Roll holding apparatus
A roll holding apparatus includes a pair of holding members and an advancing/retracting support device. The pair of holding members is configured to be inserted into an inner periphery of a print-receiving paper roll. The pair of holding members is configured to rotatably support the print-receiving paper roll. The advancing/retracting support device is configured to support the holding member to switch an advancing/retracting state of the holding member into a first state, second state, or a third state. A tip end portion of the holding member protrudes to a first position in the first state. The tip end portion lies inward along an axial direction of the print-receiving paper roll than the first position in the second state. The tip end portion lies outward along the axial direction from the first position in the third state.

A sheet processing apparatus includes a conveying portion, a stack portion on which sheets conveyed by the conveying portion are stacked, a first regulating portion regulating a position of a sheet bundle stacked on the stack portion in a crossing direction, a second regulating portion regulating a position of a sheet bundle on the stack portion in a conveying direction, a first binding device moved in the crossing direction and binding a corner portion of a sheet bundle by a staple, a second binding device binding a corner portion of a sheet bundle without a staple, and a controller positioning the first binding device and binding a corner portion of a sheet bundle by the first binding device. The controller also moves the second binding device and binds a corner portion of a sheet bundle without a staple by the second binding device.
TAPE PROCESSING DEVICE AND TAPE PROCESSING METHOD
A tape processing device includes a sending and processing section that performs a tape process while sending processing tape, a cutting section that is disposed on a downstream side of the sending and processing section in a tape sending direction and cuts the tape-processed processing tape, a discharging section that is disposed on the downstream side of the cutting section in the tape sending direction, feeds the processing tape, and holds the cut processing tape, a sending and interlocking section that interlocks driving of the sending and processing section and driving of the discharging section, and a sensing section that determines presence and absence of the processing tape held in the discharging section.
Image recording apparatus
An apparatus is provided that may offer functionalities including printing, scanning and/or copying. The apparatus may include a manual sheet feeding tray disposed at the rear of the apparatus. The height of the sheet feeding tray might not exceed a height of the apparatus, allowing use of the apparatus in spaces having smaller depths. The apparatus may include a sheet guide configured to move in conjunction with the movement of the tray. In some arrangements, a surface of the sheet feeding tray may differ in height between lateral edges of the tray and a central portion. This difference may cause a sheet to be curved in a lateral direction, rendering the sheet more inflexible in a longitudinal direction. According to other aspects, a depressed portion of the tray may match a protrusion extending from the guide in shape such that the two portions may mate in a retracted position.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit, an apparatus body, an opening/closing unit pivotably supported by the apparatus body, the opening/closing unit having an outside surface that forms a side surface of the apparatus body in a first direction, and a sheet supporting portion pivotably supported by the apparatus body, and a feeding member configured to feed the sheet. The opening/closing unit includes a grip portion configured to be gripped to move the opening/closing unit. When viewed in a second direction opposite to the first direction in a state where the opening/closing unit and the sheet supporting portion are closed, a portion of the opening/closing unit is not covered by the sheet supporting portion, and the grip portion of the opening/closing unit is covered by the sheet supporting portion.
BYPASS FEEDER AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A bypass feeder for feeding a sheet to an apparatus includes an openable member, a bypass feeding tray, and a linear member. The openable member is to be attached to the apparatus such that an upper portion of the openable member opens and closes. The bypass feeding tray is attached to the openable member such that an upper portion of the bypass feeding tray opens and closes. The linear member has a first end held by a first end holder of the bypass feeding tray and a second end held by a second end holder of the apparatus. The linear member has a portion accommodated inside the bypass feeding tray when the bypass feeding tray is open. The portion ranges from the first end to an inside of the apparatus or an inside of the openable member.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus body that has an image forming portion which forms an image on a recording medium, a transport unit that includes a middle transport member which transports the recording medium between an upper end and a lower end of a transport path extending in a height direction of the apparatus body and that transports the recording medium to the image forming portion along the transport path, and a feeding unit that includes a stacking unit which has a stacking surface on which recording media are stacked and a restricting unit which protrudes from the stacking unit and which restricts positions of the recording media stacked on the stacking unit, that is adjacent to the transport path in a width direction of the apparatus body, and that is switched between a stored state where the stacking unit is stored inside the apparatus body such that the stacking surface is along the transport path and an exposed state where the stacking unit is exposed to an outside of the apparatus body such that the recording media are capable of being stacked on the stacking surface, in which the middle transport member of the transport unit is disposed at a position that is shifted upward in the height direction and that overlaps in the width direction with respect to the restricting unit in the feeding unit in the stored state.

A liquid application device for applying liquid to a plurality of media to be crimped by a crimping device includes a liquid applier and a liquid-applier moving mechanism. The liquid applier applies liquid to the plurality of media. The liquid-applier moving mechanism moves the liquid applier to a first position at which the liquid applier applies liquid to a medium on a conveyance path in the liquid application device and a second position at which the liquid applier applies liquid to the plurality of media inserted through a liquid application slit of the liquid application device.

A sheet processing apparatus for processing a sheet includes a setting portion to which a sheet bundle is set from an outside of the apparatus, a conveying route in which a sheet is conveyed, a stack portion on which sheets conveyed from the conveying route are stacked, the stack portion being arranged at a different position of the setting portion, a binding unit which binds a sheet bundle set in the setting portion and a sheet bundle stacked in the stack portion, and a punching portion which forms a punch hole on a sheet, which is conveyed in the conveying route. The setting portion is arranged as being overlapped to the punching portion in a direction of intersecting with a conveying direction of a sheet conveyed in the conveying route.
