Method and Apparatus for Multi-Line Fuel Delivery
A gravity-fed fuel delivery system is provided.
A central storage tank holds fuel to re-supply a number of pump trucks or other mechanized equipment, such as on a hydraulic fracturing location, and can be selectively raised or lowered. Hoses or other conduits extend from the central storage tank to individual fuel tanks of the equipment to be refueled. Adapters allow connection of the distal end of each hose or conduit to an inlet opening of a fuel tank. A float valve assembly senses when fuel inside an individual fuel tank is below a predetermined level, thereby mechanically opening a valve assembly to permit fluid to flow from the central storage tank, through a conduit, through the float valve assembly and into the fuel tank.
COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR HYDROGEN FUELING AND ELECTRIC CHARGING
Systems and methods for fueling (or charging) communication, for example between a hydrogen fueling station and a hydrogen powered vehicle (or an electric vehicle and charging station) may utilize near field communication as well as vehicle to infrastructure communication. A wireless communication safety break device is disclosed which has an upper safety break portion having a fuel inlet, an upper portion check valve, an upper portion communications device, an upper portion contact point or switch, and a lower safety break portion having a fuel outlet, a lower portion check valve, a lower portion contact point or switch, and a locator device.
Pneumatic operated tank filling system and related method of use
A system and related method of filling tanks is provided so that tanks do not attain an overfill condition and/or so the tanks are filled to a maximum specified capacity. The system includes an adjustable float switch having a float configured to float in liquid that is filled into a trailer tanker, a mix tank, a frac tank, a storage tank and a variety of other tanks. The float can be set so that when the liquid attains a maximum level and associated volume, the float switch opens so that pressurized air can be communicated from it to a pneumatically actuated tanker valve disposed in a supply line. This shuts off the flow of liquid through the supply line and into the tank. The system can be operable in a various modes, such as a filling mode, a filled mode, a manual emergency shutoff mode and/or a manual reset mode.

Vehicle fuel delivery
Data are received indicating an amount of pumped fuel provided to a vehicle fuel tank. A vehicle fuel tank fuel volume is received. Upon determining that a difference between the pumped amount of fuel and a detected change in a fuel volume in the fuel tank exceeds a threshold, a fuel pump is deactivated.
Method and apparatus for multi-line fuel delivery

Emergency release system for liquefied hydrogen
An emergency release system includes a first shut-off valve unit which is land-based; and a second shut-off valve unit which is provided for a marine vessel and separably connected to the first shut-off valve unit, and the first shut-off valve unit is provided with a reservoir container which receives liquid air generated in the first shut-off valve unit and dropped, in a state in which the second shut-off valve unit is separated from the first shut-off valve unit, and the system includes a container support mechanism which is capable of retaining the reservoir container at a retracted position in a state in which the first and second shut-off valve units are connected to each other, the container support mechanism being configured to automatically shift the reservoir container to a reserving position, in a state in which the first and second shut-off valve units are separated from each other.
Refueling adapter
A refueling adapter configured for permitting a vehicle having a twist-lock coupling-style fuel receiver to be fueled from a fuel source having a dry-break coupling-style fuel dispenser. The refueling adapter having a body portion and a mating assembly. The body portion has a first end and second end. The first end of the body portion is configured for dry-break coupling with a fuel dispenser. The second end of the body portion is configured for rotatable engagement with the mating assembly. The mating assembly is configured for engagement with a twist-lock coupling-style fuel receiver.
