Removably Engageable Rope Guard
20200291573 · 2020-09-17 ·

A rope severing guard is engageable around a rope or flexible member to protect it from severing by a chainsaw cutting chain. The guard has a flexible body having a rope passage through which a protected rope is positioned. An interior cavity in the body of the rope severing guard is filled flexible fibers which if contacted by a moving cutting chain of a chainsaw, will form clogging engagements with the cutting chain and the chain support it moves upon or with the cutting chain and the motor drive gear powering it.

Adjustable spreader bar

A spreader bar apparatus provides a bar member having a bar length and first and second bar end portions. A plurality of transverse bar openings are spaced between the bar and end portions. A first bar lifting portion or link assembly is movable relative to the bar and into different positions. A second bar lifting portion or link assembly is movable relative to the bar and into different positions. Each bar lifting portion or link assembly has a trunnion sleeve fitted with multiple links. One or more lifting lines are each attachable to the lifting portions such as to an upper link or lower link. Each lifting member includes an upper link, a lower link, and a trunnion sleeve, wherein the trunnion sleeve has a bore that is sized and shaped to receive the bar, wherein the upper and lower links are rotatably mounted to the trunnion sleeve. One or more pins enable the trunnion sleeve to be attached to the bar at a selected bar opening.

A synthetic load transfer assembly. The assembly generally includes a load portion connectable to a connection point (e.g., a shackle) of a load, a first lifting portion connectable to a first lifting device (e.g., a crane of a vessel, a winch of a production system, etc.), and a second lifting portion connectable to a second lifting device (e.g., another crane of the vessel, a crane of another vessel, another winch of the production system, etc.). Load bearing portions connect the load portion to the respective lifting portions. The portions are formed of one or more synthetic materials.

METHOD FOR ANCHORING A HOLDING MEANS IN A WIND TURBINE AND ADAPTER

A method for anchoring a holding means of a transport tool, in particular a sling of a rope for supporting loads, in a wind turbine, the wind turbine includes at least two components connected via a bolt-and-nut arrangement includes multiple pairs of bolts and nuts at opposing flanges, the nuts fastening to the bolts at the upper flange, wherein at least one adapter includes a cylindrical outer holding surface for receiving the holding means is placed atop of at least one nut covering its edges, and the holding means is fastened to the adapter is provided.

Rigging basket

A rigging assembly has no loose parts that an up-rigger may drop. The rigging assembly includes a length of steel cable terminating in a loop at each end. One loop extends through an oblong master link, while the other loop extends through a swivel hook. The ground-rigger can attach the hook of a hoist's chain to the master link on the ground. The ground-rigger can then tie the up-rigger's rope onto the master link. The up-rigger then pulls the rigging assembly and the hoist's chain up to the beam, leaving the master link and chain under the beam. Then the up-rigger grabs the hook end of the rigging basket assembly, bends it over the beam, and attaches the swivel hook end to the master link, thus creating a loop around the beam to support the hoist's chain and load, which is known in the industry as creating a basket.

Method of manufacturing an endless loop

A method for manufacturing a rope structure comprising providing, around a first roller and a second roller, a loop including a plurality of twisted strands. The method further comprising feeding a plurality of body strands onto the loop, feeding including, with the plurality of body strands connected to the loop, moving the loop about the first roller and the second roller to cause the body strands to lay and be twisted on the plurality of twisted strands.

FLEXIBLE PULLING ROPE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
20240263682 · 2024-08-08 · ·

A flexible pulling rope includes a main rope body and a main rope sleeve. The main rope body is formed by connecting a rope from head to tail. The main rope body includes a connecting part formed by two parallel ropes and two pulling parts located at two ends of the connecting part. The main rope sleeve sleeves the connecting part. Two ends of the main rope sleeve are respectively connected to two ends of the connecting part. The present disclosure also provides a method for manufacturing a flexible pulling rope. By the arrangement of the above structure, the two ends of the main rope sleeve are respectively connected to the two ends of the connecting part. This can not only form a whole by the connecting part and the main rope sleeve, improve the strength of the product, and make the product bear higher loads when pulling heavy objects.
