Wrapping material roll tensioner system, method of manufacture and use

A dispensing box with a roll tensioner houses a material roll and maintains a material cutting edge in an upward position for easy grasping during use. The roll tensioner comprises distal and proximal end sections with opposing bottom tabs separated by a spring back reversion section. A roll tensioner slide assembly integrated in the front wall of the dispensing box has opposing parallel slits terminating at opposing parallel slots with parallel locking flaps. Opposing bottom tabs of a roll tensioner are inserted through the parallel slots, resting in a first position during non-use and adapted to be slid down into a second position in the parallel slits when later engaged for use to retain the material cut edge in the upward position for easy grasping. The locking flaps have break-away top and bottom walls abutting a bend wall and are in a stored position and later opened outward to a locking position during use to prevent movement of the roll tensioner.

A printer includes a case including an input port for rolled paper, a cover provided to be rotatable between a closed position of the input port and an open position of the input port, a holding portion that holds the rolled paper, a biasing member that biases the holding portion in a first direction, a stopper mechanism that stops rotation of the holding portion in the first direction, and a linkage mechanism that rotates the holding portion in conjunction with the rotation of the cover. When the cover is in the closed position, the holding portion rotates in the first direction in accordance with an outer diameter of the rolled paper by a biasing force of the biasing member. When the cover rotates from the closed position to the open position, the holding portion rotates together with the cover against the biasing force of the biasing member.

A web material dispenser includes a housing and a pivotable roll support assembly provided therein. A first mandrel is provided at a first attachment location of the roll support assembly to support a first roll of web material. A second mandrel is provided at a second location of the roll support assembly to support a second roll of web material. The web material dispenser permits one-handed operation to replace the rolls of web material and to change positions of the mandrels within the dispenser. The roll support assembly may have a linkage arm and/or a roll support arm. Positions of the first and second mandrels relative to the dispenser's opening can be switched by pivoting the linkage arm relative to the housing and by pivoting the roll support arm relative to the linkage arm. A method for switching positions of rolls in the web material dispenser is also provided.

Web material dispenser and method

A web material dispenser includes a housing and a pivotable roll support assembly provided therein. A first mandrel is provided at a first attachment location of the roll support assembly to support a first roll of web material. A second mandrel is provided at a second location of the roll support assembly to support a second roll of web material. The web material dispenser permits one-handed operation to replace the rolls of web material and to change positions of the mandrels within the dispenser. The roll support assembly may have a linkage arm and/or a roll support arm. A hose storage container designed to reduce exposure of the stored hose to UV light. The container includes an enclosure unit with a removable lid, a fastening line, and a conduit. The conduit passes through the sidewall of the enclosure and is comprised two threaded points, one on each end of the conduit, and the connection between them. The conduit is constructed of a UV resistant material and serves to increase protection of the hose from UV light and other elements.

When the cover rotates by a predetermined angle around a first support shaft from the closed position, the first internal gear and the first spur gear start to mesh with each other. When the cover rotates by a predetermined angle around a second support shaft from the closed position, the second internal gear and the second spur gear start to mesh with each other.

An image forming device includes a case whereon a medium gateway opening is formed, and a tray assembly. The tray assembly includes a tray, a cover and a resilient component. The tray drives the cover to pivot relative to the case in a first pivoting direction from a second folding position to a second using position to reveal the medium gateway opening when the tray pivots relative to the case in the first pivoting direction from a first folding position to a first using position. When the tray pivots relative to the case in a second pivoting direction opposite to the first pivoting direction from the first using position to the first folding position, the cover is driven by the resilient component to pivot relative to the case in the second pivoting direction from the second using position to the second folding position to conceal the medium gateway opening.

SHEET FEEDING APPARATUS

A sheet feeding apparatus includes: a storage part that stores a sheet, and a feeding part that has a feeding roller for feeding the sheet. The storage part and the feeding part are configured to be integrally inserted/withdrawn into/from an apparatus enclosure. The feeding roller is moved from a feeding position to a retracting position before the storage part and the feeding part are withdrawn from the enclosure.

A roll tensioner for use in maintaining a wrapping material cut edge of a wrapping material retained on a wrapping material roll located within a wrapping material box having an interior cavity with an interior front wall with a top cutting edge. The roll tensioner comprises a thin, flexible main body having distal and proximal end sections separated by a spring back reversion section, and formed having a first side and a second side. Attachment means, preferably an adhesive, is located on at least a portion of the proximal end section on the first side adapted to attach the proximal end section to the interior front wall of the wrapping material box. The spring back reversion section is composed of a material that has an immediate elastic response to a static load and is capable of substantially full recovery when the static load is removed. The distal end mechanically bends downward by way of the spring back reversion section in the interior cavity of the wrapping material box. The distal end section is adapted to rest against the wrapping material proximal to the wrapping material cut edge to retain the wrapping material cut edge in an upward, substantially parallel position to the interior front wall of the wrapping material box for easy grasping of the wrapping material cut edge by an end user.
