PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes: a first blade that cuts a printing medium; a cutter motor; a drive gear that engages the first blade and is rotated by the cutter motor to drive the first blade; a rotator that rotates in conjunction with the drive gear; a photosensor that includes a light-receiving/emitting section including a light-emitting element and a light-receiving element and that includes a sensor substrate that outputs a first detection signal or a second direction signal in accordance with whether or not detection light emitted from the light-emitting element to the light-receiving element is blocked by the rotator; a first cutter frame that supports the photosensor; and a cover member that covers the sensor substrate between the cover member and the first cutter frame.
Method and device for handling individual intermediate layers
Disclosed are a method and a device (1) for handling individual intermediate layers (5). The method involves removing from each of at least two separate stacks of intermediate layers (7) an individual intermediate layer (5) arranged topmost on the particular stack of intermediate layers (7). The removed individual intermediate layers (5) are moved into a detection range of a sensor system (13) of its own and the particular own sensor system (13) identifying, preferably by means of optical detection, an outer edge (6) of the particular intermediate layer (5). Subsequently, the removed individual intermediate layers (5) move toward a particular target location (Z1, Z2), the particular, preferably optical detection thereby being taken into account, such that the intermediate layers (5) reach their particular target location (Z1, Z2) in a predetermined position.
LONG MEDIUM
A plurality of marks (11) equidistantly provided on both side edge parts (1a) of a long medium (1), a plurality of first indicator holes (12) equidistantly given on at least one of the side edge parts (1a), and a plurality of second indicator holes (13) given on at least one of the side edge parts (1a) on a straight line different from a row of the first indicator holes (12) at spacings shorter than spacings of the first indicator holes (12) are provided, and the second indicator holes (13) are each provided to a side of a trailing-end mark (11b), and each gradually comes closer to a leading-end mark (11a) as the long medium (1) runs toward a trailing end.
Document conveying apparatus, determination method, and computer-readable, non-transitory medium
A document conveying apparatus includes a light source, a disk including a plurality of slits spaced apart with a predetermined interval in a rotation direction of the disk, which rotates in the rotation direction with a rotation speed as a document is conveyed, a light reception element provided at a position facing the light source with the disk interposed therebetween, a first signal generator for generating a first signal in accordance with light received by the light reception element, a second signal generator for generating a second signal obtained by removing, from the first signal, a noise component according to the rotation speed of the disk, and a controller for determining whether a document is conveyed by comparing the second signal with a predetermined threshold value.
Film inspection device
A film inspection device is equipped with a first fixed roll, a second fixed roll, a first moving roll, and a second moving roll. The first and second fixed rolls stretch an electrolyte film, which includes a part that is irradiated with light between first and second driving rolls, from one surface side thereof. The first moving roll stretches the electrolyte film from the other surface side thereof. The second moving roll stretches the electrolyte film from the other surface side thereof. The second moving roll is moved such that a conveyance path of the electrolyte film between the second driving roll and the second fixed roll becomes short, while the first moving roll is moved such that the conveyance path of the electrolyte film between the first driving roll and the first fixed roll becomes long.
Liquid discharge apparatus and medium flattening method
A medium flattening method, when a medium is transported by being adhered to an adhesive layer which is on a surface of a transport belt, includes detecting a presence or absence of floating being generated in the medium on the transport belt using a sensor, executing a process for flattening to flatten the floating in the medium in the case where the floating exists, and transporting the medium, where the floating is eliminated using the process for the flattening, to a liquid discharge region of a liquid discharge section. The executing of the process for the flattening includes executing the process for the flattening with regard to the medium and liquid discharge with regard to the medium in parallel.
CASH BOX HAVING A STORAGE AREA FOR STORING NOTES OF VALUE
A cash box has a storage area for storing several notes of value and a counterpressure unit, which delimits the storage area and is movable between first and second positions. The cash box includes a sensor unit with at least one sensor element, the sensor unit emitting a sensor signal that is dependent on the position of the sensor element. The counterpressure unit has a recess for receiving at least a part of the sensor element. The sensor element and the recess are arranged such that the sensor element is only received whenever the counterpressure unit is in the first position and no note of value is present between the sensor element and the recess. The cash box has a control unit which determines on the basis of the sensor signal of the sensor unit and the position of the counterpressure unit whether the cash box is empty.
Temporary paper money storage device and control method thereof
A banknote temporary storage device includes: a timing unit, configured to obtain a time period between a time when the front end of a banknote enters into a first sensor and a time when the back end of the banknote leaves the first sensor; a calculating unit, configured to calculate a width of the banknote based on the time period, calculate a bump radius based on the width, and determine a condition of generating a bump on the storage coiling block; a detecting unit, configured to detect whether the condition of generating a bump on the storage coiling block is met, based on a real-time radius; and an interval control unit, configured to change an interval between banknotes on the storage coiling block in a pre-set control manner to eliminate a bump, in a case that the condition is met.
