APPARATUS FOR FILLING CARTRIDGES OF E-VAPOR DEVICES
An apparatus for the automated filling of cartridges of e-vapor devices may include a filling drum configured to receive at least one cartridge of an e-vapor device. The apparatus may additionally include a needle assembly including at least one hypodermic needle. The needle assembly is configured to transition between a lowered state and a raised state. The lowered state is where the hypodermic needle is moved down into the cartridge, while the raised state is where the hypodermic needle is lifted up and away from the cartridge. The apparatus may further include a pump assembly configured to pump a pre-vapor formulation into the cartridge when the needle assembly is in the lowered state. The pump assembly may include a variable amplitude cam system configured to adjust an amount of the pre-vapor formulation for pumping to the cartridge without changing start and stop times for the pumping.
System for simultaneous filling of multiple containers
A fluid distribution system is configured to distribute fluid from a first vessel to second vessels includes a hub assembly and a frame assembly. The hub assembly has an input cap, a distribution cap, a first clamp, and a second clamp. The input cap defines an inlet and the distribution cap is sealingly secured to the input cap with a plenum being defined between the input and distribution caps. The distribution cap includes conduit connectors that each defines an outlet in fluid communication with the plenum. The first clamp is disposed over the distribution cap and is engaged with the input cap to secure the input cap to the distribution cap and the second clamp is disposed over the input cap and engaged with the distribution cap to secure the distribution cap to the input cap. The frame assembly supports the hub assembly and is configured to secure each of the secondary vessels at a predetermined distance relative to the hub assembly.
STERILE CARBONATED BEVERAGE FILLING SYSTEM AND STERILE CARBONATED BEVERAGE FILLING METHOD
A sterile carbonated beverage filling system includes a beverage sterilizing section which sterilizes a raw material liquid to prepare a sterilized beverage, a beverage cooling section which cools the sterilized beverage, a carbonated beverage producing section which injects carbonic acid gas into the sterilized beverage to prepare a sterile carbonated beverage, and a carbonated beverage filling section which fills the sterile carbonated beverage into a bottle. The beverage sterilizing section, the beverage cooling section, the carbonated beverage producing section, and the carbonated beverage filling section are connected by a beverage supply pipeline. The carbonated beverage filling section and the beverage supply pipeline each include a rotary machine, and a boundary surface between a rotating body and a non-rotating body of the rotary machine is sealed with sterile water or sterile air.
COLLAPSIBLE BOTTLE AND FILLING STATION
Provided is a bottle which includes a neck portion configured to receive a cap to seal the bottle, a lower portion including a bottom on which the bottle is configured to stand erect, an upper portion extending from the neck portion to the lower portion and an annular rib. The annular rib defines a transition between the lower portion and the upper portion and protrudes outwardly with respect to both the upper portion and the lower portion of the bottle. The upper portion, lower portion and annular rib are portions of a single entity formed from one material. The upper portion is configured to reversibly collapse into the lower portion.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TREATING A CONTAINER WITH FUNCTIONAL CHECKING
An apparatus for treating a container with a treatment fluid, for example in a beverage bottling plant, including: at least one treatment member with a switchable treatment valve, wherein the treatment member is configured to treat the container with the treatment fluid by opening the treatment valve and to end the treatment by closing the treatment valve; at least one motion sensor which is configured to detect a movement of the treatment member or a component that is mechanically coupled to the treatment member during switching of the treatment valve; and an electronic evaluation unit which is coupled in a communicating manner to the motion sensor and is configured to draw conclusions about the switching behavior of the treatment valve from processing the data that is detected by the motion sensor.
System for handling plates in a machine processing containers
A handling system in a machine for processing containers, including a plurality of support plates circulating in a closed circuit, each support plate including one or more housings, each housing being able to hold a container, a working portion, in which the support plates circulate in a horizontal position, with a first member for moving the support plates along a first axial direction, a rapid return portion, with a second moving member configured to move the support plates along an opposite axial direction, the support plates circulating in the return portion in a vertical return orientation, the handling system including rotation stations for pivoting the support plates.
BEVERAGE BOTTLE AND CONTAINER HANDLING ARRANGEMENT FOR HANDLING BEVERAGE BOTTLES, CANS, OR SIMILAR CONTAINERS, AND A METHOD OF OPERATING A BEVERAGE BOTTLE AND CONTAINER HANDLING ARRANGEMENT
A beverage bottle and container handling arrangement for handling beverage bottles, cans, or similar containers, and a method of operating a beverage bottle and container handling arrangement, and an adjustment arrangement configured to adjust components of the beverage bottle and container handling arrangement and a method therefor.
Gas replacement system and gas replacement method
To reduce an amount of use of a replacement gas used for replacing air in a container. A gas replacement system includes: a washing machine that washes the container with water; a filling machine that fills the container with a content fluid; a sealing machine that seals the container transferred from the filling machine; a chamber that covers the filling machine and the sealing machine, and contains a replacement gas; and a water discharge mechanism (washing machine) that discharges the water in the container having been carried into the chamber while containing the water out of the container in the chamber. The water in the container is replaced with an ambient gas in the chamber along with the discharge of the water.
Device and method for pasteurizing and filling medium into containers
A device for pasteurizing and filling medium into containers includes a short time heating system for pasteurizing the medium, a single buffer container downstream of the short time heating system for receiving the medium, and a rotary filling device downstream of the buffer container. The filling device is connected to the buffer container in a buffer-free manner and pipes and/or one or more rotary distributors are disposed between the filling device and the buffer container. A method for pasteurizing and filling medium into containers, where filling the containers with the medium is performed by way of a device in a buffer-free manner using a filling device, includes: pasteurizing the medium in the short time heating system, buffering the pasteurized medium in the buffer container, and filling the pasteurized medium into the containers. The pasteurized medium is transported in a buffer-free manner from the buffer container to the filling device.
Process and apparatus for enriching silicate in drinking water
Disclosed is a process for enriching silicate content in drinking water that includes separating raw water via reverse osmosis into a permeate comprising demineralised raw water and a retentate comprising mineral enriched raw water. The permeate is mixed with a water glass solution comprising sodium silicate and/or potassium silicate. An ion exchange process is used to reduce the concentration of sodium and/or potassium ions in at least part of the mixture. At least part of the retentate is supplied to the mixture after reducing the concentration of sodium and/or potassium ions to provide a silicate-enriched drinking water. Also disclosed is an apparatus for producing a drinking water enriched with silicate. The apparatus includes a reverse osmosis unit, a mixing unit, an ion exchanger, and a feed unit for feeding at least part of the retentate to the mixture after reducing the concentration of sodium and/or potassium ions.
