MOBILE CRANE

In a crawler crane, while a fly jib is in use, the fly jib is suspended from a coupling flange by a jib raising/lowering wire rope that is wound around a sheave, the sheave being slidably attached to a tip end side section of the fly jib. If the sheave is caused to slide by a jib raising/lowering cylinder attached to the fly jib, the fly jib suspended from the coupling flange by the jib raising/lowering wire rope inclines with respect to a boom. The raising/lowering mechanism of the fly jib is installed on the fly jib side, thus making it possible to easily perform work to extract/store the fly jib.

Structure installation system with vehicle having hangers to support a wall

A structure installation system which maintains one or more walls in a desired position and orientation during installation of the one or more walls. The structure installation system generally includes a vehicle which is adapted to traverse a ground surface. The vehicle includes an arm having an arm coupler to which a support is connected. One or more walls adapted to be installed in the ground surface may be removably connected to the support, such as by securing the walls to adjustable hangers that are removably connected to the support. By adjusting the positioning of the hangers, the orientation and position of the walls may be adjusted. Once put in position, the vehicle and support will retain the walls in the desired position and orientation while concrete is poured and allowed to cure to form a unitary structure such as a bollard wall.

WORK PLATFORM COMPRISING A CRANE DEVICE

A mobile crane is configured so that a boom is raised by a derrick cylinder in response to a raise signal output from a derrick lever and the derrick cylinder is stopped in response to the derrick angle of the boom reaching the maximum angle corresponding to the hoisted-down length of a rope.

CRANE HAVING EFFECTIVELY COINCIDENT GANTRY AND BOOM FORCES UPON AN UPPERSTRUCTURE
20190193999 · 2019-06-27 ·

A crane includes a base, an upperstructure rotationally mounted on the base, a boom, and a gantry. The boom is pivotally attached to the upperstructure at a front attachment location and supports a load line operable to raise a payload. The gantry is mounted on the upperstructure and supports a boom line coupled to the boom. The gantry includes at least one front leg mechanically coupled to the front attachment location and inclined away from the boom to apply, to the front attachment location, a horizontal force component towards the boom opposed by a horizontal force component applied by the boom towards the front leg. The upperstructure includes a frustoconical turret forming an upper circle and a lower circle. The front attachment location is aligned over the upper circle of the frustoconical turret.

Overhanging storage mechanism for jib

The overhanging storage mechanism for a jib is provided with: a guide roller (31) provided to a jib (15); a guide (32) provided to a base end boom (14a); a jib-fixing pin (43) provided to the base end boom (14a); and a pin socket (45) that is provided to the jib (15) and that comprises insertion holes (48), (49). The jib-fixing pin (43) and the insertion holes (48), (49) are arranged so that the jib-fixing pin (43) is inserted in the insertion hole (48) when the jib (15) moves along the base end boom (14a) together with contraction of a boom (14). The inner dimensions of a front end opening (48) are larger than the outer dimensions of the jib-fixing pin (43). It is thus possible to absorb positional displacement between the jib-fixing pin (43) and the insertion hole (48).

IBC installation/manipulation tool for stacked rail containers

A tool for installing and removing an interbox connector into and from a corner fitting of a cargo container positioned on a rail car. The tool includes support structure configured to releasably engage the opening in the upper locking cone of the connector whereby the connector can be delivered to or removed from the corner fitting without the need for the operator to climb onto the rail car.

An SCR-quipped rough terrain crane in which a urea water tank is laid out at the optimal position is provided. A rough terrain crane is equipped with an exhaust emission control device that is laterally adjacent to a diesel engine. The exhaust emission control device is provided with a urea water tank and is laid out in a rear portion of at a vehicle body. The urea water tank is disposed on a front side of the exhaust emission control device. The urea water tank is disposed in the vicinity of the left side of the diesel engine when viewed from the rear side of the vehicle.

Provided is a crane capable of allowing an operator to recognize an error in work information or in a number of windings set in a safety device. A main tension of a main wire rope is calculated from a main output torque of a main winch, a sub output torque of a sub winch, a main drum winding radius of the main winch, and a sub drum winding radius of the sub winch. An estimated hanging load, which is calculated from the main tension, a sub tension of a sub wire rope and the number of windings of the wire rope set in a safety device, is compared with an actual hanging load calculated from fluctuating thrust force and boom information. Thus, the suitability of a work kind or a winding number set in the safety device is determined.
