ELEVATOR
An elevator car has a roof hatch arranged on a car roof and a ventilation device mounted on the roof hatch, wherein the car roof has a car top surface defining a walkable region. The roof hatch has a cover plate on which a fan of the ventilation device is mounted, wherein the cover plate, at least when the roof hatch is in a normal position, is an integral part of the walkable region. The roof hatch is stored on an exit opening in the car roof whereas the roof hatch can be removed and put aside to the car top surface. The cover plate has a central aperture through which the air blown by the fan can flow. The aperture is secured and covered by a grill mounted on the cover plate, whereas the grill is dimensioned to provide the grill with a walk-on capability.
ELEVATOR HAVING FUNCTION OF REMOVING DUST ADHERED TO OBJECT ABOARD
The present disclosure relates to an elevator having a function of removing dust adhered to an object aboard, including: a car which provides a boarding space, and in which a pair of air holes disposed in a diagonal direction each other at a same height of an inner space are formed; and a pair of fan modules that generates whirlwind rotating in the inner space of the car by ejecting air traveling from one of the pair of air hoes in a direction away from a center of the inner space of the car and ejecting air traveling from the other of the pair of air hoes in a direction away from the center of the inner space of the car, in which dust adhered to the object aboard inside the car is separated from the object aboard by the whirlwind generated inside the car.
Elevators and outdoor intake HEPA filtration systems
An elevator air filtration system having an elevator car, an outdoor intake HEPA air filtration system that creates HEPA filtered air at a desired temperature, humidity and quantity of filtered outdoor air, and a retractable hose system that delivers the HEPA filtered air to the elevator car.
ELEVATOR SYSTEM VENTILATION
An elevator ventilation system comprising an ultraviolet source that illuminates elevator system air blown through an illumination chamber, and an air filter that filters the air as it flows through the chamber. The ultraviolet source is blocked from view from outside the illumination chamber. An air curtain emitter may expel a curtain of air across the elevator doorway, limiting air communication between an elevator interior and the elevator landing when elevator doors are open. An air outlet may be shaped to receive an elevator light fixture and to expel air into the elevator interior via an aperture adjacent the light fixture. An air curtain emitter may comprise an air outlet slot shaped to expel a curtain of air separating an interior of the elevator car into at least two air compartments defined by the “barrier” of the air curtain.
AIR STERILIZING ELEVATOR CAB AND METHODS
An elevator cab and method of sterilizing the air of an elevator comprising, a plenum configured to fluidly connect to an interior of the elevator cab, at least one intake formed in the side walls of the elevator cab and in fluid communication with the plenum, a fan configured to draw air from the elevator cab via the intake duct and the plenum, and a kill box, including a source of ultraviolet C (UVC) light, and configured to receive air via the fan, wherein the UVC light is configured to sterilize air removed from the elevator cab.
ELEVATOR SYSTEM WITH CABIN DIVIDER
An elevator system, having: an elevator car, the elevator car including: a front end that includes a front doorway; an aft end that includes an aft doorway; and a cabin extending from the front end to the aft end; and a divider system operationally coupled to the elevator car within the cabin, intermediate the front and aft ends, that is operational to transition between: a retracted state, where the cabin is undivided; and a deployed state where the divider system divides the cabin into a front zone that is accessible by the front doorway and an aft zone that is accessible by the aft doorway.
Sound absorbing panels for elevator
A panel assembly for an elevator cab includes an outer panel that defines an exterior surface of the elevator cab. A first inner panel is spaced from the outer panel and at least partially defines a first cavity with the outer panel. A foam panel is located adjacent one of the outer panel and the first inner panel. A first passage opening is associated with the first panel and is in fluid communication with a ventilation passage at least partially defined by one of the inner panel or the outer panel.
Air Cleaning and Purifying Apparatus for Elevators
An air cleaning/purifying system for elevators includes: a housing, one or more fans, three filters, and a lamp. The housing, made of a chromium-nickel-molybdenum austenitic stainless steel, is formed of one or more walls that create an air tight enclosure, except for one or more air inlet openings proximate to each fan, and a plurality of air outlet openings. The three filters are positioned between the inlet and outlet openings, and include: an active carbon filter to absorb odors; a HEPA filter formed of a fiber mesh that traps particles; and a filter formed of a selective metallic compound (e.g., titanium dioxide) that emits hydroxyl radicals when illuminated by light from the lamp. The fan(s) is/are mounted to the housing and positioned to draw/direct air into the air tight enclosure through the inlet opening(s) and direct it at the filters, in the direction of the outlet openings.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF A PANEL ASSEMBLY FOR AIR TREATMENT
A panel assembly for air treatment comprising a rigid body including an inner surface and an outer surface that is opposite the inner surface, the inner surface defining an inner space within the rigid body, the rigid body having a rectangular shape with a ratio of a width to a depth such that the rigid body is flat and hollow, the rigid body including a first longitudinal end containing a first opening in communication with the inner space and a second longitudinal end containing a second opening in communication with the inner space, the first opening positioned opposite the second opening along a longitudinal length, and an ultra-violet light assembly mounted within the inner space.
COUNTERWEIGHT HANDOVER TEST DEVICE AND METHOD
An elevator counterweight assembly (11) includes a counterweight structure (38), at least one safety brake (12a, 12b) mounted on the counterweight structure (38), and a safety actuation mechanism (16) including a connection (17) for a suspension member (18). The safety actuation mechanism (16) is configured to move, relative to the counterweight structure (38), between a normal position, and a safety position. In the safety position the safety actuation mechanism (16) is arranged to actuate the at least one safety brake (12a, 12b) and thereby brake the counterweight structure (38). The counterweight assembly (11) also includes a mechanical actuator (22), configured, when actuated, to apply a force to the safety actuation mechanism (16) and thereby move the safety actuation mechanism (16) from the normal position to the safety position, e.g. for the purposes of a handover test.
