The present disclosure is in one aspect to a dispenser for rolled sheet materials. The dispenser includes a feed roller that is rotatably mounted to a housing of the dispenser housing, and that is configured to feed a predetermined amount of sheet material from the supply of sheet material through a discharge provided along the housing of the dispenser. The dispenser also has a feed roller drive assembly with a drive motor, and a belt transmission assembly. The belt transmission assembly has a drive belt coupled to the drive motor and to the feed roller such that rotation of the feed roller is driven by operation of the drive motor.

FEEDING MECHANISM
A feeding mechanism comprises a base body, a feeding roller and a linkage assembly. The base body has a feeding channel. The feeding roller is disposed on the base body, and a part of the feeding roller is located in the feeding channel. The linkage assembly comprises a guiding component and a pressing component. The guiding component is pivotally coupled to the base body. Two ends of the pressing component are respectively and slidably disposed on the base body and the guiding component. The guiding component is rotatable relative to the base body so as to drive the pressing component to move along an extension direction of the feeding channel relative to the guiding component.

An image forming apparatus including: a sheet container; a sheet conveyer; a sheet detector; and a controller, wherein, in a case where a leading edge of a first sheet is positioned downstream of a first position in a conveyance direction and a trailing edge of a second sheet preceding the first sheet is positioned downstream of a second position located downstream of the first position when the first and second sheets are stopped based on a result of the sheet detector, the controller causes the sheet conveyer to convey the first sheet in the conveyance direction, and in a case where the leading edge of the first sheet is positioned upstream of the first position when the first and second sheets are stopped, the controller causes the sheet conveyer to convey the first sheet in an opposite direction to return the first sheet to the sheet container.

An image forming apparatus including: a printer; a puncher configured to punch the sheet printed by the printer; a binder configured to perform a bookbinding process to form a bound product in which a binding member penetrates punch holes of sheets; a first detector configured to detect a first jam of a sheet in the binder; a second detector configured to detect a second jam of a sheet which occurs upstream of the binder; an annunciator configured to notify information; and a controller configured to cause the annunciator to notify first instruction information for instructing removal of a sheet and the binding member, when the first detector has detected the first jam; and cause the annunciator to notify second instruction information for instructing removal of the second jam when the second detector has detected the second jam and the first detector has not detected the first jam.
ADJUSTING PRINT MEDIUM RETRIEVAL
Example implementations relate to adjusting print medium retrieval. For example, a system may include a printing device that may have a pick roller attached to a pick arm and a servomotor to apply torque to the pick roller. The system may further include a controller associated with the servomotor to determine a measured position of the servomotor relative to an intended position of the servomotor in a particular time frame during the print medium retrieval. The controller may further determine adjustment of the print medium retrieval based on comparison of a pulse width modulation (PWM) magnitude in adjacent time frames.

A printing apparatus includes a printing unit, first and second conveyance units conveying a print medium, and a control unit performing reduction control to reduce an overlap amount between a preceding print medium and a succeeding print medium by using a speed difference. In a first case in which a trailing end of the preceding print medium and a leading end of the succeeding print medium are positioned in an interval between the first and second conveyance units, a conveying speed of the preceding print medium is set to a first speed. In a second case which is different from the first case and in which the trailing end and the leading end are positioned in the interval between the first and second conveyance units, the conveying speed of the preceding print medium is set to a second speed different from the first speed.
PRINTER AND MERCHANDISE INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS
A printer according to an embodiment includes a printing unit that prints on a sheet. The sheet is discharged through an outlet. The sheet is conveyed on a sheet conveyance path through the printing unit and to the outlet. A movable device is located on the sheet conveyance path upstream of the outlet in a sheet conveying direction. The movable device can move between a separation position, a proximity position, and a protruding position. A detection device detects a position of the movable device. A controller determines a conveyance abnormality of the sheet based on the state of the movable device detected by the detection device, and outputs a signal indicating the conveyance abnormality.
