus comprises a multistage tray in which a plurality of housing sections for accommodating sheets is arranged in a first direction, a removal port through which the accommodated sheet is taken out being formed in each of the plurality of the housing sections, and a cover configured for to close the removal port in an openable manner being provided in each of the plurality of the housing sections; a support section configured to support the multistage tray; a tray displacement unit configured to displace the multistage tray in the first direction with the support section; a conveyance unit configured to convey a sheet to the plurality of the housing sections; and a cover displacement unit configured to displace the cover of one housing section determined by an operation of the tray displacement unit among the plurality of the housing sections to open the removal port.
Page registration system
A page registration system may include, in an example, a media edge sensor to detect a location of an edge of a print media along a media feed path and in a direction non-parallel to the media feed path and a calibration sensor downstream of the media edge sensor to detect changes in the location of the edge of the print media in the direction non-parallel to the media feed path, and provide calibration data to the page registration system to correct changes in the location of the edge of the print media in the direction non-parallel to the media feed path.
Paper Sheet Processing Device
Provided is a paper sheet processing device in which a plurality of paper sheets stacked after processing can be easily taken out in a state where ends thereof are aligned, without binding the paper sheets. The paper sheet processing device includes a stacking unit 6 that stacks therein the paper sheets after being processed by a processing unit 4. The stacking unit 6 includes a stacking unit main body 7, and a storage box 9 that can be taken in and out of a box storage space 7a of the stacking unit main body 7.
Media output system
A printing device includes, in one example, a media output system including a mezzanine level including a plurality of media support members, the mezzanine level being intermediate to a floor level and a media output level; wherein the plurality of media support members move orthogonally relative to a print media path so that a number of finishing processes may be performed on print media accumulated on the number of media support members.
APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING STACK OF SHEET-SHAPED ELECTRODES
A sheet-shaped electrode conveyance device (A) for conveying the sheet-shaped electrodes (1) to the stacking station is covered by the sealing walls (50). The inside of the sealing walls (50) is divided along the conveyance route of the sheet-shaped electrode (1) by the partitions (57, 58, 59, and 60) into the inside space regions (Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4, and Z5). Dry air is supplied to the inside space regions (Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4, Z5). If there is an abnormal sheet-shaped electrode (1) inside any of the inside space regions (Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4, Z5), the conveyor plates (20) other than the conveyor plate (20) carrying the abnormal sheet-shaped electrode (1) are retracted to the inside space regions other than the inside space region where the abnormal sheet-shaped electrode (1) is present.
Paper Sheet Stacking Apparatus and Image Forming System
A paper sheet stacking apparatus, includes: a first tray that stacks a paper sheet; a sheet discharger that discharges a paper sheet supplied from the outside of the apparatus to the first tray; a second tray that receives the paper sheet stacked on the first tray and discharges the received paper sheet to the outside of the apparatus; and a hardware processor that controls operation states of the first tray and the second tray, wherein the first tray and the second tray have: a first operation state in which the first tray is positioned at a paper sheet stacking position; a second operation state in which the paper sheet stacked on the first tray is deliverable to the second tray; and a third operation state in which the first tray that has delivered the paper sheet to the second tray is returned to the paper sheet stacking position.

A stacking apparatus for loading a recording medium output from an image forming apparatus includes a movable tray that is ejectable to an outside of the stacking apparatus after the recording medium output from the image forming apparatus is stacked on the movable tray, and a hardware processor that controls a position of the movable tray based on a current position of the movable tray and a setting condition for determining control content of the movable tray, wherein the hardware processor stores the movable tray inside the stacking apparatus, when the movable tray is currently positioned on the outside of the stacking apparatus and the setting condition satisfies a storage condition for executing storage control for moving the movable tray from the outside to an inside of the stacking apparatus so as to store the movable tray inside the stacking apparatus.

A medium transporting apparatus including a transport belt that transports a medium while suctioning the medium against a transport surface, a first tray on which the medium transported with the transport belt is mounted, and a transport roller configured to move between a transporting position that nips the medium with the transport belt, and a retracted position that is a position distanced away from the transport belt with respect to the transporting position, in which the transport roller is positioned at the retracted position when a single medium is transported with the transport belt and is positioned at the transporting position when a plurality of mediums in a superposed state are transported with the transport belt.

A medium discharging device includes a first tray, a second tray receiving a medium from the first tray, a supporter which is configured to be displaced from a retreat position in the first tray and an advance position above the second tray and which supports the medium, an aligner which is provided in the supporter and that aligns a first end portion which is an upstream end portion in a discharge direction of the medium supported by the supporter, to be displaced together with the supporter, and a restrictor configured to be displaced between a restriction position where an upstream movement of the first end portion of the medium in a position of the aligner in the discharge direction and a non-restriction position where the movement is not restricted, when the supporter is in the advance position.
LATERAL TRANSLATION OF AN OUTPUT BIN BASED ON MEDIA STACK HEIGHT
According to examples, a printing apparatus may include an output bin that is laterally translatable between a retracted position and an extended position. The printing apparatus may also include a sensor to detect a height of a stack of media on the output bin while the output bin is in the retracted position and a controller. The controller may determine whether the detected height of the stack of media on the output bin exceeds a certain level and in response to a determination that the detected height of the stack of media exceeds the certain level, laterally translate the output bin from the retracted position to the extended position.
