The first extension tray has a support portion extending downward from the upper surface where the sheets are stacked, and the second extension tray is rotatably supported by the support portion.
IMAGE RECORDING APPARATUS AND SHEET END MOVING METHOD
There is provided an image recording apparatus including: a feed tray configured to accommodate a roll body including a sheet medium wound in a roll shape, the feed tray having a support surface configured to support the sheet medium unwound from an accommodated roll body being the roll body accommodated in the feed tray; a casing; a cutter configured to cut the sheet medium, the cutter being disposed above the feed tray supported by the casing; a recorder; and a supplier configured to supply energy to the sheet medium in a time period in which the sheet medium is conveyed from the accommodated roll body to the cutter so as to move an end of the sheet medium toward the feed tray by the energy, the end being an end formed at a position between the cutter and the feed tray by cutting the sheet medium with the cutter.
Banknote jam determination system and method
A banknote jam determination system and method, the determination system comprising a sensor unit (101), a banknote information storage unit (102), a banknote jam threshold computing unit (103) and a banknote jam status determination unit (104). The banknote jam threshold computing unit (103) can compute a threshold (M) according to an actual space (S) between the actual length (L) of the banknote and the sensor. The banknote jam status determination unit (104) uses a threshold (M) computed in real time to determine whether a banknote jam occurs, and therefore the banknote jam determination system and method are a dynamic banknote jam determination technique based on a varied threshold (M) of a banknote and a sensor, and can improve measurement precision and ensure reliability.

Sheet feeder control method, sheet feeder, and image forming apparatus
A sheet feeder control method for controlling a sheet feeder of an image forming apparatus includes feeding a sheet through a sheet feed path exposable to the exterior of the sheet feeder, detecting the feeding of the sheet at at least a first position on the sheet feed path, discharging the fed sheet to the exterior of the sheet feeder, detecting the discharge of the sheet at a second position downstream of the first position in a sheet feeding direction, detecting a sheet jam during the feeding and discharging of the sheet, and if the jammed sheet is detected at the second position but not at the first position, cancelling a malfunction state due to the sheet jam when the sheet stops being detected at the second position, irrespective of whether the sheet feed path is covered or exposed.
RECORDING PAPER STORAGE DEVICE, ELECTRONIC APPARATUS AND ELECTRONIC REGISTER
A recording paper storage device of the present invention includes a recording paper storage section which stores recording paper wound in a roll shape, and a plurality of rollers which are arranged in a bottom portion of the recording paper storage section along an outer periphery of the recording paper wound in a roll shape and rotatably support the recording paper wound in a roll shape, in which at least one of the plurality of rollers is a movement regulation roller which regulates movement of the recording paper in a winding-off direction by winding-off of the recording paper wound in a roll shape in the recording paper storage section.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus including: a sheet container; a sheet conveyer; a sheet detector; and a controller, wherein, in a case where a leading edge of a first sheet is positioned downstream of a first position in a conveyance direction and a trailing edge of a second sheet preceding the first sheet is positioned downstream of a second position located downstream of the first position when the first and second sheets are stopped based on a result of the sheet detector, the controller causes the sheet conveyer to convey the first sheet in the conveyance direction, and in a case where the leading edge of the first sheet is positioned upstream of the first position when the first and second sheets are stopped, the controller causes the sheet conveyer to convey the first sheet in an opposite direction to return the first sheet to the sheet container.
Medium processing device and medium transaction device
An operation knob that turns a drum is exposed at the outer side of a left side face of a temporary holding section, and a knob cover is disposed at the outer side of the operation knob. When an opening guide of the temporary holding section is in a closed state and is closed onto the upper side of the drum, the knob cover is put into a covering state, via a stud, preventing operation of the operation knob. When the opening guide of the temporary holding section is turned in an opening direction from the closed state and opens apart from the upper side of the drum, the knob cover is turned in an exposing direction by the action of a spring and put into an exposing state.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS THAT CHANGES OVER PAPER FEEDING STAGES
Provided is an image forming apparatus avoiding possibility of sheet jam occurrence, and also maintains convenience for user. The apparatus is provided with plural stages detachably loaded therein, having a common carrying passage carrying a sheet from a lower stage, a sheet detection sensor that detects a sheet stored in stage, and plural searching patterns varying in priority levels in stage searching, and includes a stage searching part that, every time feeding from stage is performed, performs stage searching based on any one of the searching patterns, and a system control part that notifies stage searching part of detection result by sensor and stage specified as default, stage searching part selecting pattern according to detection result and default to perform stage searching, and system control part performing stage changeover based on priority levels in stage searching in pattern selected.
SHEET PROCESSING DEVICE
Provided is a sheet processing device that includes a guide, a support section, a stacker, and a gate. The guide is provided with a conveyance surface along a conveyance direction of a sheet.
