INSECT TRAPPING LIGHT
An insect trapping light is shown having a visible light housing, a pair of electronic display screens, and an insect trapping housing. The display screen may be a television screen, picture display screen, movie display screen, computer monitor or display, or the like. The insect trapping housing has a bottom space configured to removably receive an insect bait tray that may be filled with an insect baiting substance to attract insects. The insect trapping housing and the visible light housing combine to form a UV light space or chamber therebetween. An adhesive board is slidably received and held in place upon the visible light housing surface facing the UV light chamber. The spacing between the insect trapping housing and the visible light housing defines the UV light chamber having open sides The UV light chamber also includes a matrix or array of UV lights or light sources.
Insect Capturing Assembly
An insect capturing assembly includes an ornament that is substantially hollow and a gripping element that is integrated into the ornament. A tube is slidably integrated into the ornament and the gripping element releasably engages the tube. The ornament is positionable in a stored position has the tube contained within the ornament and the ornament is positionable in a deployed position having the tube extending outwardly from the ornament. An adhesive layer is wrapped around the tube to capture flying insects that land on the adhesive layer. A base is coupled to the tube and the base is positionable on a horizontal support surface. A plurality of light emitters is each coupled to the base such that each of the light emitters emits light when the light emitters are turned on.
Insect trap device and method of using
An insect trap device and methods of using the device are described herein. In some embodiments, an insect trap includes a light source, a removable enclosure with at least one opening, an adhesive surface at least partially within the enclosure, and optics to redirect light from the light source onto an adhesive trapping surface. The light source may include at least one light emitting diode (LED). The optics may be attached to the removable enclosure, and may be located at least partially within the enclosure. The optics may include optical enhancers such as a reflector, a lens and/or a diffuser. The insect trap may further include an insect attractant that emits sound or scent.
Insect trap
The present disclosure describes a trap for catching or killing insects, and a method of attracting flying insects to an insect trap. The trap includes a back housing, an insect capture or killing mechanism, an insect attracting light source including light emitting diodes (LEDs) that emit ultra violet radiation, and a cover with openings that allow insects to enter the trap. The light source is directed immediately inwardly through plus or minor 45 degrees towards the insect capture or killing mechanism and is precluded from being directed immediately outwardly through the cover.
Insect trap
An insect catching device may include at least two insect capture surfaces, a first surface including a first color, and a second surface including a second, lighter color relative to the first color of the first surface. The second color of the second surface may highlight the presence of insects captured thereon facilitating at least one of ease of counting and ease of identification of captured insects. The insect catching device may also include a line of weakening disposed between the first surface and the second surface. The line of weakening may include at least one perforation. The second surface may be detachable from the first surface along the line of weakening. The first color may be configured to decrease visibility of captured insects on the first surface observable by a viewer through an insect trap cover.
Adhesive-type insect trap having a light source seat and a light source mount
An adhesive-type insect trap includes a body having a hole for insertion of an adhesive sheet; a light source mounting unit disposed on the body; and a cover which is detachably mounted on the body and has a through-hole in at least a part thereof. The body further includes a light source seating unit provided so as to correspond to the light source mounting unit, and a light source may have one side thereof mounted on the light source mounting unit and the other side thereof seated on the light source seating unit.
Plug-in insect trap
A wall outlet connectable insect trap for drawing in insects and trapping them within the trap is provided. The insect trap provides an aesthetically pleasing faceplate having a curved back with vented openings hidden from view such that insects may fly into the trap on a back end whereby sticky paper retaining the flies is also hidden from view.
ARTHROPOD LURE OR REPELLENT, ARTHROPOD TRAP, AND LIGHTING DEVICE
An arthropod lure or repellent (10), an arthropod trap (60) and a lighting device (140) are provided. The arthropod lure or repellent (10) includes a substrate (12), a fluorescent material (14) attached to the substrate (12), and an ultraviolet light source (16) arranged to illuminate the fluorescent material (14) with light of a first wavelength (18). The fluorescent material (14) is arranged to absorb the light of the first wavelength (18) and re-emit the light at a second wavelength (20), the second wavelength being longer than the first wavelength.
PRESERVATION OF VASCULARIZED COMPOSITE ALLOGRAFTS
This disclosure relates to subnormothermic machine perfusion formulations for ex vivo preservation of allografts, and methods of use thereof.
ARTHROPOD TRAPPING DEVICE
The present disclosure relates generally to an arthropod trapping device, more particularly, to a compact and portable trapping device comprising a housing and an insert.
