A medium discharging device includes a side cursor, a moving unit, a discharge unit, and a side guide. The side cursor is provided in a processing tray and is provided movable in an intersecting direction intersecting a discharging direction of the medium, aligns an end portion of a media bundle in the intersecting direction, and guides the media bundle in the discharging direction when the media bundle is discharged. The moving unit moves the side cursor in the intersecting direction. The discharge unit discharges the media bundle from the processing tray to the discharge tray where the media bundle is placed. When the media bundle is discharged, the side guide is disposed alongside the side cursor in the discharging direction and restricts movement of the media bundle in the intersecting direction, which is discharged by the discharger.

A sheet feeding cartridge storing a sheet conveyed orthogonally to a width direction includes a main body, a pair of side cursors and a restricting member. The main body has a bottom part including a sheet placement face and allows sheets of different sizes to be placed. The side cursors mutually slide in approaching and separating directions and restrict a position in the width direction. The restricting member comes into contact with a side edge in the width direction at a position separated from one of the side cursors to an upstream side in a conveyance direction and restricts the position in the width direction. The restricting member is attachably/detachably provided in the main body at each of plural positions along the width direction and restricts the side edge of each of the sheets of different sizes in the width direction.

The image forming apparatus includes a sheet storing unit insertably and pullably attached to the frame unit, an image forming unit, and a frame unit. The frame unit includes two frame members parallel to each other with a predetermined distance therebetween and are connected and fixed to each other. The two frame members respectively include engaged portions. The sheet storing unit includes engaging portions respectively engageable with the engaged portions in a state where the sheet storing unit is inserted in the frame unit. In a state where the engaging portions respectively engage with the engaged portions, the engaging portions that respectively engage with the engaged portions and a portion between the two engaging portions of the sheet storing unit serve as strengthening members to regulate deformation of the two frame members by at least a predetermined amount.

A sheet feed device includes a sheet storage portion, a first regulation portion, a feed portion, and a second regulation portion. The sheet storage portion is attached to an apparatus main body in a detachable manner. A sheet is stored in the sheet storage portion. The first regulation portion stands on a bottom surface of the sheet storage portion and regulates a position of the sheet in a predetermined width direction by externally abutting on a first side of the sheet in the width direction. The feed portion is provided in the apparatus main body and feeds the sheet in a feed direction perpendicular to the width direction. The second regulation portion is provided in the apparatus main body and regulates a position of the sheet by externally abutting on the first side at a downstream of the first regulation portion in the feed direction.

A sheet storage device includes a sheet positioning member that is movable in a first direction, and positions a sheet by abutting on a side end portion of the sheet at a side in the first direction. The sheet positioning member includes a moving body, an abutting portion, a first and a second biasing member, and a bias removing portion. The moving body is configured to move in the first direction. The abutting portion is supported by the moving body to be movable in the first direction and configured to abut on the side end portion when the sheet positioning member positions the sheet. The first biasing member biases the abutting portion toward the side end portion. The second biasing member biases the abutting portion against a biasing force of the first biasing member. The bias removing portion removes a bias applied by the second biasing member.

A sheet post-processor includes a processing tray, a sheet discharge port, a discharge roller pair, a pair of cursor members, a pair of support members, and an interlocking mechanism. The interlocking mechanism includes a pair of coupling members arranged in the processing tray so as to be reciprocatable in a sheet width direction. The pair of coupling members are coupled to or decoupled from the pair of cursor members in accordance with movement of the pair of cursor members. While being coupled to the pair of cursor members, the pair of coupling members contact the pair of support members so as to displace the pair of support members to a protruding position, and while being decoupled from the pair of cursor members, the pair of coupling members separate from the pair of support members so as to displace the pair of support members to a retracted position.

An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus body that forms an image on a recording material; a drawn-out unit that is provided so as to be drawable from the apparatus body and has a mount region on which the recording material is mounted; and a guide unit that is provided on the drawn-out unit and guides the recording material to a position where the recording material is to be mounted on the mount region. The guide unit has a guide surface that guides an end of the recording material, a hook part that is hooked onto the drawn-out unit and determines a position relative to the drawn-out unit, and a release part that releases the hook part from the drawn-out unit by being operated by a user from a guide surface side.

A supply device configured to supply a medium to a processing unit configured to perform processing on the medium, the supply device including an accommodating unit configured to accommodate a plurality of the media in a state of being stacked therein and a vibration imparting unit configured to contact ends of the plurality of media accommodated in the accommodating unit to impart vibration to the medium.

A sheet post-processing device includes a folding portion, a discharge portion, a stacking tray, a shift unit, a pair of alignment members, and a controller. The pair of alignment members include first and second alignment members at one and the other side of sheets stacked on the stacking tray. When a sheet bundle sorted and stacked on the stacking tray includes a folded sheet, executes a second alignment mode in which it performs, for sheets shifted to a first position at one side on the stacking tray, alignment with only the first alignment member and, for sheets shifted to a second position at the other side, alignment with only the second alignment member, or does not perform alignment process.
