TEXTILE MACHINE PRODUCING CROSS-WOUND PACKAGES

A textile machine for producing cross-wound packages, comprising a plurality of workstations, each of which has at least one pneumatic consumer, and comprising a suction system which has at least one vacuum source to which the pneumatic consumers of the workstations are connected via a machine-length vacuum duct arranged in the region of the central axis between two rows of workstations. In order to modify such a textile machine producing cross-wound packages in such a way that it is ensured that the required minimum spinning vacuum is always available at all workstations of the textile machine during spinning operation, according to the invention the textile machine producing cross-wound packages has, in addition to the vacuum duct, a machine-length bypass duct which is also installed in the region of the central axis and is arranged above chain ducts for service units.

The invention relates to a method for operating a textile machine (1), in particular a textile machine (1) producing cross-wound bobbins, most particularly an open-end spinning machine, comprising a plurality of identical workstations (2), wherein, during a normal operation of the workstations (2), yarn is produced or rewound from a supply bobbin onto a receiving bobbin with the aid of the workstations (2), and wherein a plurality of workstations (2), after a stoppage of these workstations (2), is started and therefore, set into the normal operating mode. According to the invention, it is provided that the plurality of workstations (2) is divided into groups (7) of workstations (2) and the groups (7) of workstations (2) are started at different times. Moreover, the invention relates to a textile machine (1), in particular a textile machine (1) producing cross-wound bobbins, most particularly an open-end spinning machine, comprising a plurality of identical workstations (2) for producing yarn or for rewinding yarn from a supply bobbin onto a receiving bobbin, wherein the textile machine (1) comprises control means or is operatively connected to control means, which are designed for operating the textile machine (1) according to the preceding description.

Method for operating a textile machine with work stations having their own handling elements for piecing of a thread, and a textile machine with own work stations having their own handling elements

A method is provided for operating a textile machine, with a multiple number of adjacent work stations having a respective spinning unit with a spinning device and/or one winding device and handling elements for piecing a thread or for connecting two thread ends. If production is interrupted, a thread end on the bobbin side is provided to a defined receiving position at the work station. For piecing the thread or for connecting the thread ends, the thread end on the bobbin is cut to length by the work station work elements, received from the receiving position, prepared for piecing or for connecting and pieced up or connected. A thread end wound on the bobbin is sought out by means of a thread seeking device deliverable to multiple work stations of the textile machine, and the thread end is subsequently moved into the receiving position at the work station, from which it is received by the work station work element of the work station, in particular by a handling element of its own work station. A corresponding textile machine is also provided.
