A sheet conveyance device includes a conveyance roller pair to convey a sheet, a skew correction roller pair to correct a skew of the sheet in a state in which the skew correction roller pair is being stopped, first and second conveyance guides, and a protrusion. The first conveyance guide includes a bend contact portion to come into contact with a portion forming a bend on the first surface of the sheet. The second conveyance guides the sheet. The protrusion is disposed between the skew correction roller pair and the bend contact portion to come into contact with the first surface of the sheet. The protrusion protrudes toward the second conveyance guide from the first conveyance guide in a manner as to intersect with a straight line connecting two nip portions and the bend contact portion in a cross section perpendicular to a width direction.

The second sheet guide includes a protuberance extending toward the first sheet guide, to locations beyond the guide surface formed by the first sheet guide. When a sheet is located between the first sheet guide and the protuberance of the second sheet guide, the protuberance extends at least a portion of the sheet toward the first sheet guide to bring a part of a surface of the sheet into contact with the first sheet guide.

Bow spreader

A bow spreader bar provides lateral stress on a web of plastic film as it travels past. An elongated arcuate bow member is supported on a rotatable support bar that can be rotated by a first actuator to adjust pitch angle of the bow member relative to the plane of the film. A second actuator mounted on a midportion of the rotatable bar has a rod connected to a center part of the arcuate member and adjusts the amount of bow or arc of the arcuate member. A remote control arrangement has a receiver coupled to the first and second actuators and a remote transmitter permitting an operator to control the pitch angle and amount of bow from a location remote from the film processing equipment.

In an angle range in which the arm 3 is in contact with the enlarged diameter curved surface portion 6, the arm 3 is pushed in a rotation outward direction at the time of rotation such that the tape stretched from the roll tape 1 to an object 9 is wound around the object 9 while being pulled out. In an angle range in which the arm 3 is not in contact with the enlarged diameter curved surface portion 6, the tape previously pulled out from the roll tape 1 is wound around the object 9 while being wound up on the object 9. By repeating this alternately, displacement of the object from the rotation axis is suppressed, and proper winding is performed.

The sheet transporting device includes a sheet guide member that extends towards the curved transport path from the merging section, with an extending end portion of the sheet guide member being disposed so as not to contact the transport guides. The sheet guide member reduces jumping up of a trailing end portion of a sheet caused by flexing of the sheet passing through the merging section towards the curved transport path.
