The crane also has a crane controller that is configured, in a coordinate control operating mode, to control the coordinates of the arm system. The crane controller has a user interface, and the user interface has at least one function which can be selected by a user and by way of which at least one of the degrees of freedom of the arm system can be restricted or is restricted in the coordinate control operating mode.
BOOM FOR MATERIAL TRANSPORT
A foldable boom for conveying an item, said foldable boom being foldable about at least one folding axis, said foldable boom being locatable in a folded stowed position, and moveable to unfolded extended positions; said foldable boom having a near end arranged for pivotal movement about a first horizontal axis located on a turret, said turret being rotatable about a vertical axis; said foldable boom having first conveying apparatus to convey an item therealong, internally within said foldable boom, to a remote end of the foldable boom; wherein said foldable boom is foldable about a folding axis, and a pivoting shuttle equipped with a clamp to releasably hold an item is provided at said folding axis to transfer said item between said first conveying apparatus in boom elements connected about said folding axis.

MARINE KNUCKLE BOOM CRANE
A marine knuckle boom crane includes a pedestal and a crane housing rotational relative to the pedestal. A knuckle boom assembly is attached to the crane housing and includes a main boom and a spreader type jib. A hoisting system includes a first departure sheave and a second departure sheave on the jib, and a third departure sheave mounted to the main boom or to the crane housing. One or more winches drive a first, second, and third cable which are each connected to an object suspension device and each pass via the first, second, and third departure sheave, respectively, to the respective winch. The first, the second, and the third cable together define an inverted pyramid which diverges upwards from the object suspension device when handling the object.

Tower crane with automatic folding and unfolding stanchion
A tower crane configured to fold and unfold between a working configuration and a transport configuration includes a boom hinged in rotation relative to a mast about a main axis of rotation. The tower crane includes a rear retainer fastened to a frame supporting the mast and to a stanchion. The stanchion extends the boom rearwardly of the main axis of rotation and is displaceable relative to the boom between a working position and a transport position. The tower crane further includes a lifting cable connected to a winding device exerting, on the lifting cable, a tension force applied on stanchion by a return system configured to cooperate with the lifting cable, so as to cause displacement of said stanchion from the working position to the transport position.
Articulated boom with boom segments and method for producing a boom segment
An articulated boom of a large manipulator includes a plurality of boom segments connected to one another via articulated joints. At least one of the boom segments has a welded assembly forming a box profile in which an upper belt and a lower belt are connected to one another via lateral web plates. At least one of the web plates, the upper belt, and/or the lower belt is formed at least by one sheet metal section, which has at least one bending running essentially in a longitudinal direction of the boom segment. The at least one bending ends at a distance from an end of the sheet metal section so that the end of the sheet metal section is unbent.

METHOD OF MOUNTING A SELF-HOISTING CRANE ON A WIND TURBINE AND SELF-HOISTING CRANE
The crane is hoisted from the ground to the nacelle by operating a cable winch at ground whereby a cable extends from the crane to a roller at the nacelle and to the cable winch. A hoist block with the roller is arranged on a jib at a first hoist block position above a second hinge part of a crane base and extended in horizontal direction from the nacelle. When a first hinge part of the crane is positioned at a corresponding second hinge part of the crane base, the cable extends in a downward direction directly from the roller of the hoist block and through a central opening in a pedestal. After mutual connection of the first and second hinge parts, the hoist block is removed from its first hoist block position.
LIFTING DEVICE HAVING AN APPARATUS FOR ASSISTING OR FOR FULLY AUTOMATICALLY CARRYING OUT AN ERECTION OR PLACING DOWN PROCEDURE OF A BOOM SYSTEM AND CORRESPONDING METHOD
The present disclosure relates to a lifting device, in particular a mobile crane or a cable-operated excavator, that comprises a superstructure, a main boom that starts from the superstructure, a luffing boom that starts from the end of the main boom remote from the superstructure, a winch arrangement, and a tilting moment detection unit for determining the tilting moment acting on the lifting device by the position of the main boom and the luffing boom. The disclosure is characterized by an apparatus for assisting or for fully automatic carrying out an erecting and/or placing down procedure of a boom system comprising the main boom and the luffing boom that is configured to carry out the steps for erecting and/or placing down the boom system in dependence on the tilting moment detected by the tilting moment detection unit.
