APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING TASKS ON A PATTERN PLANTED FIELD
An agricultural machine system for performing agricultural tasks in a in a field on which plants are planted or will be planted in a pattern, the system comprising: a prime mover; a tool bar connected to the prime mover; a plurality of units attached to the tool bar, the units configured to perform at least one agricultural tasks and wherein at least two of the units are disposed in an offset relationship from each other with respect to a forward direction of travel of the agricultural machine about the tool bar; and a control unit in communication with the prime mover and the plurality of units, the control unit configured to determine a selective location corresponding to the pattern in which plants are planted or will be planted and activate the units at the selective location to perform the at least one agricultural task as the agricultural machine system travels along a plurality of rows.
AGRICULTURAL SPRAYER BOOM TRUSS
A truss structure of a spray boom assembly includes a top member, a bottom member, and a first truss member positioned between the top member and the bottom. The truss structure also includes a first connecting member welded to the top member and the first truss member, and a second connecting plate welded to the bottom member and the first truss member.
Plant protection and management systems for center pivot and linear irrigation system
Disclosed is a plant protection and management system for a center pivot and linear irrigation system. In the plant protection and management system, the movable platform is configured to provide at least one of an application unit, a seeding-fertilizer spreader unit or a monitoring unit. The application unit is configured to spray agriculture chemicals or fertilizers on crops. The seeding-fertilizer spreader unit is configured to sow seeds of crops. Further, the monitoring unit is configured to monitor crops and collect status data of the crops or status data of environment. According to different requirements on agricultural production, at least one of the application unit, the sowing unit or the monitoring unit can be selectively arranged on the movable platform so as to meet various requirements on plant protections and managements in the process of agricultural production.
Insecticide sprayer and nozzle assembly
A fluid sprayer includes a tank containing fluid therein and a rotary atomizer in communication with the tank to receive fluid therefrom and to atomize the fluid. The fluid sprayer also includes a blower assembly positioned upstream of the rotary atomizer for dispersing the atomized fluid from the rotary atomizer into the surroundings of the fluid sprayer and a discharge chute positioned downstream of the blower assembly into which the atomized fluid from the rotary atomizer is sprayed before being discharged upward and into the surroundings of the fluid sprayer. The rotary atomizer includes a plurality of fan blades coupled to a hub. The fan blades are operable to impart rotation to the hub in response to an airflow generated by the blower assembly flowing around the fan blades.
Sprayer systems with drop apparatuses having retractable arms
A sprayer system is provided for a work machine that includes a boom, a fluid source, and an air source. The sprayer system includes a spray device configured to selectively apply a fluid from the fluid source to an agricultural crop. A retractable arm includes a first arm segment, a second arm segment, a first hinge joint positioned such that the first arm segment is selectively foldable relative to the boom, and a second hinge joint positioned such that the second arm segment is selectively foldable relative to the first arm segment. An actuation assembly coupled to the retractable arm selectively folds and unfolds the first arm segment relative to the boom at the first hinge joint and the second arm segment relative to the first arm segment at the second hinge joint based on air pressure from the air source.
Agricultural sprayer boom
A boom for mounting to an agricultural sprayer which includes an elongate frame that supports a plurality of liquid application and delivery means, and an elongate tray attached to, and extending along, the boom. The tray is movable between a first position in which the tray extends substantially horizontally beneath one or more of the application devices to prevent liquids from leaking onto the ground below, and a second position in which the tray is located clear of delivery paths of the liquid application devices.
Suspension control system providing closed loop control of hydraulic fluid volumes for an agricultural machine
In one aspect, a control system is provided which determines fluid flow in a suspension system for an agricultural machine by determining total fluid in a closed loop piston system. Fluid is determined using position sensors and a pressure transducers and application of the ideal gas with respect to each accumulator. A closed loop control system can then target an amount of fluid for optimum suspension control.
Spray assembly for boom sprayer
A boom spray assembly, such as for an agricultural sprayer, has a feed pipe and a spray pipe with a continuous tubular body. The tubular body has at least one facial feed opening therein between the ends opening along a second axis at an angle to a first axis of the tubular body. A saddle fitting is coupled to the spray pipe that defines a first passageway extending along the first axis to receive the tubular body and defines a second passageway extending along the second axis in registration with the at least one facial feed opening and receiving spray material from the at least one feed pipe. At least one spray nozzle is coupled to the tubular body of the at least one pipe in communication with the first and second passageways.
SPRAYER OR SPREADER BOOM STRUCTURE AND SPRAYER OR SPREADER WITH SUCH A BOOM
A boom structure for spraying or spreading including two side poles each formed of at least one segment, each segment or at least one of the segments of each side pole being composed of an assembly of elongated elements including, firstly, a top longitudinal tube, secondly, at least one bottom longitudinal tube and, lastly, bracing elements, forming tie rods and bridging pieces, extending between the top tube and at least one bottom tube, connecting them. A boom structure wherein each longitudinal tube has at least one radial protuberance, shaped in the longitudinal direction of the relevant tube, and including several openings spaced along the tube, each one constituting a site for securing an end of at least one bracing element.
Work vehicle vision system with contextual task icons
A multi-camera vision system is utilized onboard a work vehicle having an operator cabin and an apparatus associated with performance of a work task. The system includes: one or more display devices defining a plurality of display areas and a plurality of cameras carried by the work vehicle and coupled to display feeds at the display areas. A first camera of the cameras is oriented to selectively provide a first selected feed of at least a portion of the apparatus during performance of the work task. A controller is configured to display the first selected feed of the selected feeds with an insert, overlay, or icon that indicates the origin and orientation of the first camera as the first selected feed depicts performance of the work task by the apparatus.
