DOUBLE FEEDING DETECTION DEVICE, CONTROL METHOD, AND CONTROL PROGRAM
Provided are a multi-feed detection apparatus, a control method, and a control program to suitably determine whether or not the multi-feed detection apparatus returns a fed medium to a direction of a medium tray when multi-feed has occurred. A multi-feed detection apparatus includes an ultrasonic sensor to generate an ultrasonic signal, a multi-feed determination module to determine that feeding of the medium is normal when a signal value of the ultrasonic signal is equal to or more than a first threshold value, and determine that a multi-feed of the medium has occurred when the signal value of the ultrasonic signal is less than the first threshold value, and a control module to control the feed module to return the fed medium to a direction of the medium tray when the signal value of the ultrasonic signal is less than a second threshold value smaller than the first threshold value.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS THAT IDENTIFIES SHEET THICKNESS
A transmitter transmits ultrasonic wave of a predetermined volume. A reflected ultrasonic wave receiver receives reflected ultrasonic wave, transmitted from the transmitter and reflected by a sheet. A permeated ultrasonic wave receiver receives permeated ultrasonic wave, transmitted by the transmitter and permeated through the sheet. A volume detector detects reflected volume of the reflected ultrasonic wave, and permeated volume of the permeated ultrasonic wave. The decider identifies a thickness of the sheet being transported by a transport device, and decides whether multifeed of the sheets is occurring, on a basis of a comparison result between the detected reflected volume and a reference reflected volume, and a comparison result between the detected permeated volume and a reference permeated volume.
Image forming device, paper feeding mechanism deterioration determining method and non-transitory recording medium
An image forming device comprising: a tray in which multiple number of sheets are stored; a feeder that feeds the sheet stored in the tray; and a hardware processor that: measures a carrying speed of the sheet fed by the feeder; determines whether or not the measured carrying speed is affected by the following sheet; corrects the carrying speed upon determining the carrying speed is affected by the following sheet; and detects a wear status on the feeder based on the measured carrying speed or the corrected carrying speed.
MEDIUM CONVEYING APPARATUS FOR DETERMINING CONVEYANCE ABNORMALITY BASED ON DETERMINATION RESULT OF FLOATING AND SKEW OF MEDIUM
A medium conveying apparatus includes a floating sensor located on an upstream side of a first roller in the medium conveying direction to detect a floating of the medium placed on a medium tray, a skew sensor located on a downstream side of a second roller in the medium conveying direction to detect a skew of the medium conveyed by the second roller, and a processor to determine whether the floating of the medium has occurred based on an output signal from the floating sensor, determine whether the skew of the medium has occurred based on an output signal from the skew sensor, and determine that a conveyance abnormality of the medium has occurred when the processor determines that the floating of the medium has occurred and the processor determines that the skew of the medium has occurred.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SEPARATING OPTICAL ADHERED FILMS
This application discloses a device and a method for separating optical adhered films. The device for separating optical adhered films includes: a separating workbench configured to separate optical films; a suction nozzle configured to adsorb the optical film; a driving device configured to drive the suction nozzle and the separating workbench. The suction nozzle includes a first group of suction nozzles and a second group of suction nozzles. The first group of suction nozzles and the second group of suction nozzles are arranged opposite to each other. The method for separating optical adhered films includes the following steps: separating, when the detection structure for two optical adhered films detect that at least two optical films are adhered to each other, the optical adhered films by using a first group of suction nozzles and a second group of suction nozzles.
PAPER SEPARATION MECHANISM
A paper separation mechanism, comprising a separation roller assembly having a separation roller, a torque limiter connected to the separation roller, and a separation gear arranged between the separation roller and the torque limiter; a transmission gear assembly having a first transmission gear which is able to mesh or separate with the separation gear, a second transmission gear meshed with the first transmission gear, and a connecting part connected the first transmission gear and the second transmission gear; and a motor connected to the transmission gear assembly for applying forward or reverse torque; wherein when the motor is applying the forward torque, the connecting part rotates forward to mesh the first transmission gear with the separation gear; and when the motor is applying the reverse torque, the connecting part rotates reverse to separate the first transmission gear with the separation gear.
SHEET FEEDING DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND CONTROL METHOD
A sheet feeding device includes a conveyance rotator, a separation rotator, a torque applier, a torque control circuit, and a torque transmission switcher. The conveyance rotator conveys a sheet in a sheet feeding direction. The separation rotator sandwiches the sheet together with the conveyance rotator. The torque applier applies a reverse torque to the separation rotator in a sheet reversing direction to reverse the sheet. The torque control circuit controls the reverse torque applied to the separation rotator to be equal to or less than a given value. The torque transmission switcher switches, between a transmission state and a non-transmission state, a state of a torque transmission path between the torque applier and the separation rotator. The transmission state is a state in which the reverse torque is transmitted. The non-transmission state is a state in which the reverse torque is not transmitted.
