Systems and methods for home position and cart acquisition with a materials handling vehicle
A variety of vehicle-based and warehouse-based solutions are provided to increase the adaptability, utility, and efficiency of materials handling vehicles in the warehouse environment, such as a goods storage and retrieval system, comprising a multilevel warehouse racking system, a mobile storage cart, a cart home position, and a materials handling vehicle disposed on a vehicle transit surface and comprising a fork carriage assembly, a navigation subsystem, a cart engagement subsystem, and one or more vehicular controllers to use the navigation subsystem to navigate the materials handling vehicle along the vehicle transit surface to a localized engagement position where the cart home position is within a cart engagement field of view, and use the cart engagement subsystem to engage the mobile storage cart in the cart home position with the fork carriage assembly.
Modular powered mover attachment
Apparatus for moving different movable loads. The apparatus includes channels that can be engaged by a fork lift, pallet jack, or other powered mover. The apparatus also includes a mounting plate disposed between the channels. The mounting plate includes a receiver channel. The apparatus includes a plurality of load support tools that can selectively engage the receiver channel. The load support tools include different respective end effectors. A load can be engaged with the end effector of a selected load support tool such that the apparatus can move the load.
Materials handling vehicle comprising hand-held drive unit
A variety of vehicle-based and warehouse-based solutions are provided to increase the adaptability, utility, and efficiency of materials handling vehicles in the warehouse environment, such as a materials handling vehicle comprising a hand-held drive unit comprising a user interface and an operational command generator responsive to the user interface. The hand-held drive unit is configured to send operational commands generated in response to user input at the user interface to the vehicular controller(s) to control operational functions of the traction control unit, the braking system, the steering assembly, the mast assembly, the picking attachment, or combinations thereof.
Hybrid vehicle system
A vehicle includes an electric machine, a detachable lift, and a controller. The detachable lift has a lift battery that is electrically connected to the electric machine. The controller is programmed to, responsive to the vehicle traveling on a predetermined route, transfer power between the electric machine and lift battery such that a lift battery charge is within a desired range at an end of the route.
Pallet Detection Systems and Methods for a Material Handling Vehicle
A pallet detection assembly for a material handling vehicle is provided. The pallet detection assembly includes a body defining a cavity and having a proximity sensor housed at least partially within the cavity. The pallet detection assembly further includes an actuation plate having a tab coupled thereto and extending in a direction toward the body, and an actuator having a cylinder coupled to the body and a plunger slidably received within the cylinder and coupled to the actuation plate. The actuator is configured to movably couple the actuation plate to the body so that the actuation plate is configured to non-pivotally displace relative to the body.
FORKLIFT SCALE ATTACHMENT
The present disclosure describes a lift truck attachment system that includes a lift truck carriage with an upper carriage support and a lower carriage support secured between two support brackets. The lift truck carriage is dimensioned to fit at least partially between opposing masts of a lift truck, such that the upper and lower carriage supports do not extend substantially beyond a forward surface of the mast. A device assembly, is mounted to the lift truck carriage, the device assembly including a base portion removably secured to the upper and/or lower carriage supports via one or more attachments. The device assembly can include a carriage scale removably secured to the base portion, the carriage scale configured to support load handling fixtures, such as a lift fork. In some examples, a single carriage support is used.
Lift chain tension relieving devices and methods
Devices and methods to relieve lift chains from being maintained under constant, or nearly constant, tension are provided.
Working Machine
A control system for use with a working machine is provided, the working machine including a machine body, and a load handling apparatus coupled to the machine body and moveable by a movement actuator with respect to the machine body, the working machine being configured for use with at least one electric energy storage module. The control system includes a controller configured to: receive or acquire information representative of an attribute of said electric energy storage module; determine permitted and/or prohibited operations of the working machine based on the received or acquired information; and issue an operations signal for use by at least one element of the working machine corresponding to the determined permitted and/or prohibited operations.
Apparatus for controlling irradiated light on forklift
An apparatus for controlling irradiated light of a forklift according to an embodiment of the present invention is characterized in including: a lamp driving unit for controlling an illumination angle of a lamp that illuminates a forklift; a fork position sensing unit provided at one side of the forklift or a carriage, and sensing a lifted position of a fork; and a control unit for controlling the illumination angle of the lamp through the lamp driving unit according to the lifted position of the forklift, when the lifted position is input from the fork position sensing unit.
FORKLIFT SIDE DOOR
A forklift side door capable of being selectively opened to facilitate quick and easy replacement of a battery. The side door including: a door panel; a hinge securing bracket secured to the forklift body; a first hinge shaft provided with the hinge securing bracket; a first hinge block supported by the first hinge shaft, and which is relatively rotatably coupled to the hinge securing bracket; a second hinge block disposed adjacent to the first hinge block, and supported by the door panel; a second hinge shaft connecting the first hinge block and one side of the second hinge block such that the second hinge block is relatively rotatably coupled to the first hinge block; and a locking member capable of selectively locking the second hinge block to the first hinge block such that the second hinge block and the first hinge block are rotatable integrally.
