Arthropod trapping device
An insert for an arthropod trapping device. The insert comprising a substrate and a frame for supporting the substrate, where a surface of the substrate has an adhesive disposed thereon, an optional mounting bracket spaced apart from the adhesive surface of the insert and located at a first end of the insert, and an optional graspable tab extending from the frame at a second end of the insert.
METHOD OF TRAPPING ARTHROPODS
Disclosed herein is a method of trapping arthropods by providing a substantially planar, flexible insert having a LED-facing surface having an adhesive for trapping the arthropods disposed thereon. Then, bending the insert into a curved configuration and inserting the insert into an arthropod trapping device. The device includes a housing having a base and a curved shade. The curved shade is configured to receive the insert and comprises a LED-facing surface. A first LED having a peak wavelength of from about 400 nm to about 500 nm is mounted on the base and is configured to emit light in a direction substantially perpendicular to the LED-facing surface of the shade. A second LED having a peak wavelength of from about 350 nm to about 400 nm is mounted on the base and is configured to emit light in a direction substantially parallel to the LED-facing surface of the shade.
Cockroach bait station
The cockroach bait station is an eradication system that is adapted for use with cockroaches. The cockroach bait station is comprises a bait and a bait station. The bait is a high energy, and therefore highly attractive, bait source that is laced with a poison that is known to be effective in: 1) limiting the future activities of cockroaches after ingestion; and, 2) is readily shared and transferred within a community of cockroaches.
COMPUTER INTELLIGENT IMAGING-BASED SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATIC PEST IDENTIFICATION AND PEST-CATCHING MONITORING
A computer intelligent imaging-based system for automatic pest identification and pest-catching monitoring, including a pest-catching device, an imaging lens, an imaging control module, a power supply device, a data transmission module, a cloud data server, a pest identification module, a terminal control module and a data display module; the invention records the pest conditions and transmits the data to the cloud data server and the data display module, and further transmits the data to the terminal control module and the pest identification module to realize analysis, identification and remote monitoring of the species and quantity of the pests. It only takes only 6 minutes for 1 person to finish the works for 100 pest-catching devices and get through the steps of filing records and analyzing pests. Compared with the prior art, it saves 1 day of working time and significantly reduces the costs for maintenance and consumables.
FLYING INSECT TRAP WITH ROLLER ADVANCE
An insect trap which includes an enclosure with a removable cover member having at least one opening therethrough and contained within the enclosure is an insect attractant, a take-up roller, a supply roller, each journaled for rotation about parallel, spaced-apart axes, and where a flexible web is wound on the supply roller and transferrable onto the take-up roller. The web has an adhesive on one major surface. Also contained within the enclosure is an electric motor connected in driving relation to the take-up roller and a timer circuit for controlling the ON/OFF state of the electric motor. The timer circuit is designed such that when switched to the on state, remains on only long enough to transfer a quantity of the web in a range of plus or minus 10% of the predetermined length dimension between the two rollers before assuming the off state.
INSECT TRAP DEVICE AND METHOD OF USING
A removable insect trap portion includes a front housing comprising a convex outward-facing surface and a concave inner-facing surface; a protrusion configured to engage with a base portion; an adhesive surface configured to adhere to a flying insect, wherein the adhesive surface engages a bottom portion of the front housing and extends from the bottom portion to a top portion of the front housing; a cup joined to the front housing, wherein the cup includes a bottom surface, an open end, and a lip protruding from a perimeter of the open end; and a removable tab having a sealing end and a grip end. The sealing end is affixed to the lip of the cup and configured to cover the open end of the cup creating a seal between the lip and the sealing end of the removable tab. An insect-attracting substance is contained within the cup.
APPARATUS FOR INDOOR POLLINATION, INDOOR POLLINATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INDOOR POLLINATION
An apparatus for indoor pollination, an indoor pollination system and a method for indoor pollination. The apparatus for indoor pollination includes a first ultraviolet (UV) light source configured to emit pollination enhancing light, an arthropod trap, and a second UV light source housed in the arthropod trap and configured to emit arthropod attracting light. A microprocessor is configured to switch on or off the first and second UV light sources depending on pollination requirements.
Device and method for attracting and trapping flying insects
A trap for immobilizing, killing, or containing arthropods comprises a housing having walls and at least one opening, where the walls define an interior space; and a light source comprising a directional light source mounted in the interior space. The light source is constructed to emit light at one or more wavelengths ranging from 350 to 500 nm. The light source is positioned so that a majority of the light emitted from the light source is directed at one or more surfaces in the interior space. The trap also comprises a suppression element mounted in the interior space and constructed to immobilize, kill, or contain arthropods.
Viscous outdoor mosquito killing lamp
The disclosure discloses a viscous outdoor mosquito killing lamp including a lamp body which includes a housing within which a lighting lamp is disposed; wherein the housing is provided with a trapping chamber, a sidewall of the trapping chamber is provided with a first through hole for flying insects to pass through; a trapping plate is detachably connected to the sidewall of the trapping chamber, and a viscous sticker is attached onto the trapping plate. The outdoor mosquito killing lamp is safe and environmentally friendly, and is more convenient to be cleaned up.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MONITORING STICKY BOARD INSECT TRAPS
A system and method for processing and analyzing a photographic image of a board having a sticky surface of an insect traps allows for remote monitoring of deployed insect traps to maintain effectiveness of the insect traps while eliminating the need for frequent manual inspections.
