METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR COLOURING TURF
A method for colouring turf and a turf colouring system. The method and system comprise delivering liquid colourant at a hydraulic pressure greater than 1000 psi to sprayers having a high pressure, high impact, fine spray nozzle with a spray pattern having feathered edges for even coverage with overlapping nozzles. Alternatively, the method and system comprise delivering liquid colourant at a pneumatic pressure greater than 60 psi to sprayers having a high pressure, high impact, fine spray nozzle with a spray pattern having feathered edges for even coverage with overlapping nozzles.
AGRICULTURAL SPRAYER BOOM
A boom for mounting to an agricultural sprayer comprises an elongate frame supporting a plurality of liquid application devices, liquid delivery means connected to the application devices, and an elongate tray attached to, and extending along, the boom. The tray is movable between a first position in which the tray extends substantially horizontally beneath one or more of the application devices to prevent material from leaking onto the ground below, and a second position in which the tray is located clear of delivery paths of the liquid application devices.
Retractable spray shield for agricultural use
A retractable spray shield for agricultural use has a spray barrier; a storage tube; a deployment and concealment drive that in one direction deploys the spray barrier from the storage tube and in a second direction opposed to the first direction conceals the spray barrier within the storage tube; and a pivotal quick release support and boom arm coupling. The spray barrier has a generally triangular and flaccid liquid barrier film, a pair of framing legs coupled to opposed edges of the liquid barrier film, a hinge plate, a pair of pintles coupling the pair of framing legs to the hinge plate, a spring guide post intermediate between the first and second pintles, and a tension spring wrapped about the spring guide post and configured to operatively stretch the pair of framing legs apart from each other and thereby expand the barrier film toward a planar, generally triangular geometry.
CONE APPLICATOR WITH SAFETY SKIRT
In one example, a safety applicator can include a body defining an upper chamber, a nozzle coupled to the body and defining a lower chamber, and a skirt coupled to the body. The lower chamber of the nozzle can be connected to the upper chamber of the body to define a passage through the device. The skirt can be configured to inhibit a liquid escaping from the nozzle in response to the liquid being injected through the nozzle. In various embodiments, the skirt defines an opening to relieve pressure in response to the liquid being injected through the nozzle. The body, the nozzle, and the skirt can be formed integrally. The body, the nozzle, and the skirt can comprise a molded liquid. The skirt may comprise a bell-shaped geometry. Other example devices and related methods are also disclosed herein.
SPRAYER SYSTEMS WITH RETRACTABLE DROP APPARATUSES
The sprayer system associated with a work vehicle having a boom and a fluid source may include a spray device configured to selectively apply a fluid from the fluid source on the work vehicle to an agricultural crop. The sprayer system may further include a drop apparatus having a linkage assembly with a top portion coupled to the boom and a bottom portion coupled to the spray device. The linkage assembly may be selectively repositionable between a retracted position and an extended position to raise and lower the spray device relative to the boom along an upright reference axis.
SPRAY NOZZLE SYSTEM
A spray nozzle system includes a nozzle body and an adaptor coupled to the nozzle body. The adaptor has a first region and a second region angled at a non-zero angle relative to the first region. The spray nozzle system also includes a nozzle cap coupled to the second region of the adaptor. The nozzle cap includes a nozzle outlet to spray a liquid.
Agricultural spray containment devices, systems and methods
Devices, systems, and methods for containing the plume of a sprayed agricultural compound applied to a crop field are disclosed. In particular, the plume of the sprayed agricultural compound may be contained within a spray hood assembly attached to an agricultural vehicle or device such as a planter unit. Each spray hood assembly may be situated behind an individual planter unit, and multiple spray hood assemblies may be combined to form an agricultural spray containment system.
SPRAYER APPARATUS AND SYSTEMS
Sprayer apparatus for use with an elongate boom may be configured to spray a liquid onto foliage on a ground surface. The sprayer apparatus may include a spray boom, a spray hood coupled to the spray boom, an extension member coupled to the spray boom, and a mounting apparatus coupled to the extension member. The mounting apparatus may be couplable to the elongate boom to support the spray boom and the spray hood above the ground surface.
AIRFOIL FOR FACILITATING FLUID DELIVERY
The application is generally directed towards an airfoil for a fluid delivery tube. The airfoil includes a securing member operably connecting the airfoil to the tube, a fin extending downward and outward from the securing member and terminating in a tip, a shield extending inward and downward from the tip of the fin, and an air guide extending from a first end of the shield.
BOS Stop Drift Spray Wand
A spray device for spraying a fluid may include a reservoir to hold the fluid; a hose connected to the reservoir to convey the fluid; a handle to connect to the hose; a telescoping dispensing shaft connected to the handle to convey the fluid; and a dome connected to the telescoping dispensing shaft to encapsulate the excess drift.
The dome may be formed from one of translucent or clear material.
