ELEVATOR SYSTEM
An elevator system has a car and a suspension device, wherein the car is least partially carried by the suspension device. The suspension device includes several electrically conductive tension members that are arranged parallel to one another and are essentially enclosed by a jacket. The suspension device is attached to suspension device mounting fixtures, wherein the suspension device mounting fixtures each include a housing and a clamping element. The housing and the clamping element have clamping surfaces between which the suspension device is clamped. The clamping element and/or the housing is made of an electrically insulating material.
Method and device for detecting a deterioration state of a load bearing capacity in a suspension member arrangement for an elevator
A deterioration state of load bearing capacity in an elevator suspension member having a plurality of electrically conductive cords is detected by: providing a multi-phase alternating current circuitry including electrically conductive legs; applying at least one phase of a multi-phase alternating current to at least one of the cords electrically connected to one of the legs; applying at least another phase of the current to at least another cord and at least one resistor electrically connected to at least another leg; measuring an electric indicator current being at least one of a net sum of all phases of the current and an electric bypass current through a neutral wire being connected in parallel to the circuitry, wherein a peak current in each phase is shifted by a phase angle with respect to a peak current in another phase; and determining the deterioration state based on the measured indicator electric current.
ELEVATOR SYSTEM SUSPENSION MEMBER TERMINATION
An elevator system includes a hoistway and an elevator car suspended in the hoistway via one or more suspension members. A counterweight is suspended in the hoistway via the one or more suspension members to balance operation of the elevator car. A machine is positioned at the hoistway to drive the one or more suspension members along the hoistway, driving motion of the elevator car and/or counterweight along the hoistway. A suspension member termination is supported at the machine, to secure an end of the one or more suspension members. A drive system for an elevator includes one or more elevator suspension members and a machine interactive with the one or more elevator suspension members to drive motion of an elevator car. A suspension member termination is supported at the machine to secure an end of the one or more suspension members at the machine.
Bedplate for elevator system
A support member configured for use in a machine room of an elevator system is provided including a base having a car end and a counterweight end. The counterweight end is arranged substantially parallel to a wall of the machine room, and the counterweight end is arranged at an angle relative to the car end. An idler sheave having a plurality of grooves is mounted to the base in an orientation generally parallel to the car end. The idler sheave is configured to rotate about a first axis of rotation. A plurality of individual sheaves is mounted to the based in a staggered configuration substantially complementary to the angle of the counterweight end relative to the car end. Each individual sheave is configured to rotate about a second axis of rotation parallel to the first axis of rotation.
Elevator car
The object of the invention is an elevator car intended for transporting people and freight, in an elevator wherein the elevator car is supported resting on suspension members and arranged movably in an elevator hoistway when moved by a hoisting machine. At least the floor and roof of the elevator car are composed of dimensionally precise modular elements fabricated by casting, extruding and/or pressing into their shapes and dimensions.
ELEVATOR CONNECTOR WITH ANGLED INTERFACE
A connector assembly includes a connector body and a suspension member. The suspension member extends along a center axis and comprises a plurality of tension members encased in a jacket. The suspension member has one end received within the connector body, and this one end has an end face extending at an angle relative to the center axis with ends of the plurality of tension members being exposed. A plurality of contact members are supported within the connector body, and each contact member contacts an exposed end face of at least one tension member to establish electrically conductive connections with the plurality of tension members.
Method For Manufacturing A Rope Terminal Equipment, Method For Manufacturing A Rope Terminal Arrangement And Elevator
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a rope terminal equipment of a hoisting device, comprising extruding a profile bar; and cutting a wedge shaped piece from the extruded profile bar; and providing a rope terminal frame comprising a tapering nest suitable for accommodating an end of a rope and said wedge shaped piece. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a rope terminal arrangement of a hoisting device and to an elevator, which implement said method for manufacturing a rope terminal equipment.
METHOD, ROPE, ARRANGEMENT AND ELEVATOR
A method for providing a rope end block on an end of a coated rope includes providing a rope including one or more elongated load bearing members embedded in a coating; and processing an end section of the rope, said processing including removing from the end section of the rope material of the coating from around said one or more load bearing members; and molding a rope end block around the processed end section of the rope. One or more electrically conductive connectors can be embedded in the end block, A method for manufacturing a rope terminal arrangement, a rope terminal arrangement of an elevator as well as to an elevator are also disclosed.
ROPE LIFTING TOOL AND A ROPE LIFTING ARRANGEMENT
A rope lifting tool for belt-shaped ropes provided with an uneven surface pattern on one or both of its opposing wide sides, includes a first guide for guiding the rope lifting tool along a first guide rail; a second guide for guiding the rope lifting tool along a second guide rail; an upright plate, and an inclined plate at an acute angle relative to the upright plate, the upright plate and the inclined plate having a wedge shaped space between them; and a plurality of wedge members placed adjacent each other inside the wedge-shaped space. A rope gap for receiving an end of a belt-shaped rope is formed between each wedge member and the upright plate, which rope gap is narrowable by wedging of the wedge member in the wedge shaped space. A rope lifting arrangement includes the rope lifting tool. Each rope gap is delimited by a vertical face of a wedge member and a vertical face of the upright plate or a vertical face of a liner attached thereon, and the vertical face of the wedge member and/or the vertical face of the liner is provided with an uneven surface pattern forming a counterpart for the uneven surface pattern of the belt-shaped rope.
