TAPE DISPENSER HAVING TWO SIDED CUTTER BLADE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A tape dispenser has a cutter or cutting blade that has at least two rows of teeth opposite each other relative to the cutter or cutting blade. The blade is to be installed on the tape dispenser in any of at least two orientations. By installing the blade in any of at least two orientations, at least one row of teeth will always project from the dispensing end to cut adhesive tape as it is unwound from a roll after being dispensed. This type of blade permits an easier manufacturing ability by reducing or eliminating the need to ensure proper alignment of the teeth to project outwardly from the tape dispenser housing.
TAPE APPLICATOR AND METHOD OF USING TAPE APPLICATOR
A tape applicator for an adhesive tape includes a cutting head. The cutting head includes a base surface and a cutting blade, the cutting blade having a blade base where the cutting blade intersects with and extends from the base surface, and the cutting blade having a cutting edge. The tape applicator further includes a Y-axis extending from a midpoint of the blade base, a longitudinal blade axis extending from the midpoint to a center point of the cutting edge, and a first angle greater than 0 degrees between the Y-axis and the longitudinal blade axis. The tape applicator includes a Z-axis tangent to the base surface, and parallel to the blade base, a cutting edge axis passing through the center point and tangent to the cutting edge, and a second angle less than 80 degrees between the Z-axis and the cutting edge axis.
STRAP PULLING DEVICE AND PULLING METHOD
The disclosure provides a strap pulling device, the strap pulling device comprises a cutter mechanism, a first strap pulling mechanism and a second strap pulling mechanism. The first strap pulling mechanism and the second strap pulling mechanism are configured to alternately clamp a strap at a pulling position located upstream of a cutting position and pull the strap to a transfer position located downstream the cutting position. When the first strap pulling mechanism pulls the clamped strap to the transfer position, the second strap pulling mechanism clamps the strap at the pulling position, the cutter mechanism cuts the strap at the cutting position to acquire a strap segment. When the second strap pulling mechanism pulls the clamped strap to the transfer position, the first strap pulling mechanism clamps the strap at the pulling position, the cutter mechanism cuts the strap at the cutting position to acquire a strap segment.
CONTROLS FOR PAPER, SHEET, AND BOX MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS
Systems for providing efficient manufacturing of sheet or box structures, corrugate sheets, or other products of varying size and structure often with pre-applied print (“pre-print”) are provided herein. The systems include various features and modules that enable automated control of the corrugator, including the knives, slitters, scorers and cut-to-mark detection system(s), are contemplated. Colored markings may be used to indicate an order change section between two order sections of a roll plan for the manufacturing process. The colored markings are detected as the corrugator runs and, once detected, a controller determines a next set of order instructions—e.g., to match the upcoming order. Thus, an order change may occur, thereby enabling automated control of the corrugator based on the new order instructions. Computer readable markings may enable checking of the actual position in the roll plan to an intended position, enabling stopping or changing of the corrugator operation if needed.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR A ROBOTIC TAPE APPLICATOR
A system comprising: a source of a tape comprising a material associated with an adhesive and at least one removable liner; an applicator head; a cutting mechanism; at least one drive feeding mechanism configured to index the tape from the source to the applicator head at a controlled rate; wherein the applicator head is controllable to apply the material on a surface or a substrate; and wherein the applicator head comprises a cutting mechanism configured to sever the material while leaving the at least one removable liner intact.
REMOTE FEEDING SYSTEM
A feeding system configured to transport a material to a tape applicator, the feeding system comprising: a flexible conduit coupled between a spool unloading device and a tape applicator, wherein the flexible conduit receives the material from a source; and a fluid amplifier coupled to the flexible conduit to facilitate movement of the material therein by creating a vacuum effect.
BEVERAGE BOTTLING DEVICE FOR THE HANDLING OF BEVERAGE BOTTLES AND SIMILAR CONTAINERS IN A BEVERAGE BOTTLING PLANT
A beverage container handling machine, such as a beverage container filling machine or a beverage container closing machine, is used to handle beverage bottles, cans, and similar containers, which containers are configured to hold or contain a beverage, such as water, soft drinks, beer, wine, and juices, or a similar product for transport and consumption by consumers of beverages and similar products.
Rolled web material feed assembly
A feed assembly for dispensing rolled web material from a bulk roll of material and that includes a feed drum and a pair of pinch rollers that cooperate with the feed drum. The feed drum and pinch rollers are oriented and constructed to mitigate jamming and/or undesired displacement of the web material as it progresses through the feed assembly. Preferably, a drum guard is disposed between the pinch rollers and is constructed to further mitigate undesired translation of the web material relative to the feed assembly during dispense operations.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR NOTCHING ELECTRODE SHEET
Discussed is an apparatus for notching an electrode sheet, the apparatus including a transfer unit having first and second transfer rollers provided on a bottom surface of the electrode sheet to transfer the electrode sheet at regular intervals, a jig unit provided below the electrode sheet, and supporting the bottom surface of the non-coating portion and a notching unit provided above the electrode sheet to notch the non-coating portion supported on the jig unit to provide the electrode tab, wherein the jig unit includes a rotation member provided between the first and second transfer rollers and rotated in a direction perpendicular to a transfer direction of the electrode sheet, two or more jigs provided on an outer circumferential surface of the rotation member to alternately support the non-coating portion disposed between the first and second transfer rollers when the rotation member is rotated.
Part packing system and method
A part packing system for packing a part in an elongated bag includes a bag holding machine including a first bag gripper mechanism, a second bag gripper mechanism, and an air nozzle. The first bag gripper mechanism is configured to hold a first end of the elongated bag. The first bag gripper mechanism opens the first end of the elongated bag. The second bag gripper mechanism is configured to hold a second end of the elongated bag. The second bag gripper mechanism closes the second end of the elongated bag. The air nozzle is located proximate to the first bag gripper mechanism. The air nozzle is configured to inflate the elongated bag with an airflow directed into the first end of the elongated bag. The first bag gripper mechanism holds the inflated elongated bag with the first end open to receive the part in the open first end while the air nozzle directs the airflow into the elongated bag.
