VISUAL OUTRIGGER MONITORING SYSTEM
A system and method for visually monitoring an outrigger includes a camera assembly configured to monitor an outrigger and a control system operably and communicably connected to the camera assembly. The control system executes instructions to determine a presence, length, and/or position of the outrigger based by an image captured by the camera assembly. The outrigger may include a target to be detected by the camera assembly for monitoring of the outrigger. The target may be the outrigger itself, detected by the control system using edge detection, or a marker disposed on the outrigger. The system may be implemented with a crane having a carrier unit and a superstructure. The system may include a plurality of camera assemblies and a plurality of outriggers.
Mobile crane, mobile crane dolly and mobile crane system
A mobile crane has an undercarriage, a superstructure arranged on the undercarriage, a slewing gear by which the superstructure may be rotated relative to the undercarriage, a slewing gear brake that acts on the slewing gear to brake a rotation of the superstructure, and a jib mounted on the superstructure as to be adjustable in luffing angle and/or in length. The mobile crane additionally contains a dolly coupling arranged on the jib and by which the jib is coupled to a mobile crane dolly during dolly travel with the superstructure in an extended position. The mobile crane further has a sensor interface for connecting a dolly coupling sensor, and a controller that is adapted to ascertain during dolly travel, in dependence on a signal received from the dolly coupling sensor, whether the jib rests on the mobile crane doll, and to activate the slewing gear brake if it does not.
MOBILE CONCRETE PUMP
The invention relates to a method for detecting and verifying a working position of a mobile concrete pump, said method comprising the steps: a) setting up and at least partially supporting the concrete pump at a set-up position; b) detecting position-related data of a working position, wherein the working position is located in a region of a surface to be concreted which is remote from the set-up position; c) comparing the position-related data with a theoretical working area resulting from the set support; and d) outputting a signal as to whether the working position can be operated. This makes it possible to set up or support a mobile concrete pump in the most optimal manner possible. The invention also relates to a method for determining a suitable support setting, a measurement device, and a mobile concrete pump.
Power supply system and tracked vehicle
In a power supply system comprising an electric generator, a DC intermediate circuit, at least one rechargeable electrical energy storage, which is connected to the DC intermediate circuit, a rectifier via which the electrical generator is connectable to the DC intermediate circuit, and at least a first inverter, the DC side of which is supplied with direct current from the DC intermediate circuit and the AC side of which is connectable to an electrical load, and further comprising a control device which regulates the generator in dependence on the load of the electrical load, it is provided that the control device is designed to switch between a first and a second operating mode of the power supply system, wherein in the first operating mode the electrical energy generated by the electrical generator is supplied via the rectifier to the DC intermediate circuit, and in the second operating mode the generator is connected to the load in parallel with the inverter.
SET-UP METHOD FOR A MOBILE CRANE AND MOBILE CRANE
A mobile crane includes an undercarriage, a superstructure having a crane boom and a crane cable, and a plurality of support carriers for stabilizing the undercarriage in a correct operating state. In order to set-up the mobile crane, a support carrier is disposed in a disassembled state separately from the mobile crane in a waiting position. The support carrier is connected to the crane cable of the crane boom and is shifted between the waiting position and a receiving position which is disposed on the undercarriage. The support carrier is moved by the crane boom between the receiving position and a coupling position in a support box of the undercarriage in such a manner that the support carrier is guided in the support box at least in a substantially tension-free manner. A controller is configured to carry out the set-up method.
